Suddenly very grateful to only have ended up with diabetes from my mental illness.

Release a self help book.

Just Stop It - achieving mental normality

I have written a self help book before! with mad cancerous Jewish friend

shall I find a bit of it, see how much help it actually is?

Mitchy1nge · 26/01/2015 11:56

there was a BIDDING WAR and everything

obviously we never finished it because of our mental disorders

but it could be revived

CaulkheadUpNorth · 26/01/2015 11:58

I pay £300+ pm to be helped by a therapist. I don't want to self help. I want someone else to tell me what to do and what I'm thinking.

herecomesthsun · 26/01/2015 12:01

paying a therapist to tell you what to do and think isn't exactly fostering independence, self reliance and self empowerment though, is it?

Enpoid · 26/01/2015 12:03

I've never found self-help that useful - when I'm desperate enough to need it I'm too low to concentrate Grin

I just got my headphones back. Adore the Koss lifetime warranty. New cable and jack, for the price of posting them to the service centre. Yaaaaaay.

you'd find our self help book helpful, it was fucking awesome

it had whole chapters on: too depressed to cook? use waitrose entertaining, simply reheat and eat but agent said this was culturally insensitive of us to those who don't have a waitrose near them or something

Mitchy1nge · 26/01/2015 12:13

it had powerful suicide prevention properties too 'don't kill yourself, even people who don't know you very well will be briefly disturbed by the news'

I must find it, it could SAVE LIVES

SnowyMouse · 26/01/2015 12:17

CPN has cancelled.

SnowyMouse · 26/01/2015 12:18

Happy birthday!

CaulkheadUpNorth · 26/01/2015 12:19

Oh snowy I'm sorry. Could you make a gp appt for tomorrow to get an increased dose?

Mitchy1nge · 26/01/2015 12:21

thanks snowy, sorry to hear that :(

Enpoid · 26/01/2015 12:22

Oh Snowy, what an arse. Sad

Just running in to wish Mitchy a very happy birthday. The mentally abnormal beckon.

SnowyMouse · 26/01/2015 12:24

Sad I've left a message to ask about increasing ADs. I'm not sure the GP would as I'm under CMHT.

Enpoid · 26/01/2015 12:24

Beckoning is always a bit sinister.

thanks mp :)

my present is to help you with today's batch of the mentally abnormal, having learned so much from the world's most foremost diagnositician and being also gifted with a sophisticated nomenclature of the anogenital region I can open up whole new areas of psychiatric enquiry for you

Mitchy1nge · 26/01/2015 12:31

diagnostician

diagnostitian

diagnostician?

Mitchy1nge · 26/01/2015 12:31

I thought I invented uropsychiatry once

CaulkheadUpNorth · 26/01/2015 12:35

Is that for people obsessed with wee?

Today's first world problem #12 my hairdresser has left and he didn't tell me. Which is fine as I had already replaced him, but still is totally terrible.

Mitchy1nge · 26/01/2015 12:36

it was for the identification and treatment of disorders affecting the psychological urinary tract

CaulkheadUpNorth · 26/01/2015 12:37

What? I don't have a urinary tract? It's just in my imagination?

Mitchy1nge · 26/01/2015 12:39

I AM SO FAT

and wow, nobody cares!

Mitchy1nge · 26/01/2015 12:40

the psychological urinary tract is distinct from the physical one, silly
