Right so I got down to 13 stone 3 last year, and now am 14 stone 5. So annoyed with myself.

I am away on a holiday 24th April and want to lose a stone in 4 weeks through Fast800. I know I can do it but need that kick up the bum to start.

So am going to weigh in and post everyday for 4 weeks.

CW: 14 stone 5
GW: 13stone 5

Today I will have -
Black coffee x 2
1 cup of Bovril - 22 calories
1 Babybel - 50 calories
1:30pm - 2 eggs 2 slices bacon = 240 calories
Prawn curry, cauliflower rice, green bean, broccoli and cauli = 500 calories

And we're off!

Another spanner in the works is that I have a 4 day work trip towards the end of April which means hotel food and eating out. Usually a nice thing but will set me back a week. Hoping this thread helps to get me back on track Smile

Office day so early start
2.5m walk this morning weather permitting
1000 calories
C210k day 7 this evening

GW: 10st 7
Target for end of month - 14st (is this realistic??)

Plan for today:

Brek:
5% fage with warmed frozen berries and almond flakes

Lunch:
Chicken breast roasted in lemon with salad

Dinner:
Daal with more fage

Exercise:
7500 steps (I WFH and my steps are a nightmare)
5k on row erg

Any thoughts on improvements?

@Alainlechat sounds like a good plan for the day. Will the hotel have a gym/ will you get chance to keep up your amazing "steppage" amount?

@Whatonearth2021 Great plan, that food sounds lovely. I do love Fage 😋Half a stone by the end of the month sounds very realistic to me, is that Fast800 you are doing?

One of my self sabotaging triggers I have realised is not losing a few days in a row, then I think "what the heck am I bothering for" and eat everything I have been missing. So today will be a challenge I think.
Posting on here daily is keeping me focused thankfully, and holding myself accountable. Plus thinking it is only 2 more weeks until I go away so that goal is in view.
I can do it!!

I'm really pleased about this thread. I was feeling so torpid and unable to address putting on weight, so this feels like the kick up the bum I need.

SW: 11st 5
GW: 10st
Target for end of this month - 11st (could I do more?!)

Plan for today:

Breakfast:
Homemade granola with blueberries and dried raspberries with soy yoghurt (small bowl)
cup of tea with half a sugar and soya milk

Lunch:
Miso soup, a carrot, two corn cakes and a coconut macaroon
cup of tea with half a sugar and soya milk

Dinner:
Don't know yet! I am going out to see a film at 7pm - maybe some kind of tuna salad beforehand or could I have one toasted hot cross bun (currently looking at me in the bread bin) and that's it?! How many calories do they have?

2 x mugs of lemon and ginger herbal tea

Exercise:
I don't have a tracker. maybe I should get one. I WFH and am trying to finish a dissertation too so I'm basically desk bound! I've walked to a local coworking space instead just to try to get some steps in.

Any thoughts on improvements?

@FastingPhilly keep going today, just 5lbs and 2 weeks to your goal. What an achievement to get there! This thread is routing for you!

No gym at the work hotel but no reason not to continue with the C210k when I am there. Slightly worried as last time I went for 4 days 2lbs went on and then another half at Easter and ended up at my starting weight on this thread...

Target for next 4 weeks, to get as close to 13st as possible.

Today wasn't a great start.. but I'm doing myseld fish and veg for dinner.. tomorrow I will fast and also get back on the 10k steps a day mission! We've got this!!!

Ah thanks @Alainlechat I really appreciate that encouragement 🤗yes, only 5lbs for my goal - I must keep that in mind you are right.
Today hasnt been as bad as I feared, I think as I said, this thread has helped to keep my mind on the goal.

@CatMum79 hope it went ok today! You will smash that 13stone I am sure 💪

Today I haven't counted the calories so much as I just wanted to take a bit of my "trigger" pressure off.

So today I have had -

2 x peanut butter toasts (have keto bread so that was a nice treat)
A handful of walnuts.
Chicken and prawn stirfry (mushrooms, beansprouts, carrots, cabbage, spring onion)
Cauliflower egg-fried rice

Fage with flaxseed and Chia seeds.
Pepsi Max
2 black coffees
2litres weak juice.

