I did the tempo week over the summer Roonetta. I remember it being a nice and varied programme.

5km run plus two short lilly sabri abs workouts today.

Actually I was a bit cheeky yesterday Roonetta: I wasn't feeling very motivated so I decided to write down what I would do before I did it so that I would do it! Normally I work out around 830/8:45 just after the school run.

Anyway today I just did (!) Epic 3 day 44 full body giant sets. Again varied and enjoyable. This week of epic 3 has been my favourite week (will see if that still applies after the EMOM day 45!!)

Just finished day 45 EMOM. Awful. She said the sets would alternate between Upper and lower body but actually just seemed to be an awful lot of Burpees with some push-ups thrown in. I'm wrecked.

Epic 3 day 46 push up and abs. Another one I didn't particularly enjoy. But only 4 days left of epic 3!!! The end is in sight....

Realised I really dislike burpees, push ups and Bulgarian lunges.

Epic 3 day 47 lower body giant sets. It was varied so the time passed quickly but she had THREE giant sets of Bulgarian lunges - did not appreciate this....

Agree with you about burpees and Bulgarian lunges Sophie. Two of the most awful exercises there are. I don't mind push ups though, even though I can't do as many as I could when I was exercising every day. It's amazing how quickly the strength goes when you cut back.

I'm feeling a good bit better, Roonetta, thanks. Not 100% but I made myself do a 30 min cardio and legs hiit I dug out from my old trainer's notes not that my high impact was very high, but it was something . I have been walking every day, just to keep moving. It's amazing how once you get used to exercising most days, I miss it the days I don't do anything.

One day left to go for epic 3!!! Have to say I didn't really like epic 3. She also said there would be more focus on the abs/core and there really wasn't. I often had to do add-ons for my abs (even after a full body workout like today).

Forgot to post yesterday. Did a Girvan lower body yesterday and a 2 mile WWL today.

In the 200s is great Roonetta 👏🏻👏🏻** and I think you say an improvement on last year (as girvan says "it's you against you"!! I think my days will be less than last year actually).
I think following a programme and being able to exercise first thing in the morning has really helped me.

I found epic 3 very tough (and therefore quite demoralising in places) and repetitive. It got boring sometimes. I also didn't like the abs issue I mentioned above.

Epic 3 day 50 today. I've finished!!!! Was HIIT pyramid style today and was much more manageable than I had anticipated and passed quickly - thank goodness (probably one of the easiest HIIT workouts of epic 3 actually). Followed up with a girvan abs workout.

Only managed some walking over the weekend but the storm has calmed down enough that I got a dip this evening. It was cold but gorgeous. My running buddy has been out of action (just when I started feeling better) so hopefully we'll get a run tomorrow.

Took the weekend off to rest. Today a 5km interval run (I am so out of shape for running) plus a lower abs workout.

I fancy a bit of a change and variety so will do some more running with perhaps her no repeat week on alternate days and some yoga. I won't do this December daily programme she has.

Good luck for your motivation this week oubliette.

Today did no repeat week day 4 (glutes and hamstrings and abs) plus a good stretch session.

I hadn't realised the December workouts were only 20 mins. So today I did a 5 km interval run plus the 1 December workout (shoulders).

I had a very slow start to the week, finally managed a run this morning which was slow but felt good. If I can finish work at a reasonable time I'm going to try to get down for a swim this afternoon.
