@xraydelta i have awful cold too. I weighed myself and def scared myself into behaving! Have planned my week ahead and not weighing myself for 3 weeks but just sticking to plan! I think when I weigh and get closer to goal I start thinking great let’s eat all the cake!!! Need to change this way of thinking!

I’ve just got over the d&v and now I’m full of cold!
So a carb heavy day today, jacket potato for lunch and pasta for dinner. I’m the same weight as last week which seems unfair with all the sickness but I suppose that means it was proper weight loss and not just water. 5/6 more pounds to go but I need to stick with it, I’m the same as you guys, it’s so easy to give up when you are nearly there.

From everything I have read @Addidas and @Chunkymonkey123 sticking to low carb and IF is not a good idea when unwell.

Fast 800 will be there for us when we feel better.

Some kind kind friends have just had a beautiful fruit hamper delivered to my house and I am afraid I have fallen on it with something akin to desperation. Fruit )and toast) seems to be what my body really needs and craves right now, and I am at peace with that for the next couple of days.

I’ve been too scared to weigh! But I’m back on it and feeling focussed . I had 7 to loose till goal but it’s prob ten now with how my jeans r fitting. Will weigh next Monday which is going to be my new weight day . Today

i seem to manage 900 and 30/40 carbs ow I fall off wagon with hunger

I am back on plan today. I staggered to the gym for a training session at lunchtime.

Food wise:

Fasted all morning
Broccoli cheese soup for lunch from the freezer
Mediterranean baked chicken and steamed broccoli for dinner

18/6 Intermittent Fasting

905 calories
20g carbs

How are you feeling @Addidas and @Chunkymonkey123 ?

i was starving today managed 1050 and 47g carbs. Am comfortable and not wanting the road fridge. Aiming for a lower day tmrw . Feeling like some of my bloat gone but not weighing myself as it just throws me off!

Looking like another 1000 day today but I’m fine with that if it keeps me from doing a binge! Daughter been hard work today as 4 teeth coming out and I just needed some dark choc and a milk coffee during her nap!!!

Well done @Addidas , two good days!
I’m almost back to normal now so should get back on the diet really! 144.2 this morning which is a great weight. I had dhal for lunch with is low cal but def not low carb! Chicken laska for dinner, need to avoid the noodles.

I am pretty much bang on 800 calories today, and 35g carbs.

No real exercise though, but I am at the gym again in the morning.

The scales aren't shifting yet <Sigh>

I am a lb or two heavier again in fact.

Maybe tomorrow 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve been rubbish today, still recovering from my cold and I did that stupid thing of having a good weight loss and then giving up!
There’s always tomorrow though and I have nothing planned that should get in the way until dinner our next Thursday. Christmas meal out is the 9th so I want 2 pounds off from whatever I weight tomorrow morning. I think I will have put back on some.

well done for loosing x amount and then raiding the fridge. I’ve promised to not weigh myself for 2 weeks maybe 3 if I can resist!

I managed to avoid icecream tonight that everyone had but had a family meal so had to guess calories I think I’m in at 1050 but about 10g carbs so least that’s low!

tmrw is tricky as dads bday and there’s choc cake in the house :/ which is all time weakness

Going to do it for another week. Am quite sick of this dieting. Feel like I been doing it forever and getting close but not making goal! Anyways yest bday wasn’t great. But been good today on 10g carbs and 900 cals. Had

So I weighed myself but didn’t look. But hubby says im down. Prob just lost the bloat of last week and back at 10.13 but going to keep going and will have a sneaky peak in 2 weeks. Im hoping not knowing my weight is helpful at keeping me on track!

I was 144.6 this morning so the same as last week and that’s 7.4 pounds off in 4 weeks but the last 10 days I’ve not been doing it properly.
Still full of cold so not doing properly low carb. But I’ve been reading the ‘4 pillars’ book which is great and he emphasises the importance of relaxation on weight loss so I’ve been trying to build that in each day. Next step is adding some strength training but I keep putting that off!

I am having a similar experience @Chunkymonkey123 and @Addidas

I was feeling so demotivated yesterday 😔

I've just been to the gym though and I will fast now until dinner this evening.

I have two dinners out tonight and tomorrow, but I will try not to just go crazy with frustration. I can't help these dinners though. It's visiting family. And I will need a glass of wine to cope!

It's so frustrating. I thought I'd be weighing so much less by now 😔

I’ve been this sort of weight for 10 years . Sometimes more sometimes less.

and I get bored and think it’s ok to eat.

both of those make it really hard for me to get firmly into the 10. I’m not giving up though. On plan yest and today. The scales will move!!!!

I fasted all day until dinner out where I had an amuse bouche of potato and jam (obviously it had a different posh name!). It was about the size of a tea spoon so v v v small. And also bloody delicious.

And then monkfish wrapped in ham and some fabulous vegetables.

Followed by cheese and black coffee 🙈

And maybe three glasses of wine in total over the evening 😁

I didn't over eat. I didn't feel stuffed. It was small portions of absolutely amazing food and I didn't have bread or anything like that.

I may as well say it now though so it's out the way. I love the Fast 800 way of eating and subscribe to it; but I will never be able to give up lovely gourmet dinners like I have just had (and will have tomorrow too at a different restaurant 🙈).

What I AM happy to put on the record though is I am willing to forget junk food, chips, takeaways, etc etc. I am happy to never drink another Diet Coke in my life. I won't have a sandwich. If I never give in to junk food, surely the occasionally chef night is okay?

And I am not ever going to ask a chef in a decent restaurant to muck about with their menu and chosen specials to eliminate all carbs as that really is rude imo.

Tomorrow, I intend to fast all day again and skip breakfast and lunch to mitigate it, and I won't touch the bread basket.

I really hope this hasn't made me go backwards too much, but life is so short and tonight was GOOD food.

When I moan in a few days the scales have still not moved, nobody please point out I shouldn't have eaten out 😁

Love that attitude. When I was doing it properly it totally is the way to be able to enjoy an excellent meal as a fast before or after makes the calories irrelevant

10st 4.4 today . Not bad considering it was the work xmas do.

Chicken and roasted veg

I'd like to see movement before Sat as I have another Christmas meal.
