Sounds nice Bez. When is the wild swim bonfire?

Very long work day yesterday so it was a write off. Class early this morning. Busy weekend but I'm hoping to get down for a sea swim this evening after the sunseeking bank holiday visitors thin out. Probably another rest day tomorrow as its my mums birthday.

Next Sunday if my kit arrives in time - I've only ordered some cheap swim shoes, a rash top and a poncho towel thing
In summer I have this weird urge to throw myself into any water, and I figured why not Grin so I've joined a group that swim/paddle here then eat cake which seems like my kind of thing

Swim shoes are a great idea. My beach is stoney af and it actually kills to get in without shoes.

I had a great swim yesterday before teaching, felt strong as. Then had a brilliant class (might have been over-coffeenated, I was hyper as anything) - and dipped again after.
I'm off for a lunchtime swim shortly - it was full moon low tide at dawn this morning, there's not enough water for a decent swim until mid tide.

Lovely wee swim yesterday at lunchtime, was high tide and I stayed in 12 minutes. I think I'll squeeze into the fancy wetsuit on Saturday and do a Big Swim, see where I'm at.

55 days. A good bit behind where I thought I'd be at 5 months but I'll be sportsing the sport a lot in the next months. My initial target was 200, doubt I'll get there, more like 150 I guess.

Swim at lunchtime today. I'm quite sore after last night's class so I didn't go too hard. Plus the pool was packed and the water was oddly low which really threw me off for some reason Confused

@MotherForkinShirtBalls yeah that must have been weird, would put me off too!

I got in yesterday and had a quick swim at lunchtime. I am still getting a feel for the water and playing around with technique. Same again today.
I also have planned to do my Simplistic Mobility Method initial run through for the last two weeks, but finding time is murder. Today isn't great either - I'm doing drop off then pickup, then it's basically playground, dinner bed. We'll see, maybe I can squeeze it in today while working from home.

Yeah I'm not where I thought I'd be either Bez. Can't see me reaching 200, but considering I am doing 100% more than I was pre-covid, I'm happy with where I'm at.

I had been optimistic that I might get to 250 this year but I think 200 is much more realistic. I keep reminding myself that any day of exercise is better than a day of none.

One planned rest day (work) and one unplanned (very tired) but made it to my gym class this morning. Got up to 45kg on my deadlift and 20kg on bench press which was a lovely bonus. Can still only manage 2kg on lat raises though. Stupid shoulder.

Swim just after dawn today, taught BodyCombat then had a stretch before a cooling dip.

Yesterday was gardening, very much counting that. Today I taught my class, went great, so sweaty!
I asked my gym if they would like to discuss me teaching Boxercise as a gym class and they were like "nah, we need to grow the gym before spending more on classes". Quite a short discussion, but OK that's clear.
I have stopped by the social club to talk a out setting up a Boxercise class there. It's a fun program and would work great for people who aren't members of a gym.

I have been lazy the last couple of days and also managed to re-hurt my bloody arm lifting shopping from the boot of my car yesterday. Tricep area this time 🙄

Did day 3 of Arise which luckily was legs and glutes. I now look like this Angry

That looks gorgeous, bonfire, and boxercise sounds fun Bez. I don't know how you fit so much in! I hope your arm is ok again soon, Roonetta. It's so frustrating when it feels like an injury isn't getting better.

Weekend was a write off, I had exams on Saturday and a migraine yesterday. Still feeling hungover from it today so I just did a short swim.

nice! I'm planning on a swim after Body Attack tonight (one of the other instructors teaches it). Body Attack may not happen, it's a long way until 6:30 but it's so far pencilled in.

Gym class this morning. Managed to squat with 32.5kg which wasn't too bad. We are heading away for a few days tomorrow. There will be a manic amount of steps each day so I don't expect any actual exercise to be done too.

Today I did a dawnie at high tide 6:30am and another at low 2.15pm just before running off to pick up DD.
