Right so I got down to 13 stone 3 last year, and now am 14 stone 5. So annoyed with myself.

I am away on a holiday 24th April and want to lose a stone in 4 weeks through Fast800. I know I can do it but need that kick up the bum to start.

So am going to weigh in and post everyday for 4 weeks.

CW: 14 stone 5
GW: 13stone 5

Today I will have -
Black coffee x 2
1 cup of Bovril - 22 calories
1 Babybel - 50 calories
1:30pm - 2 eggs 2 slices bacon = 240 calories
Prawn curry, cauliflower rice, green bean, broccoli and cauli = 500 calories

And we're off!

I will join you.

CW 14stone 11

would like to be 11 stone by next Christmas.

first stone off in 4 weeks would be amazing.

I am fasting from 8pm - 12 noon, when I will have 200 grams of fruit yoghurt with a small bunch of grapes.

Stir fry chicken with bean sprouts/peppers/onions/grated carrots will be my evening meal. Jelly for dessert

Let’s go FastingPhilly

Yogatoga1 · 27/03/2024 22:27

Me too.

my holiday is 14th so only 3 weeks. Aiming for 10lbs if I can’t manage a stone.

started today.

toast 200

apple 50

4x rice cakes with a scrape of peanut butter 200

veggie lasagne 400

850 total.

7 lbs until my next stone marker.

FastingPhilly · 27/03/2024 23:00

Hi @Savemydrink and @Yogatoga1 !

So happy to have company 😀

It sounds like you have both made a great start!

I am also aiming for between 8000 and 10000 steps a day and at least 2 litres of water.

What I actually ate today in the end was -

Prawn and chicken curry with onions and peas (homemade with 300g of coconut milk and a tablespoon of tikka masala powder)
60 g of cauliflower rice
Green beans/ cauli /broccoli

120grams of Full fat fage
100grams strawberries mixed with sweetener and Flax Seed

2 x black coffees and 1 cup of tea with skimmed milk

Total 800 I reckon.
9600 steps and 2 litres of water

I managed to fast from 8pm last night until 4pm today. 20 hours!

First day done - weigh in tomorrow morning 😁

SW 14 stone 5
CW 14 stone 3

Very happy with that! Am going to do my 10k steps today after work, despite the rain!

Hoping to fast until 5pm if I can make it - will have black coffee, very weak juice and a Bovril if I can't hold off

How were your weigh ins @Savemydrink @Yogatoga1 ?

MoveItAnLoseIt · 28/03/2024 10:47

Well done @Yogatoga1 - we are on our way 😀

OP posts:
FastingPhilly · 28/03/2024 20:20

Today I had -

2x black coffees
1 cup of Bovril
Prawn and chicken curry, broc/cauli and cauliflower rice
100g Full fat Fage
100g Strawberries
1 tablespoon Flaxseed
2.5 litres of very weak sugar free juice

Managed a fast from 7pm to 4.30pm 21.5 hrs
9500 steps.

Day 2 done!

How has everyone else's day been?

OP posts:
Yogatoga1 · 28/03/2024 21:02

Slightly worse today.

2 toast 200
5x rice cakes with peanut butter 250
cheese on toast 400

so 850 again not too bad. Been hungry though. Only problem is I’m on nights which always throws me! I need to eat but then I risk doubling my calories!

FastingPhilly · 28/03/2024 23:16

@Yogatoga1 that is still really good! 850 cals, excellent.

Working nights is so hard isn't it, I really feel for you. I put on so much weight when I worked them, just eating to keep awake. Well done you for sticking to this on nights!

Savemydrink · 29/03/2024 04:08

2 pounds off so far. Slow and steady wins the game

FastingPhilly · 29/03/2024 09:59

@Savemydrink that is great - well done! I keep telling myself it is a marathon not a sprint (but really do want a sprint 😁)

Weigh in today -

SW - 14st 5
CW - 14st 2 another 1lb gone

Nothing today. Not suprised as drank tea all night in an attempt to stop myself eating. Gave in and had a slice of bran loaf at 3am.

then couldn’t sleep because I was starving 🙄

hopefully now I’ll be “switched” and the next 3 nights will be easier.

FastingPhilly · 29/03/2024 19:50

Yes I find sleeping hard the first week too @Yogatoga1 as I am so hungry. But then again when I eat my usual stuff there is so much chocolate I dont sleep well then either 😁

I really wanted a Mcd style sausage McMuffin so did my own version!
So today's fare -

2 black coffees
1 tea with a splash of milk - 15 cals
1 cup of bovril 22 cals
2 eggs 140
Mozzarella cheese 120 cals
2 Tesco sausage patties 234
2 slices of keto bread 190

100g FF Fage 93 cals
100g strawberries 33 cals
1 tablespoon flax seed 60 cals

2 litres of week juice

Total 900 I think. Am ok with that!

SW 14st 5

OP posts:
Yogatoga1 · 31/03/2024 13:38

Ah pound on for me. Not suprised as nights do give me twice the opportunity to eat. although it also means my “morning” weigh in is all wrong too as well so I’m effectively not weighing at the same time.

One more to go, then hopefully I can get a proper grip again.

VerlynWebbe · 31/03/2024 13:44

Can I join?

I'm not going to weigh until tomorrow morning (because I had a huge breakfast today) but it's a lot. A LOT. Menopause has hit me hard and I have a desk job.

I really just need a kick up the arse. I can easily do a 16-hr fast, I do it at least 4 days a week, and my diet is pretty ok. Need to drink water.

What sort of exercise are people doing? I am not doing nearly enough which is the other problem I have.

For short term loss I don’t worry about exercise. It drives my appetite and I can’t eat low enough calories. Just try and increase NEAT as much as possible.

if I’m looking at longer goals I try to add in an hour of gym and an hour + walk. I find for the first 3 months I lose nothing or very little, then everything equilibrates, appetite is more controllable and I start losing at a reasonable rate.

that’s also my own personal theory as to why people yo-yo diet. Put a lot of effort in exercise, can’t lower calories enough as their appetite rises, don’t see a result and give up before that key 3 month settling period.
