I’m having a rest day because I’m feeling wiped out after yesterday’s vaccination.

I remember that leg workout Roonetta . I really like RDLs though ! One of my favourites. Hope you feel ok after your booster and hope you're feeling better now oubliette.

Did you find your mojo today MotherForkin?

5km interval run today plus the today's days of Christmas workout (a 12 mins dead bug workout).

Days exercised 256

roonetta · 16/12/2021 12:16

Sorry to hear that Oubliette. I've just had the Moderna, which one did you have? Hope you feel better soon.

I found so many RDLs tough on my lower back Sophie. My form may not have been very good Confused. Happier today with a 20 minute arm and shoulder workout. I thought about doing something different as didn't want to make my jabbed arm worse, but it feels okay at the moment.

Days exercised 208

OublietteBravo · 16/12/2021 12:36

I’m absolutely fine today. Even my arm doesn’t hurt.

(I had Pfizer)

Mojo is still awol, Sophie, but I made myself do a short loop of my hill run and I felt good after it (despite thinking I'd die half way round Blush).

SophieLion · 17/12/2021 07:54

RDLs can hurt my back* too Roonetta* if I do too many or heavy weight. As I've got stronger, I find my lower back hurts much less. I really focus on pulling my core in too - it seems to help

Sympathise with the running MotherForkin as I always feel I won't make it! And you do uphill - I do totally flat now due to my bad knee. Hill runs are hardcore 👏🏻👏🏻

Days 2 (full body dumbbell) and 3 (abs and core) of the days of Christmas.

Days exercised 257

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 18/12/2021 15:25

I keep the hill runs short for a reason, Sophie! My legs and bum were aching after Thursday's run Blush. I find form really important on RDLs too. It's so easy to round your back without noticing which always leads to aches for me.

I had an iffy belly yesterday so stuck to dog walks. Today I got my booster jab! I went for a run straight afterwards, before I get any symptoms (I was completely exhausted for a few days after the second one).

SophieLion · 19/12/2021 10:50

5km fartlek run plus day 18 of the girvan advent calendar (glutes).

Days exercised 258

OublietteBravo · 19/12/2021 13:32

After a couple of rest days (socialising). I did KAbs L3D18 (30 min) yesterday.

Advent calendar day 7 (legs. This was the RDL and squat workout you did recently Roonetta. I thought I'd done it but I hadn't!) and today's workout (upper body).

Hope you're doing ok after your booster MotherForkin.

KB&T L1D21 & KAbs L1D19 (70 min). Ooof - that was a tough one!

I'll feeling fine after my booster, thanks Sophie (well, sore arm but nothing worse), but the finished-up-work-for-Christmas-collapse has hit hard! Took a couple of days' rest so I'll be back on it tomorrow.

SophieLion · 21/12/2021 07:36

Vinyasa yoga session with Tim (you tube!). Got my booster today so hope I will feel ok after.

I do admire you for very often doing two workouts in a row Oubliette. Now when I do 2 of the girvan 20 minute ones, I often feel de-motivated at the start of the second one as I feel like I'm starting all over again. Does that make sense?

roonetta · 21/12/2021 13:45

Hooray we are all boosted! I also felt fine after mine Sophie albeit a sore arm but that went quite quickly.

I've had a few rest days; it's really busy here at the moment.

Managed to squeeze in a 20 minute full body Girvan workout today

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 21/12/2021 16:30

I had a short but enjoyable run/walk/sniff with the dog this morning before going to see Santa. 🎅

OublietteBravo · 21/12/2021 19:57

I hope you feel OK after your booster @SophieLion.

I do find it difficult to do a second DVD. The switch over point is key - as long as I get the second DVD playing without stopping I’m OK.

Dropped the kids to school for their last day (morning) and took the dog for a tramp round where I go for my hill run, in lashing rain. It was surprisingly refreshing Grin and he found me some new paths! I really wanted to do a sunrise and sunset swim this week but the weather is and forecast to continue foul so I'm not sure I'll manage it. Nearly time to collect them again...

roonetta · 22/12/2021 12:13

The time between drop off and pick up certainly flies by Motherforkin. Your DC have broken up quite late which I think is much better. Mine have been off since Friday and the excitement is reaching fever pitch.

Hope you are feeling okay today Sophie.

I have only managed once to do 2 consecutive workouts. I can't bring myself to do it again Grin

Girvan 20 minute upper body circuits done.

KB&T L1D23 & KAbs L3D19 (70 min). It’s so much easier to fit in exercise when I’m not at work!

70 Mins of exercise is impressive oubliette!
I don't know how you do it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I remember quite liking that upper body circuits Roonetta* - did you?
*
Thank you for the wishes. I didn't feel too good yesterday after my booster so I took the day off yesterday. My arms was killing me (much worse than the previous two doses - did moderna before and Pfizer this time).

Today did the Christmas workouts from two days ago (legs circuits) and yesterday (triceps - at least this was lying down and no push ups!)

Days exercised 261

Ps the walk and sniff with the dog made me laugh MotherForkin!

roonetta · 23/12/2021 13:36

Yes I enjoyed it Sophie. I much prefer upper body workouts. Glad the booster side effects didn't last too long.

Girvan 20 minutes lunge fest. Ouch Shock

Not sure if I will fit any exercise in over the new few days so wishing you all a very Happy Christmas. Eat, drink and be merry! Xmas Wink

SophieLion · 23/12/2021 17:11

Yes I've been avoiding that lunge workout .... lunges aren't my favourite at the best of times. Well done for doing it 👏🏻👏🏻

Happy Christmas to you all!! 🎄❄️🎅🏻🎁

I'm not sure how my exercise will go now. We are supposed to leave for skiing on 27th but I think I may go from there to london instead as I am needed in the uk ..... it just depends how the travel rules go with covid now. Everything is so up in the air. It's really frustrating.

OublietteBravo · 23/12/2021 19:17

Happy Christmas everyone! I’m still hoping to fit in a few more days of exercise in 2021. I’ll see how my motivation holds out.
