yes BitofFun - you were right, it wasn't even 3 days, BeastofBodmin - yes I'm moaning again.

I'm not coping, I'm a fucking mess.

Have been trying to write it all down for the last hour and have given up.

If you've already posted on my other recent threads I haven't ignored the time and effort put it to try and support me, i do appreciate it I just can't even take my own advice right now

Oh Toccata, I'm so sorry.

Do not let this set you back. I know it's upsetting, but it's only a card, DS can make you another one.

Now what are you still doing online woman? You have dishes to do!

Is the card fixable? Is fixable a word?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/03/2010 12:07

I'm off to sort out my own pigsty, so don't forget to e-mail me, I will be back online later.

sb6699 · 25/03/2010 12:07

If you e-mail me ( sb dot 6699 at yahoo dot co dot uk) with your address you can have this one.

Save your pennies for the new storage boxes!

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 12:11

I've picked all the lovely glittery bits back off the floor (I think - unless any fell between the floorboards), don't have any glue, so may try and borrow some from toddlers this afternoon and see if he can fix it. (DS2 that is not DS3.....)

I need to go make DS3 some lunch, will try and do some dishes after he's had that and I've had another coffee (I seem to be living on caffeine and nicotine right now)

sb6699 that's really lovely of you bit it's ok. I've got the money for the card, camera cost me £40 less than I was expecting it too

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/03/2010 12:13

Don't forget to eat lunch yourself!

sb6699 · 25/03/2010 12:14

No worries, just came across it when tidying out the kitchen drawers and thought of you

Started DS's room yesterday but had run out of bin bags and boxes. Got some bin bags at the market this morning and friend bringing over some boxes later so will make a start again after DD2 goes to nursery.

Speaking of wish, I better get a move on!

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 12:27

it's strange the things you find in kitchen drawers isn't it.

I have got lunch for myself, cheese, ham (cheap ) and pickle sandwich.

Bitter - you know I'd already forgotten that I have yet to reply to your email.......wll go and do it now

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 12:59

am not going to make it to town today I don't think, too late to go now, and don't really feel up to mandhandling putting DS3 in the pushchair and traipsing in.......I suppose I could go with the boys after I pick them up from school, but then I'll already be home so probably won't feel like going out again.

Will try and get those dishes done and write a list for tomorrow though

sb6699 · 25/03/2010 13:03

"speaking of wish" Should have read "speaking of which".

DD has been deposited at nursery and now having a peaceful coffee before starting again.

Its amazing how much crap I have thrown out/rehomed already but it doesnt seem to look any different - I suppose I'll notice how much easier it is on moving day.

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 13:50

bugger - have just changed DS3 ready to pop across the road to toddlers and discovered I'll need to go to town after all as I'm nearly out of nappies

OP posts:
ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 15:37

back from toddlers/school run, it's pissing down out there. But need to go back out to get nappies

DS3 is in a strop (a general 2yr old strop)
DS2 is in a strop because he got told off at school (And by me as well) - getting changed after PE and he an one of the girls pulling their pants down and showing each other their privates
DS3 is in a strop because I told him off for carryig a letter home from school in the rain, instead of putting it in his bag

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 17:36

oh god that was the trip to town from hell.

By the time we got to town we were all soaked, DS3 threw a tantrum in every single shop every time we stopped beacuse he wanted this that or the other, he either did the full on waiting or his "snapping" (shouting loudly and very apruptly).

I tried to appease him by buying him a 70p car in Wilkinsons, but then he wanted something else, and something else and something else.

By the time we got to morrisons I was snapping at all of them (but especially DS3) (I'm just waiting for the thread about a mother seen in Morrisons snapping harshly at her DS in puschair to "just stop whining").

We're back and he's just sat for 10 minutes in his pushchair howling as he didn't want to come in the house.

Whenver I say we're going home he's fine, until we get to the door and then he doesn't "want to go in thathouse".

He has stopped crying now, but I could cry.

purpleturtle · 25/03/2010 17:49

Sounds horrendous. Hope you're having a coffee now.

Did you eat at Morrisons, or are you now cooking for the boys as well? Hopefully not long till they'll all be in bed, and that'll be another day done.

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 18:19

no I was tempted to eat at Morrisons, but DS3 was in such a foul mood I decided against it, they're having cheese and ham chicken kievs, (shop) potato wedges and frozen veg for dinner.

I have managed to do one draining board full of the washing up.

I took a before photo (got my memory card) of it all piled up, and hopefully at some point before bed I'll have an after one too........

Bedtime is 8pm (8.30 for the other 2), but DS3 may go up early as he seems tired

OP posts:
BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/03/2010 18:22

Sounds like you've had a nightmare!

Not long til bedtime, then you can put your feet up and maybe even have a glass of wine?

Remember, if you need anything bringing tomorrow just text me and I'll pick it up on the way (Hopefully avoiding any supermarkety tantrums )

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 18:22

btw purple - that offer for August - are you sure about it?

OP posts:
ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 18:24

No I don't drink in the house on my own any more, especially when I'm down, fell into a hole with that 2yrs ago when I was depressed...

OP posts:
BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/03/2010 18:34

Cup of coffee? Or are you all caffeined out?

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 18:38

might put my coffee maker on and have a pot of coffee sitting there.........

OP posts:
purpleturtle · 25/03/2010 19:10

Yes I am. Will have to pull my finger out and plan where to go, out of your way!

ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 19:13

I feel your pain - I'd been stumped as to where to go after the 2 weeks in Edinburgh

OP posts:
ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 21:03

have given up for the night

OP posts:
ToccataAndFudge · 25/03/2010 21:59

purpleturtle - I'm actually quite excited about going to Liverpool - I've never been before.

I need to reply to my mum's email.......

OP posts:
ToccataAndFudge · 26/03/2010 00:03

hmm well that was a bit of a shock, I have just spent 2hrs - yes really! on the phone to my brother........and what's more we didn't argue once (although near the end when I mentioned our parents reaction to me splitting up with XH he decided that perhaps we'd better not discuss it as we may well disagree......)

I now need to email my parents to tell them I can't make my mun's birthday meal she wants to have.........I just can't do it, not just because of the relationship issue, but the thought of taking the 3 DS's to big family/friends sit down lunch fills me with dread.

We can just about manage Morrisons cafe for dinner now without too much incidence (DS3 stands on the chairs and climbs over to the one behind and climbs under the table etc etc) - but we only last about 20/30 minutes before we have to leave...

Yes in August he'll be that little bit older, but he'll still only be 3 and I can't imagine him wanting to sit there, nor DS2 for that matter, for as long as it will take.

OP posts:
sb6699 · 26/03/2010 00:15

Sorry you trip to town didnt exactly go smoothly - they always seem to act like that at the most inconvenient times.

Do you not have anyone you could ask to babysit for your mum's birthday lunch? Any neighbours who have older teenagers who would glad of extra cash?

I didnt get any more packing done again today - I know I'm going to be panicking the night before we move because nothing is done.

DD1 has just woken up with earache so she'll probably need to stay home from school tomorrow so wont get much done then either.

Sounds as if you got alot done the other day when Cordon came over - hopefully when Bitter comes tomorrow it'll be the same again and before long your house will be immaculate and I'll still be sitting here completely disorganised.
