I assume you were internet shopping for wool? Like a normal person? Wink

Mentalpsychiatrist · 29/01/2015 11:38

Umm, yes, wool, of course.

I bought shoes. They make me happy Smile

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/01/2015 11:39

Yep. Shoes will do.

Mitchy1nge · 29/01/2015 11:43

all my running powers and confidence have gone somewhere, started crying during run which was fucking mortifying, slowed everyone down and had to cut it short - everything was hurting, it probably always does but didn't have the usual mental resources to override it

cannot stop crying, hopefully a bath will help me pull myself together then I can review the run and see if there is anything positive about it, there is usually something isn't there

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/01/2015 11:48

Oh mitchy hugs for you.
A bath and maybe the omelette are the way forward I think.

Millie2013 · 29/01/2015 11:52

Hugs, Mitchy :(

Mentalpsychiatrist · 29/01/2015 12:01

Aw mitchy, that sounds rubbish but yes, there's usually something positive to be found if you look hard enough.

SnowyMouse · 29/01/2015 12:17

Look after yourself, mp

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/01/2015 12:36

Its a little bit snowy here.

There is also masses me since I took those. Eek!!

Mitchy1nge · 29/01/2015 12:37

I think I need more lithium, so am glad have organised a test for tomorrow.

Have looked at run, overall pace is nothing to kill self over and it was only just under 10 miles so equally not the End of the World. But I feel dreadful. In general.

Mitchy1nge · 29/01/2015 12:39

Envy caulk - there is no weather happening here

it was very sunny though, it made me think of that line in Silas Marner about sunshine falling on the wretched

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/01/2015 12:41

It's the memorial of the friend who died today but the snow is sticking and it's a 90 minute drive so I don't think I'll make it.

Enpoid · 29/01/2015 12:56

Hope Davis has just had to cancel for some innocuous reason.

Glad it turned out not to be a disastrous run Mitchy.

Hope clinic is okay this afternoon Mp, but we do require deets on the shoes Grin (vicarious shopping is fun)

No snow here either. I've just had lunch, it's far too early, will make hanging on til 5 for my tea difficult.

Enpoid · 29/01/2015 12:58

Have you decided whether or not to go, Caulk?

OP posts:
Millie2013 · 29/01/2015 12:58

Snow coming down thick and fast here!! Eek!!

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/01/2015 13:36

I'm not going to go, it's a bit too far when there is so much snow at the moment. Before the snow I had sort of decided not to go, so it's ok.

Mitchy1nge · 29/01/2015 13:50

all the chat on absolute 80s news bulletins is about snow in the midlands!

am really badly fatigued but on the plus side:

have achieved bath and hair wash
have emailed David Lloyd the notice of cancellation

uh that seems to be it

oh I had some porridge

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/01/2015 14:03

I have achieved moving from my bed to the sofa, taking picture of the snow and carrying the cat about.

You win most awards. Well done.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/01/2015 14:04

As the voice of the midlands I can guarantee we do have snow here.

SnowyMouse · 29/01/2015 14:05

It must be horrible to be snowed in, or is it relaxing?

Well done on the achievements.

Mitchy1nge · 29/01/2015 14:06

thank you

yeah, might as well face it, it may have FELT horrible at the time but I have achieved almost 10 miles at an ok pace for a half marathon

I also achieved drawing everyone's attention to the fact that I do actually live with a severe depressive disorder by bursting into tears as the thought 'oh my god I'm SO rubbish at everything' slunk through my mind

Mitchy1nge · 29/01/2015 14:07

nobody was wondering but I am still crying a bit

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/01/2015 14:09

You're probably not rubbish at everything. You're toilet trained, right? Able to differentiate between various animals?

Probably no one is rubbish at everything.
