I'm very achy! It's crazy really
I went from no exercise for a few years to 45 min 10 mile ride in about 9 weeks
Can't wait to see what I can achieve in 6 months

Eating was a bit better yesterday - only snuck in a few biscuits in the evening. And a glass of wine!

Today iron day 8 (glutes and hamstrings - they're still wobbling) and a 10 mins ab workout (which also felt really tough).

Oof, you're all doing so well! I was completely wiped out at the end of last week, actually ended up napping on Friday, Saturday and Sunday which is something I never do, so I took it very easy just did a low impact legs thing on Saturday. I'm off work this week and I managed to walk 25k steps yesterday. I'm going to do a core thing today.

Thanks for joining me on the healthy eating Sophie and Professor (my muscles are also hiding somewhere I'm certain of it). I have done well up until now, but it has only been a few days.😁

Forgot to post my workout yesterday which was Iron series upper body and a 2 mile WWL. Also went to the theatre so that was more walking and managed to clock up over 11,000 steps (which is not as impressive as your 25k steps Motherforkin! )

Girvan calisthenics, bodyweight only leg day today. Ouch! Almost gave up at 40% but kept on going. I won't be able to walk tomorrow.

Did iron day 9 today (full body) and a short Lily sabri abs. That's week 2 of iron finished (I'd done day 10 a while ago).

Very impressive improvement, MrO, well done. I am the exact opposite to you, I tried running this morning and it was like dragging sandbags around with me. My running buddy is back in action after covid so we have agreed to get onto a proper routine and try to do some sort of boot camp class to kick start us. On the up side, I've done 18k steps today, so I'm going to sit and knit for the afternoon.

I’m currently having some enforced rest days as I have a huge piece of work to do and an extremely tight deadline. Hopefully back early next week.

Bodyshred week 2 cardio done. Ugh. The really awful thing is that next week cardio day will be the easy one.

I had an unplanned rest day yesterday as I worked late and crawled home, knackered and starving, after 9, and just couldn’t postpone food while I did Jillian. Healthy eating on track for now, though - I’m typing this while fending the cat off my plate of mozzarella and tomato salad. Planned rest day tomorrow, I’m at the theatre.

My hip flexors are very tight after so much walking this week, so I just did a reasonable hill walk this morning and I'll do some stretching later.

Thank you Roonetta. Yes Jillian is super motivating - I found it really odd at the start with girvan as she doesn't speak at all.

Rest day yesterday and today Iron day 11 (legs). Enjoyed this as very varied so didn't get bored. Plus a girvan 10 mins unbroken abs workout. Also really like this because lots of variety.

Bodyshred week 2 workout 2, second time. Which leaves me no excuse to put off starting week 3 tomorrow. I'm scared of workouts 3 and 4, I got to them this time last year and had to modify about half the moves. And workout 4 had burpee variations in every cardio interval, which just seemed vicious.

Been out cycling today. Think we did 22km. Have the worst saddle sore. Do you get saddle sore on the peloton?
