You are all doing so well with your exercise. I need to find a way to psych myself up; I find it so hard with dd around and I feel like running around a classroom all day should do 10,000 but apparently nowhere near according to my watch! Any idea?

1117 today which is too high but I was out from 6.30am - 7.30pm today at a long meeting. I resisted the biscuits and only ate one sandwich at lunch so it’s a win. Still hungry now as had dinner too late. Try again tomorrow!
There is a ‘feel better, live more’ podcast about not eating back your exercise calories if you exercise regularly as your body adapts. I don’t know if it’s true but worth bearing in mind if you hit a plateau.

Ah good to know @Chunkymonkey123 always looking to improve my knowledge.

I'm 10 st 13.4 today so .4 loss. I ate a second piece of choc and a small packet of chocolate almonds so I am happy with that.

Plan for today is feta prawn and avovado salad. I might make some noodles later.

@Addidas That is such a small amount I wouldn’t worry about it. I once weighed a cup of water to see how much is was and it was 400g or 1 pound, so easy to go up and down small amounts.
I’ve just had lunch and still hungry 😂 going to have a cup of tea to help. Chicken with rice for both meals today but different recipes. Did yoga before work.

It’s just disheartening but i agree. I’ve also been dieting for so long this year and I got to 11 in august before my holiday and just haven’t got myself back there due to numerous false starts so it’s really annoying!! I just need to focus and know I can do it! Hopefully will have a whoosh soon

anyways I’ve re jigged my food for today and made it more protein heavy less carb and it’s coming in at 920 cals and 20g carbs (was 60-100 carbs before as wasn’t watching it). Hoping this starts moving things.

Uuuugh getting back on the horse. I'm setting an 11 month goal for myself but I want to start with a month of fast 800 to give myself a Kickstart and get my blood sugar levels under control! I'm working with a Dr and I have to go get my labs done today and I'm so nervous. I want to also do a brisk 30 minute walk twice a day and 16:8 fasting (which I've really struggled with before as I adore my morning coffee with milk, but I'm going to switch to tea) and I already take my daughter to the pool once a week which I tell myself is great exercise!

I've done high protein/fat + lower carb in the past to really great effect (lost 30lbs!) But I am struggling so much with motivation. I'm so tired of feeling heavy!

Just checking in...working from home so no biscuits in the vicinity.

Had usual granola but forgot to weigh it....maybe 40g then some feta and marmalade and then had a Purition drink as too busy to prep anything.

Dinner is meant to be mince, I think I will do carrot spirals instead of noodles.

I finish on 1100 and 45g of carbs. I think I overestimated my dinner calories so hopefully nearer 1000 in reality. Still hungry!

Am 11.2 today. So dropped 2 pounds since last Thursday . Painfully slow for how much I feel I’m giving up.
ugh. Anyways today plan
spinach omelette
heck burgers and brocolli. No time to cook today.
comes in at 900 and 20 carbs

excercise starts next week!

That sucks @Addidas , dieting is so frustrating. 2 pounds is still 2 pounds though so well done for sticking to it!
I’ve finished on 847 today, it’s been ok but struggling now so going to bed.

anyways yest went of plan . Hubby had some good news and we opened a bottle and then ended up with take away. Oops. Anyways back on today.

I have a lunch on sat and there is nothing suitable on the menu!!! There’s one fish dish and one chicken/potato dish but I know it will be my whole day allowance calories wise (Italian place) any ideas??

Hiya Most unlike me but went off plan for a couple of days too. Oh well! I am under such pressure at work until Christmas. I can't deal with anyone else's needs or issues. Only mine. I am so pissed off with constantly ending up in the same place. It's a sort of cycle of weight and work stress plus what life throws at you. So I decided to just tackle one thing. So I tackled the weight and I am categorically not going to self destruct and let it creep back up :) I have learned enough skills and tools. I am a bit worried about the stress as I have done what I always do under stress and that is shut down and isolate myself. Which is a good thing in that I can be very task focused. But I also had to cut out some nice fun people who were distracting me. So what is there for fun? I have my swimming which I love. Also been enjoying reading. And different exercise classes. Aiming to try one new class a week.

Focusing on the weight loss and toning is like well if I am going to be bloody stressed at work then I may as well have something to show for it by Christmas.

@MistySkiesAreGone Really sorry to hear that, but well done for recognising your destructive food behaviours and refusing to give in to them!
@Addidas I would eat the lunch and enjoy it and see if you can skip breakfast and then you will hopefully be too full for dinner but if not you can have something light.

I’ve done ok today food wise but been at fireworks and had 2 glasses of mulled wine and a cider! Trying to resist the crisps!
I think I need to find a balance between going completely off plan and still enjoying my life. I was 3 pounds down this morning on day 6 so hopefully I’ve not undone that.

@Chunkymonkey123 great loss!! It’s so hard having that balance I can’t do it! So have practically nothing social on this month so I can focus on this. I managed to find a scallop dish which seems def low carb and I reckon apart from the butter it’s cooked in not too bad cal wise. Going to have a few nuts and spoons of yoghurt for my brekkie that and then smoked salmon and egg for dinner. I must not break!!!!!!

will weigh tmrw but suspect I may be up / the same given yest off plan eating! But next Thursday at weigh in I WILL be lighter!

Hi all, I spoke to the samaritans last night and that was really helpful in sorting through my feelings. I was able to tell them how I am feeling afraid about my job and also be honest about where I went off track. I just need to rebuild now...although it's not rebuilding, it's refining what has worked. That's why I come back to things like Fast 800. Lovely Samaritans, that's what they are there for.

I weighed in at 9 13.8 today, so I am still under 10stone and only put on 0.4lb. My etsy calendar arrived 😍 so I need to draw up a little plan, exciting. I'm feeling better that I have cut out people that were actually draining me for now.

Gosh I just checked my finances and they are in a bit of a mess too. Another thing to add to the list to sort out over the next few months. Right I am changing things. I'm not going to let so many things go in future. The key thing is that I lost the weight I needed to lose...I then massively overspent on a holiday and clothes as ways of celebrating...don't make my mistake lol. I am keeping the weight off, I am back to what I was aged 25. I am now going to embed a healthy diet, exercise routine, sort work out and get my finances in order, and I need to do these with deadlines in mind i.e. March for finances and December for everything else. On the plus side I have a car now and this is my freedom.

@MistySkiesAreGone I’m glad you’re starting to feel on top of things and you’re getting help when you need it. Sounds like you’re doing great but remember to be kind to yourself and don’t try to do everything all at once.
Today I have been fine food wise (bacon and eggs for lunch. Chicken for dinner) but had wine again 🤦‍♀️. Done day 7 of yoga though. Weigh in tomorrow, will report here.

I was meant to work yesterday but went out in the car and bought a coat and ordered winter boots, which I do need and it was £170 altogether. If the boots work the only thing I need for winter is a scarf.

I had a good sleep and am in bed and about to get up and face the day. It's raining and has been raining so much lately. So grateful to have a car or I'd feel so boxed in.

I'm 9st 13.2. Not sure how that happened.
