What's the worst film you ever manage to live through?

Currently have Sweeney Todd on.

OK so i might not manage to actually live through it which makes me subject title a bit misleading but I've succeeded in keeping it on for over 19 mins purely because I've so far been shocked ridged that a film the cast it has can be so so very awful.

Not sure awful even does it justice

Oops, Bruce Willis in prohibition era I mean. The thing is there was no plot, it was just 'lets kill as many people as possible in this film'

FelicityParpworth · 07/01/2011 19:32

Four Christmases - totaaly, utterly shite.

boogeek · 07/01/2011 19:32

Road trip

LIZS · 07/01/2011 19:34

so many ! Armageddon , A River Runs Through It, Jurassic Park 2, Braveheart ...

PureBloodMuggle · 07/01/2011 19:34

Still have it on

Keep thinking it can't be too back - the cast list is quite good.

think I might just be getting to the gorry bits. Might cheer it up a bit

Oh yes, it gets better when they start making pies!

BecauseItoldYouSo · 07/01/2011 19:35

Munich...I would have walked out if I was not with 4 other people. It was horrendous!!

I just kept praying for it to end.

ethelina · 07/01/2011 19:40

American Pie. I think I was the only one in the full cinema with a straight face all the way through. I just did not see anything funny in the entire film.

Mamma Mia. What a pile of shit!

Run, Lola, Run. Shock one evening of my life I shall never get back.

I watched Inception again on NYE with my sister. She didnt rate it but I thought it was brilliant. (didnt translate well to the small screen though)

PureBloodMuggle · 07/01/2011 19:41

Obviously I meant "too bad" not "too back".

I also fancy Alan Rickman, though have to say the judge he's playing is a bit of a meanie.

The musical aspect of it all is making me feel like I've enter another dimension and have been slipped large amounts of mind altering drugs.

Power Rangers

Pokemon

Thank God DS1 is old enough to take DS3 to the cinema

MyNameIsInigoMontoya · 07/01/2011 19:43

Speed 2. Why did someone think it would be a good idea to replace (rather fit) Keanu with a plank of wood for the sequel?

sinpan · 07/01/2011 19:49

Twilight, especially the second one. Not even the shirtless werewolf guy could redeem it for me

Twit · 07/01/2011 19:52

I agree with so many of these films, but where is Titanic? Or have I missed it?
Actually I have not watched it so it doesn't count.

I therefore nominate Dungeons and Dragons.

CointreauVersial · 07/01/2011 19:54

It's an old one, but it still sticks in my mind. DH and I could not believe a film could be such self-indulgent nonsense.

Sirens.

It had Hugh Grant in, I think, playing, er, Hugh Grant. And Elle McPherson, possibly. With no clothes on. Hilariously bad.

tallulah · 07/01/2011 19:55

Eyes Wide Shut
followed by Circus.

Moulin Rouge doesn't count because I turned it off after 10 minutes.

littlemissindecisive · 07/01/2011 20:00

Love love love Moulin Rouge.....but you;ve got to be a Ewan fan to anjoy i think!

littlemissindecisive · 07/01/2011 20:01

Twilight here too....very disappointed....don't believe the hype Confused

littlemissindecisive · 07/01/2011 20:02

Another vote for Mama Mia being a pile of shite too!

moondog · 07/01/2011 20:02

Mamma Mia
Fuck me, that is the worst thing I have ever seen. I am genuinely perplexed by its popularity in the same way i am genuinely perplexed that peopel buy James Blunt CDs.

Gulliver's Travels

Embarassingly shite.

CountBapula · 07/01/2011 20:03

Ocean's Twelve. Self-indulgent toss. I wanted to hide under my cinema seat. I was embarrassed for them.

rookiemater · 07/01/2011 20:05

The Tourist was fairly rubbish but my personal vote is for Sex in the City, so crap you would have to be a masochist to go and see SATC2

KaraStarbuckThrace · 07/01/2011 20:16

Battlefield Earth. That was baaaaaad.

JetLi · 07/01/2011 20:23

Slept thro Evita at the cinema, plus a Brosnan bond film whose name escapes me....

LIZS · 07/01/2011 20:27

dh has just reminded me Independence Day and Legends of the Fall.

talkingnonsense · 07/01/2011 20:30

The shipping news. Dh fell asleep in the cinema!
