Yes to leg warmers, what colour/s?

PollyPooic · 07/02/2015 14:45

oooh

I love all colours especially the colourful ones, not so much the greys and browns but more the purples and orange, yellows and turquoise

Ennn · 07/02/2015 14:49

Oh no W.O.S. just started again. Roundandroundandround. Managed to drink self into stupor sleep/doze most of this morning but now just left with the hangover and an overwhelming need to go out for a run which I CAN'T FUCKING DO because of my stupid fucking knee.

Wish I knew what the fuck was wrong with it.

Hooray for everyone's outdoor excursions!

DP is getting bored with me tootling around the house singing so will maybe go out for a walk too.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/02/2015 14:50

Do you like neon? I have some amazing neon wool.

Ennn · 07/02/2015 14:52

There's not a legwarmer in the world that would go round my calves Grin 38cm! Shock

Ennn · 07/02/2015 14:52

Polly you would look AWESOME in neon legwarmers

PollyPooic · 07/02/2015 14:54

I LOVE NEON

am an elderly raver!

during a partial forced DVT assessment this morning it emerged that injured calf is almost 1/2 an inch bigger than normal so we might need stretchier ribbing :(

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/02/2015 14:56

Sure that is all fine

UpOnDown · 07/02/2015 15:03

A shop near me sells neon/florescent wool.

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 15:28

Are you still icing the ginormous calf Polly?

Ennn · 07/02/2015 15:38

Strange mental images there

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 15:43

I think we have the same mental image Enn. Big black and white hairy bovine baby covered in royal icing.

Ennn · 07/02/2015 15:43

moo

PollyPooic · 07/02/2015 16:02

mmm cake

yeah on and off, the thing takes ages to freeze and we ate the injury peas during penurous times

although am sure the physio said to use warm things last time what is the difference?

I kind of regret eating half a pack of sugar free chocolate eclairs (391 cals) but at least it gets me hobbling about

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 16:05

Ice at the start then switch to warming. Have you any of those microwave hot thingies?

Ennn · 07/02/2015 16:06

I ate two boxes of sugar-free lozenges the night before last and spent yesterday morning exploding.

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 16:09

Sugar free sweets are bastards. I had a similar experience with sugar free polos. Never again.

Ennn · 07/02/2015 16:13

Did winders for my Friday weigh-in tho

I usually use xylitol if I need a polyol in cooking. Erythritol if I'm feeling flush (very pricey but zero calories and zero digestive distress). Xylitol meringues are amusingly cooling. But the isomalt they use in these lozenges is deadly.

Ennn · 07/02/2015 16:13

Winders Grin

I mean wonders

Ennn · 07/02/2015 16:32

Listening to some Norwegian darkwave

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 16:35

I'm watching the rugby. Just saw Ireland beat Italy and now getting ready for wales v Scotland. I love the 6 nations Smile

Ennn · 07/02/2015 16:39

There's a gorgeous ex-soldier rugby player started going to my tai chi group. 6 foot something, muscly as fuck, short hair, black skin, big eyes, long eyelashes, tattoos, distracting trouser bulge... I fell over trying to do the crane.

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 16:41

I hope you got a better vantage point from the floor!

Ennn · 07/02/2015 16:46

Mmmmmm.

The ex-soldiers are often lovely to look at but oh-so-fucked in the head.
