Some of you may have read my thread about my neighbours, I am feeling so drained and tired, DH is in deep depression and won't leave the house, I am trying to keep things as normal for the kids as possible, but they are wondering why daddy won't take them to school etc, I feel like I have been hit by a hammer, and can't do this much more, waiting for the comminutty policeofficer to phone me so I can get a letter so we can move as an emergnacy, the kids are fighting and screaming and I keep crying,

Any chance you can check it out tomorrow ? Drive over, have a poke, if it seems OK, it might be better than stewing till your heads explode.

sparklymieow · 15/05/2005 18:38

i know what you mean but you have to look after your own family .Dont dismiss the exchange idea .Its the housing who need to be responsible not you !You have done nothing wrong.

gggglimpopo · 15/05/2005 19:29

They might put a really scary family into your house - that'd give your neighbours something to think about

hub2dee · 15/05/2005 19:54

The housing people will be aware of the situation and manage accordingly.

Are you suggesting there could be a direct house swap (you / another family) ?

sparklymieow · 15/05/2005 21:29

yes, a lady has a disabled adapted house in walthamstow, but i think its too far

the kids enjoyed their day outside anyway, Ds got hot very quickly so came back in, but the girls stayed out and played on their bikes until they decided to actually bring the bikes inside actually ate my dinner tonight without feeling sick.

spoke to the housing dept. in the next town and she said that I can ask for a mangerment tranfer in this town, this is a tranfer that the mangerment agree too, and would put us at the top of the list. I have to speak to the police tomorrow and see what he says, she was very helpful...

well hope it all gets the ball rolling for a move for you .Its so unfair that you feel you have to move when you arent to blame .I was at the point of just abandoning my house over my neighbour ,the drug dealer .Then he died on holiday - and i felt so bad for not caring .Fingers and toes crossed for you !!

sparklymieow · 16/05/2005 22:18

they have been playing music quite loud tonoight, I know what the are doing, they want us to go and have a go at them and then they can start again. I wil be reporting it to the council tomorrow

OP posts:
jjash · 16/05/2005 22:28

yeah they are messing with you to get a reaction .Rise above it cos that will really piss them off then

sparklymieow · 16/05/2005 22:34

I know thats what they are doing, they have done it already this week. Sat outside in his car with the music blasting for 2 hours, it was making my house shake. But all they are going to do is piss the other neighbours off too. One of DH's friend is lending us a CCTV type of camera, so we can get evidence
