Woop! Just got a call asking if I wanted to be visited today (er, no, ta) and telling me that they're about to call CMHT to hand me over to them. Finally getting off this daily checking up soon I hope Grin

Ah, I seem to have descended into tedious wibble again. Am boring myself now! I guess I don't need to keep posting since I'm all handed back to CMHT now. And nobody, but nobody, wants to hear tedious stuff about my personal life Grin

I think I was possibly not quite well (and thanks for all the wonderful supportive messages).

I'm a lot better now. Hopefully everything can just go back to normal, or maybe normal but with more exercise Grin

Thanks for posting Bastard - hope you had such a great time with your friend that you forget all about the hangover by the next time Grin

oi you're chatting rubbish

people love prying into other people's personal lives

went to bed early, or maybe it wasn't early maybe I do normally go to bed at about 10?

hope you slept ok, hope things in general are ok

BastardGoDarkly · 07/11/2014 09:01

Sorry Enpo I crashed on the sofa, woke up kindle in hand, drooling.

Glad you're feeling well again, Mavis sounds unwell herself :(

Not entirely sure of your dps advice either, you know you best, does it help your anxiety?

EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 10:15

Why does MN always crash on my iPod when I've written a long post?Sad

Hope you didn't crick your neck, Bastard.

Seems to help anxiety but at the cost of my lungs. Also it stinks. And is expensive. And I ate 2300kcal yesterday instead of 1300. Very bad. Weigh-in today. Crap.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 10:18

10 seems normalish for you Mitchy.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 10:21

Not sure what the point of getting out of bed would be today

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 10:43

I think I'm going to skip the pregabalin, and next week ask for phenelzine if I still feel shitty. I understand why the doctor wants to treat the anxiety but if the depression is coming, which it feels like it is, I want something I know has worked before. Going to be a bugger for food though.

EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 11:03

Why can't we just buy the drugs we want? Why all these gatekeepers?

OP posts:
Mitchy1nge · 07/11/2014 11:09

(we can, an offshore 'uk pharmacy' exists for that very reason)

is phenelzine one of the ones that is less likely to worsen mood cycling/manic switch?

Mitchy1nge · 07/11/2014 11:12

what's worrying you about pregabalin?

EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 11:14

Dunno. Don't think it matters. If what I had before was hypomania, it's something I'm perfectly happy to risk.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 11:15

Just don't want to take unnecessary drugs. Side effects.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 11:18

And now my scales are lying to me, saying I've lost three pounds this week when I know I've been eating over my calorie goal. Arsebiscuits.

Offshore pharmacy sounds promising. Idea always seemed a little dodgy to me.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 11:19

Hope I'm not getting depressed.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 11:23

Ah buggrit I'm staying in bed.

Several years ago I got interested in modafinil. I wonder if anyone is prescribing that at the moment.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 11:37

By "interested in", I don't mean I took it, just that I did a lot of reading on it.

OP posts:
Mitchy1nge · 07/11/2014 11:56

I've got some modafinil and waklert

didn't get on v well with it

EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 11:59

Really? That's a shame. It sounds like amazing stuff.

OP posts:
Mitchy1nge · 07/11/2014 12:17

any of these things that show early promise in bipolar depression like lamictal even reboxetine (although loved that and would like to take it again) just don't suit me, I feel jangly just thinking about them

nobody prescribed the modafinil or waklert, I bought online

EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 12:20

I didn't read anything about bipolar disorder and modafinil so far as I remember; it wasn't something I thought about back then. I was thinking for ordinary unipolar depression of the type I've always had.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 12:21

Renovating sounds familiar.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 07/11/2014 12:21

Or even reboxetine.
