Surely not, she couldn't love him more than you!

Have you tried an anti inflammatory gel on the sore area? I would say take ibuprofen but lithium rains on that parade.

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 21:21

it was very nice of you to try Flowers

will probably stage a miraculous recovery in my sleep

or I could treat it like a mental disorder and Just Stop It

Just stop which? Thinking about it or running?

Come and watch undatables with me because it's the marriage one and it's lovely.

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 21:24

oh no that's a good idea, I don't have any but will get someone to bring me some tomorrow

just stop having the world's mildest calf strain

I wouldn't mind not running if it wasn't my favourite thing which I love even more than horses

is it on live tv or can I find it on an on demand type channel? oh that reminds me, my friends (from the weekend) gave me sky log in details so can watch anything they subscribe to (which is everything I think) people are NICE

On c4 now. On 4od or whatever after this.

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 21:31

ohmygod it works! I can watch things at their scheduled time! eeeeeeep!

CaulkheadUpNorth · 02/02/2015 21:32

You realise you're probably the only person who does that Grin

Ivytheterrible · 02/02/2015 21:37

Sorry about the calf strain Mitchy

If HCPs keep asking you "can you keep yourself safe" what are they really asking?

Also enjoying the undateables as much as I can enjoy anything right now.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 02/02/2015 21:38

Dunno but I would imagine whether you are likely to hurt or harm yourself and that you know what to do it you think you might?

happyyonisleepyyoni · 02/02/2015 21:43

I thought 'Do you think you can keep yourself safe" ="are you going to top yourself"?

Love all the euphemisms.....

Ivytheterrible · 02/02/2015 21:43

But if you keep saying yes I can stay safe but they keep asking you. Do you think they think you are lying about it. I think I'm being slowly broken down by people...

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 02/02/2015 21:45

This is a lovely chatty thread. Smile

To answer the original Q, I am most definitely FAT these days. Fat n' happy, that's me. Nice and stable most of the time too, thanks to all the meds that are making me FAT.
I'm trying to shift the weight through diet and exercise, some days more successfully than others (especially as I tend to self medicate with chocolate and crisps too). I don't want to mess with my meds. Too scary Grin

Ivytheterrible · 02/02/2015 21:46

But honestly do they really think you would say "no I'm not safe" what would the implications be?

I'm home alone for a few nights just me and the kids and not in a good place right now so 'they' are getting concerned I think.

happyyonisleepyyoni · 02/02/2015 21:50

Well if you do feel like you might hurt yourself you must tell them

I always feel judged when I get asked those questions, it's like you are being treated as a naughty child "you won't fight with your brother/run across the road/whatever will you?"

Ivytheterrible · 02/02/2015 21:51

I'm officially FAT. BMI of 29 when checking in with midwife last week. This time last year I was 2.5 stones lighter

happyyonisleepyyoni · 02/02/2015 21:54

Ps I'm fat, medicated and still mentally disordered...I feel cheated

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 22:25

Our Sky box is mentally disordered and refused to record Broadchurch.

Good luck with the physio. Waiting lists horrendous around here for them.

Arsenic · 02/02/2015 22:36

Our Sky box is mentally disordered and refused to record Broadchurch.

That's a sign of good mental health. Is it fat?

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 22:40

I'll just go and see one at running/cycling physio place (think I owe them £££ for a missed appointment ages ago though) can't imagine how long nhs referral would take

they can do ultrasound things on it and use the magic tape etc it might not be as bad as I think (it hardly ever is)

happyyonisleepyyoni · 02/02/2015 23:58

Yy to gym/sports physio. DH had a private hospital one who was rubbish, he now sees one at the gym who makes him wince but it is working.

Sky box is not fat, thinks it's a bit too cool for school by maliciously denying me the viewing pleasure of David Tennant's beard though.

Mitchy1nge · 03/02/2015 08:33

David tennant is not even nice, is he? Hmm

OP posts:
happyyonisleepyyoni · 03/02/2015 09:06

David Tennant = meh
David Tennant + beard = smoking hot

(And I say that as a previous beard hater)

CaulkheadUpNorth · 03/02/2015 09:08

No. You're wrong. David Tennant is in the "fine" box. He is as fine as anyone else except those more or less beautiful than him.

Who wants coffee and who wants to find me a job?