I bought some Nick's low carb choc bars the other day, so if I have a craving tonight I may indulge! Highly recommend them for emergencies 😁

You're acing this!! IF you like liquorice then I'd highly recommend Pukka teas Pepeemint and liquorice tea... doesn't even break a fast, but kicks the sweet craving! I'm also loaded with 90% choc, as one sqarevis all I ever want there 😁

I've started my first fast, and will aim to either get-out for a walk tomorrow or on the treadmill!! Time for change 💪

I only had 30 mins after getting home from work before going to the flicks, so had a slice of cheese on toast and a handful of chocolate peanuts. I then had a mug of rooibos tea with soya milk at the film. Just had a small piece of toast now I'm home. End of the loaf and don't want to waste it.

I walked to the film and back so feeling almost virtuous after being so inactive for so long!

So .4lbs down again. Not sure if I like these little drops rather than the stay the same and big whoosh but I will take it!

Today's plan
Early start as office day
2.5m walk this morning
Sponsored walk to raise funds for a colleague in need - 2.5m again
1000 calories. Supermarket salad and yoghurt + banana
Evening prawn stir fry, go protein chocolate mousse 100g (these are lovely BTW).

Well into my fast

So today's plan is fast til at least 12 (working the 16:8) then keeping under 1000 cals. So a salad for lunch and probably fish and veg for dins. Plus at least one walk, either at lunch or after work.

So this is my 2 week milestone weigh in!

10/4 CW 13st 8
11lbs loss
Relieved it is finally moving again. I ended up doing 11500 steps yesterday so I think that helped to move it, move it. Also I finally saw my old friend the toilet again (sorry TMI) so that helped...

Hoping to fast until 3ish then have some protein or fage and a chicken meal tonight but not sure what yet. Waiting to be inspired 😁

We are doing it!! 👊

Steps Mon16848, Tues 12753, aiming for 15000 today 🤞

Calories - I'm coming in around 1100 to 1200 per day which feels doable but if weight loss isn't happening I will cut out my afternoon treat of Greek yogurt, raspberries and meringue nest (160cals).

Well done on those steps @MrJollyLivesNextDoor , especially in this miserable weather.
I will only do about 6k today I think, feel bit tired, so taking it slower today.

So today I have had -

100g fage/ flaxseed/ chia seed 200

Keto lasagna hard to do the calories as it was homemade, but I used creme freche, egg and cheese for the top, 5% beef mince and loads of veg. So I am counting...um... 500

Swede 50
Milk 20

Nick's choc 220 I think

So a fairly big total 1010

but I will see if it has affected my weigh in tomorrow!

Oh I've been awful at weighing in! I had a visit to family and then caught some godawful virus - tested several times for covid but it seemed to just be a shitty cold. So I've been laid up. Will weigh in tomorrow! Great results everyone!

@Whatonearth2021 that salad looked delish 😋

A few curve balls today meant thatbi didn't get my steps in (emergency vet trip, and cat now in for 5 days with cone... so had to sort a few things)

Fasted til 1 then had left over cooked haddock and a gf roll (not ideal, I need ro kick the bread)

2 black coffees
2 herbal teas (liquorice and peppermint)
1 kombucha

Then beef mince with vegs and a small amount of mashed sweet potato and swede.

Couplenof squares of 90% choc.
Over and out!

London tomorrow... so should sort my steps, will fast til lunch again, then grab a salad from my fave salad bar...

Loving having a group to be accountable to!! Xx

Hectic day today working in a different town before rushing back for another meeting at 5pm

I'm currently at around

CW: 11st 5
GW: 10st

Breakfast:
Small M&S hot cross bun leftover but I'm throwing the rest in the bin so I don't eat them
cup of tea with half a sugar and soya milk

Lunch:
Homemade mackerel & dill wrap, a carrot, a coconut macaroon,
cup of tea with half a sugar and milk

Dinner:
Bowl of Butter bean and spinach homemade curry with 2 poppadums ( no rice) ( cooked in microwave so no oil)

2x squares of milk chocolate

Exercise:
Walked about an hour today to the train station and then to venue and back.

Don't feel any lighter! But it's only been a couple of days so hopefully can continue ( without the hot cross buns).

My approach doesn't feel very scientific... more just reducing intake and exercising more

@Resisterance it's all about being mindful and conscious. The more you log and track, the better you'll be! Baby steps and all that! I've got a weekend of eating out and socials ahead.. so I've got to start think how to manage around that!!

Morning Ladies

So 16k steps yesterday and resisted the goodies laid on after the sponsored walk. However recorded a small gain today. (Eyes prawn stirfry recipe suspiciously for salt content)..

Really hoping to get to 12:10 ahead of the family gathering this weekend.

HIIT class this evening
More water!
