I'm glad you were able to be with her at the end, MsO. It's so hard, isn't it? My bro died last summer and exercise was one of the things that went out of the window, I didn't get back onto it till the start of this year.

Bodyshred week 7 workout 8 done, first time. Marginally less awful than workout 7, there was only one move that I really couldn't do - a wheel push-up. I can't even get into a wheel. I can't work out whether it's because my shoulders are too tight or just that my upper body strength is so pathetic. Cardio tomorrow - I might even get it done as the temperature's dropping.

Days exercised 93.

SophieLion · 18/06/2022 12:40

Fuel day 9 - full body.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 19/06/2022 09:44

Bodyshred week 7 cardio done. I should finish Bodyshred by the end of June unless I have a work catastrophe. Not sure what to do next - I don't think I want to start another long programme over the summer, but it would be a pity to work this hard and then lose a lot of the fitness gains.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 19/06/2022 17:05

Hope you're holding up OK, MsOllie.

Friday and yesterday got away from me so I was out early this month and had a sea dip. It was gorgeous but bracing and I still havent warmed up properly! (And my ass and abs are still sore from Thursday Blush)

SophieLion · 20/06/2022 08:22

5km interval run and fuel day 12 (upper body).

roonetta · 20/06/2022 16:55

Fuel day 9 done. Felt a bit sick after this one Envy

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 20/06/2022 21:25

Oh no, Roonetta, was it the heat or the workout or a combo? Work was very irksome today so I only got finished late. I couldn't face actual exercise so I went for a dip and it was packed. Bloody fair weather swimmers! I had a gorgeous 20 mins bobbing around and feel much better for it. Booked into an early spin class tomorrow.

Days exercised 83.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 21/06/2022 09:00

Bodyshred week 7 workout 7, second time. Six more workouts and I'm done with Bodyshred. Just as well, I can't do half these moves. (And five different kinds of push-up in one workout is just cruel anyway.)

Days exercised 95.

roonetta · 21/06/2022 16:54

I think it was a combination of both Motherforkin topped with working out on an empty stomach.

Well done Professor! Some of the moves are crazy and just asking for injuries. Maybe once you're done with Bodyshred, you could restart Body Revolution but just do each workout consecutively, rather than a week of the same workouts. I remember doing this and enjoyed it.

Fuel day 10. Another killer, and the heat is definitely not helping.

Forgot to add my days yesterday so 93 for then and 94 today Grin

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 21/06/2022 16:55

I didn't even know there are 5 kinds of press ups Professor 😳

I got to spin this morning despite really not wanting to.

Days exercised 84

SophieLion · 22/06/2022 11:36

I sympathise Roonetta. I did day 10 today too! I felt a bit sick after today. It was tough and it's hot here - even with AC on was sweating loads. And even I would like a sea dip now MotherForkin!! Sounds idyllic. I'm a fair weather swimmer 😆

Your body shred sounds hard professor. I find it frustrating when I do workouts and can't manage half the moves.

Fuel day 10 - dumbbell higher intensity. Was faced paced and tough. Did a short abs workout afterwards.

MsOllie · 22/06/2022 20:32

Hoping to get back on the bike end of the week. Doctors have given me some sleeping tablets

SophieLion · 23/06/2022 07:12

I found exercise helped me Ollie. Enabled me to switch off for a bit.

Fuel day 13 glutes and hamstrings. Didn't particularly enjoy this because I didn't like the staple (sumo deadlifts).

Days exercised 117

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 23/06/2022 09:18

Bodyshred week 7 workout 8, second time. On to week 8 now, should be done by the end of June.

I sold Body Rev on Ebay, roonetta: I couldn't face doing it again! I might alternate Yoga Inferno and the Killer Abs workouts till I work out what I'm going to do in the longer term.

Go gently and see how you feel, MsO. We're all different, I couldn't face exercise for a while. (But I hate it and view it as a dreary chore, I do accept that other people feel more positive about it!)

Days exercised 96.

MsOllie · 23/06/2022 09:25

@ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson I'm not a huge fan before exercise but I always feel great after! Although it's meant to be burning hot today so it might be tomorrow as my first day back
Back to work today too

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 23/06/2022 15:14

Very hot and heavy weather today...it would be perfect for a sea swim but I don't have time! I did get an early spin class in though.

I hope the exercise helps a bit MsO, both with the endorphins and to help you sleep.

Days exercised 85

roonetta · 23/06/2022 17:13

Sending love MsO Flowers

Grin at selling Body Rev Professor.

Skipped Fuel day 11 as the last few have been leg heavy and my poor legs haven't quite recovered. Did day 12 upper body instead.

Days exercised 95

SophieLion · 23/06/2022 20:31

I also skipped day 11 Roonetta as there are a lot of leg days in Fuel I think and I'm also trying to do a bit more running. Might go back to it.

You're not alone Ollie: the best part of exercise for me is always when I've just finished! Hope back to work goes ok abs you sleep a bit better too Flowers

SophieLion · 24/06/2022 07:02

Good luck with the rest of Body Shred Professor 🍀

Couldn't face Fuel today and more legs... so did two of the Christmas workouts: shoulders and arms and an abs and core one.

Days exercised 118

ILikeHotWaterBottles · 24/06/2022 08:53

Week two of exercising and managed to beat a few of the exercises I was doing last week. Not much at the moment, but at least it's an increase.

roonetta · 24/06/2022 13:39

Fuel is definitely more leg focused Sophie. I miss the upper body workouts. I think I will have a go at Iron after Fuel. Lots of people on Facebook raving about it. How did you find it?

Well done WaterBottle. Are you doing mostly strength at the gym or classes?

Did day 11 Fuel today and it was nice and gentle compared to the other Fuel workouts.

Days exercised 96

SophieLion · 25/06/2022 11:16

Great you're improving and getting fitter ilikehotwaterbottles 👏🏻👏🏻

I really liked Iron Roonetta. It's all strength based (no HIIT/cardio days) and she lifts much heavier weights. I think I got much stronger and could see changes on my body. Preferred it to Fuel (which I think doesn't have enough upper body). You should definitely try Iron!

Rest day today - my underbutt (ha ha) still hurts after the glutes and hamstrings session the other day.

SophieLion · 25/06/2022 11:16

Also the iron workouts are 30 mins too.

MsOllie · 25/06/2022 12:41

I'm back on antibiotics GrinHmm you couldn't make it up. And for some reason they're making me really sick (co amoxiclav)
Breast abscess this time Hmm
Feels like the world conspires sometimes to make me not exercise

ILikeHotWaterBottles · 25/06/2022 16:05

I ended up doing two days in a row due to a bad day this week, which was a mistake. Was very sore after and felt sick. Feel fine now, but I'm clearly being a fool and trying to increase too quickly, like I knew I would. This is why I need a PT, I'm an idiot. 😂But I'll go again on Sunday, I feel fine today, just need to take it easy and not do 2 days in a row.
