Sorry they weren't more helpful snowy. Is day hospital still an option? If so it might be worth thinking about.

SnowyMouse · 02/02/2015 18:25

I don't think it would help.

Chapuys gives good advice snowy. It might be better than sitting home alone with your thoughts.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 02/02/2015 18:51

Anyone seen Enpo today?

Millie2013 · 02/02/2015 19:05

I haven't seen her, in case she's lurking
Give some thought to daycare (as it's known around these parts), Snowy. As I (think I) said, you don't have to go back, if it's not helpful. Can you go for a visit/assessment? That's what I did

Mentalpsychiatrist · 02/02/2015 20:20

Where is everyone tonight?

Millie2013 · 02/02/2015 20:26

In bed, waiting for DD to stop taking the p* and pretend snoring/giggling and go to sleeeeep
Am v tired...

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 20:30

Millie2013 · 02/02/2015 20:46

I love roasted veg and cheese

CaulkheadUpNorth · 02/02/2015 20:47

I've had therapy which was a stressful as always, and now had a perfect meal with the academic housemate.

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 20:52

is that the ultra runner? does she know anything about calf strains?

someone somewhere knows how to make them go away

OP posts:
Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 20:52

Mentalpsychiatrist · 02/02/2015 20:54

Have you iced the injured calf mitchy?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 02/02/2015 20:55

Where is it and does it hurt when you flex your foot up and down. (She says)

Mentalpsychiatrist · 02/02/2015 20:55

Sorry if that was a very obvious question.

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 20:57

yeah, am icing it on and off

cannot even WALK properly AngrySadAngry however is Day 1, there are 6 more before the race, over a month until the next and 3 months until marathon so I don't to kill myself as such

am not likely to have compartment syndrome am I? hypochodriacalnosity

OP posts:
Mentalpsychiatrist · 02/02/2015 20:58

No, you're definitely not likely to have compartment syndrome.

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 20:58

is very sharp, in gastroc, yeah hurts to do that, hurts while it's not even doing any stuff

(strained soleus last year? year before? and that was much duller and more gradual)

CaulkheadUpNorth · 02/02/2015 21:01

She says get a foam roller.
Also, she says it will have happened from going too fast too quickly and doing too much. You may have thinner/weaker bones and so you will need to rest and build it up slowly.

You would know if you have comp syndrome as it is gross and she said don't google it.

TRexingInAsda · 02/02/2015 21:06

I can't believe the question tbh. Fat, of course - MUCH rather be fat please! And I say that as someone who has been 5 stone overweight and struggled to buggery to lose it as I hated it so much. But your mental health is the most precious thing you have - without it, you have literally nothing else because you can't rely on your own mind for clarity about what you have/are/think. For example, if you have a mental illness which makes you think you're fat or ugly, then even if you're Megan Fox, to you, you ARE fat and ugly. You need your mental health to know you've got anything else. Hope you are ok OP.

Mitchy1nge · 02/02/2015 21:17

thanks, it was an especially poorly worded thread title really but thank you!

and thanks caulk, have a foam roller (medium density, the blue one) I feel like I've been really careful, my back stopped me from doing much last month, it was under a hundred miles which is pretty low, my body should be well adapted to it now

physio friend is taking ages to get back, sometimes I think she loves her infant son more than me Shock

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 02/02/2015 21:18

That's ok. Sorry I/she can't be more help.
