Right so I got down to 13 stone 3 last year, and now am 14 stone 5. So annoyed with myself.

I am away on a holiday 24th April and want to lose a stone in 4 weeks through Fast800. I know I can do it but need that kick up the bum to start.

So am going to weigh in and post everyday for 4 weeks.

CW: 14 stone 5
GW: 13stone 5

Today I will have -
Black coffee x 2
1 cup of Bovril - 22 calories
1 Babybel - 50 calories
1:30pm - 2 eggs 2 slices bacon = 240 calories
Prawn curry, cauliflower rice, green bean, broccoli and cauli = 500 calories

And we're off!

Down to 13 st 10 today - 6lbs lost. So pleased!

About 800 cals tops I reckon.

Only 6000 steps today but happy with that!

13st 9 today (well, 13st 9.75 but I'll take it 😁) so pleased! So that's 7lbs after 10 days. Haven't seen that number on the scales for a while.

Another 11 days to go and so hoping I can shift another 4/5lbs in that time.

Yesterday I had

3 slices of gluten free toast and peanut butter (felt like a treat!)

Chicken, noodles and veg with hoisin sauce

Strawberries and 70g of full fat Fage with chia seeds

Coffee/ juice

10500 steps 👌

@FastingPhilly well done on your weight loss so far - it's not easy I know, but so worth it !

Can I join in? - I will weigh in each day - I've tried the Fast800 diet / intermittent fasting before, and did quite well on it, but have fallen off the wagon, and put weight back on. Hoping that checking in each day will help with the willpower!

I've started the Fast 800 again, and am on day two. I'm going to stick to this as long as I can, then probably switch to doing 800 a couple of times a week, and eating a little more on other days - but trying to stick to the food principles.

I weighed 15st 3 when I started and weighed 15st 1 this morning, so a good start. I want to lose 35 to 40 lbs before my holiday in late November (21 weeks).

Today I had

1 pm Lunch - feta/watermelon/mint/tomato/cucumber salad with olive oil and lime dressing.
7 pm Dinner - aubergine and green lentil moussaka
Lots of water and some sugar free lemon soda

total 750 cals, so pleased with that.

Checking in for today

15 stone, so this morning was a 1 lb loss, giving 3lbs in two days, I know it's mostly water at this stage, but really pleased with that. Woke up very hungry though, but went swimming which helped to distract me until lunch.

Todays food

1pm lunch - black bean soup with avocado, yogurt, tomato and coriander
5pm snack - fresh apricot, greek yogurt, flax seed and chopped nuts
8.30pm dinner - tuna steak, stir fried veg with low carb peanut hoisin sauce

Comes in at 780 calories, which is good, as I feel like I've eaten quite a lot.

That lentil and aubergine moussaka sounds delicious, where did you get the recipe from please?

I think the recipe was originally from a South Beach Diet book, but I just sort of wing it these days. It's an onion softened, garlic, then two tins green lentils, two tins chopped tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, stock cube, all simmered for about 15 mins then some fresh spinach mixed in.
I slice up two aubergine, brush with a little oil, then bake in the oven to soften. Then layer in an ovenproof dish with the lentil sauce, and pour over a mix of 200ml milk, 100g greek yogurt, 2 eggs and some nutmeg whisked together. Bake at 180 for about 40 mins .

It comes in at 1200 cals for the whole dish, and can do three or four portions, depending how hungry you are! It's a bit sloppy to serve, but tastes good, and I freeze extra portions for evenings when I don't have time to cook.

You are doing so well! 3lbs down already is great. Once I am in the right frame of mind I enjoy being creative with the calories and seeing how much I can fit into 800/1000. I find if I have plenty of protein then I am not craving extra treats as much,

Still 13st 9lb today - 7lb down in 12 days

So after a 16 hour fast, ending at 12pm, I have had

30g GFree Oats
10g Flax seed
200mls skimmed milk Total 200

Chicken and prawn stir fry (mushrooms, peas and broccoli)
Low cal noodles
Hoisin sauce Total 350

1 small piece of banana bread with butter (couldnt resist)
Cup of tea
Strawbs
pecans
Nicks Crunchy caramel bar Total 350ish

So about 900 today

9000 steps
loads of juice and black coffee

Had a break today fallen off the wagon so much I can't even see its wheels in the distance but as it is 2 weeks in I needed a metabolism boost.

That is my excuse and I am sticking with it 😀

@FastingPhilly ah, sorry it wasn't the best day , but a break can be a good thing sometimes. It is a marathon, not a sprint ! There's bound to be ups and downs.

I lost another 1lb this morning, so 4 lbs in total now

Today was an odd day, timing wise, as I had to pick up my DS from the airport, which took much longer than anticipated due to a delay, and I was out this evening. So my meals were squashed into a pretty small window. Not sure how I made it to 3pm before eating!

Lunch 3pm black bean soup, avocado, tomatoes, yogurt, coriander
Dinner 7.30pm chicken in tomato and mozzarella, spinach, brocolli
apricots with cinnamon, greek yogurt, flax seed, nuts

Total of 800 cals.
Went to the cinema, usually would have popcorn, but managed with a Diet Coke instead! Pretty hungry now, so off to bed before I raid the kitchen

Wow @budgiegirl well done on going to the cinema and only havingg a Diet Coke, that is so good! What did you see? We saw Quiet Place 3 at the weekend, thought it was really good.

@FastingPhilly wasn't easy at the cinema - the man behind me was munching away on his popcorn for what seemed like the whole film - I swear at one point he went 'Mmmm' - which didn't help at all 😂. We saw the Quiet Place as well, it was good, but where did they get a cat that doesn't meow !

Another 1lb loss this morning, so the lack of popcorn was worth it.

Total 780.

Hoping I can resist the call of the chocolate that I know is in the kitchen cupboard this evening

lentil and coconut Dahl with cauliflower

860 cals in total

Taking a group of cubs camping for the weekend, so won't be posting until again until Monday. Will be a challenge - cubs love a hotdog and pasta!. I won't be calorie counting, but will be taking some of my own food and trying to stick to the low carb principles as much a possible. We'll see how it goes!

Cub camp was great, but exhausting. I felt I ate well (avoided all carbs) but the scales this morning had stayed the same. And that's despite me hardly sitting down all weekend - I did 30 000 steps on Saturday alone. Ho hum, hopefully I'll lose tomorrow.

Lost a pound this morning, so now weigh 14st 10, a total loss of half a stone. Very pleased

salmon in curried coconut milk, broccoli
apricots with greek yogurt, cinammon and flax seed

total 800 calories - which doesn't seem much for how much I ate! Feeling really full right now!
