I'm all Tudored out after having to "do" Tudors for tedious project after tedious project throughout seemingly the entirety of primary and two years of secondary.

And everyone is called Thomas.

It's a massive pain.

When I'm home alone I regularly have breakfast for supper. Nothing wrong with it snowy.

SnowyMouse · 31/01/2015 19:11

ok, I will.

I guess I just find the source material dull Blush I want to like all the complicated political intrigue but it's all just so hard to remember who is who and there are no decent newspaper articles from the time to read. What I really like is looking at propaganda and different takes on the same events and all that kind of thing Blush It's why I was so annoyed when I switched from a school doing the WW1/WW2 GCSE to a school doing learntheseboringfacts History of Medicine.

I'm a total geek and loved the history of medicine when I did it at uni. I get what you mean about the Tudors though, even though I loved Wolf Hall and Bringing Up the Bodies

Mentalpsychiatrist · 31/01/2015 20:38

Did I kill the thread with my confessions of geekery?

My arse is so painful Sad

CaulkheadUpNorth · 31/01/2015 20:40

I think you're more likely to kill it by talking about a painful arse unless you clarify by adding that it's because of the horse.

Is it because of the horse?

SnowyMouse · 31/01/2015 20:41

No you didn't, I'm feeling on very shaky.

SnowyMouse · 31/01/2015 20:46

shaky ground. Maybe take temazepam if I can't get to sleep/switch off.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 31/01/2015 20:46

What would you do if I said it wasn't the horse? Wink

What has you feeling so shaky snowy? Have you had something to eat?

SnowyMouse · 31/01/2015 20:48

I had porridge, I meant mentally shaky.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 31/01/2015 20:50

I wouldn't say anything. I would just mentally raise an eyebrow.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 31/01/2015 20:50

Sorry snowy, I missed your second post.

Has anyone seen Ted? It's on Ch4 at 9 but I'm not sure if it'll be my type of movie.

SnowyMouse · 31/01/2015 20:52

Good night all.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 31/01/2015 20:52

I hated it. I'm not big on stuff that isn't real, and it wasn't my humour. Everyone else in the world likes it though.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 31/01/2015 20:56

Good night snowy, I hope you have a good sleep and that you feel better tomorrow.

I think we'll give it a swerve Caulk, frat boy humour does nothing for me. Would like to go to the pub but I'm in my PJs. Might watch that Cucumber programme that I recorded.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 31/01/2015 21:00

I loved cucumber. I don't know anyone else I know who is watching it though.

Oh for a pub nearby. I live in a v dodgy area and would never go to the pub here. The nice ones are all a drive away.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 31/01/2015 21:02

We have one pub in the village. Thankfully it's very nice and does great food. I want to go for a pint of ale which I'm not allowed on my diet.

Enpoid · 31/01/2015 21:05

Night Snowy.

I like geeks. Was called Geeko by everyone on my school bus every day for years.

I've just drunk a bottled ale that I bought for a friend so I've drunk the ale for the thread for tonight.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 31/01/2015 21:11

I'm jealous Caulk even though I enjoyed half a bottle of red with dinner.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 31/01/2015 21:12

Our local Asda has four bottles for £6. This wasn't mine to drink though so I feel a bit bad.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 31/01/2015 21:46

Am enjoying Cucumber Caulk, thanks for the recommendation.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 31/01/2015 21:49

Have you watched Orange is the New Black on Netflix? It's brilliant.
