Need to get on the bike tonight, someone prod me Grin
Going to try another 30 min ride

SophieLion · 18/03/2022 17:51

GET ON YOUR BIKE
NOW
*Pawpaws!!
*
(Was that enough of a prod?!)

But seriously, do it, you'll feel so much better afterwards. You won't regret exercising but you might regret not exercising.

pawpaws2022 · 18/03/2022 18:09

Just scraped a new PB Halo
Legs like bloody jelly now!

Can you please come and shout at me in the morning, Sophie 😆

Shoulder is sore this evening, I think the local anesthetic is wearing off and I started doing some of my physio exercises yesterday. I have to give it 8 weeks to see how it's worked and then go back it the physio hasn't improved it.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 19/03/2022 10:07

RI30 L1D3 done. Bored now. Will do it once more then switch to L2 (which is my nemesis and I hate with a passion).

Anterior deltoids are exercised with shoulders, Sophie. Jillian loves side lunges with front raises: they're in the Shred and in RI30, and I can't do them with anything heavier than 2 kg because I'm just too feeble.

Star, Pawpaws, both for the PB and for getting on with the exercise when you didn't want to! It's hard, and it's boring, but it's for our own good.

Sorry your shoulder's sore, Motherforkin. Hope the physio starts to have an effect.

Days exercised 45. I can just fit in 10 more before the end of March, but I'll have to be disciplined about doing it on weekdays. The other possibility is to take a Jillian DVD on our holiday in the Lakes and clock some up while we're away, so I'm not losing as much time as I expected during the Easter break: it's bound to rain for at least some of the time.

pawpaws2022 · 19/03/2022 12:25

Day off today as my throat is really sore. Going to catch up with cooking and cleaning and get on the bike tomorrow

SophieLion · 20/03/2022 15:24

I'll shout at anyone!Grin* Good luck with the shoulder. I really hope it all works out MotherForkin* 🍀

I find raises can be quite hard and always need lower weights than other shoulder exercises professor. Understand which muscles you mean now ! Thanks for explanation. Oh and I don't like side lunges much either!

Hope you feel better soon pawpaws Thanks

Endgame day 40 dumbbell HIIT today. Was quite a nice workout because it wasn't ridiculously hard (which I anticipate the next week's EMOM will be....)

Days exercised 58

SophieLion · 21/03/2022 07:00

Endgame day 41 quads and calves. Really boring. I find the lower body workouts where she splits into calves and quads or hamstrings and glutes are boring and repetitive and always the same exercises.

Days exercised 59

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 21/03/2022 15:57

A shameful weekend due to 2 bank holidays and an essay to finish Blush (and *Sophie didn't start shouting until yesterday afternoon, so it's all her fault Grin)

Good start this morning with a 5km walk and a core and legs hiit.

Days exercised 35.

SophieLion · 21/03/2022 19:13

Oh yes belated happy St Patrick's Day MotherForkin ☘️☘️ I've got quite a few Irish friends here so should have remembered.

And my sincerest apologies for the delay in shouting Wink but it sounds like you did pretty well today without any shouting GrinGrin

SophieLion · 22/03/2022 08:43

Endgame day 42 upper body today.

Days exercised 60

roonetta · 22/03/2022 12:33

Belated happy St Patrick's Day MotherForkin Smile. Hope your shoulder is feeling easier.

Not many more to go until you finish Endgame Sophie. Any plans on what you might do next? You have absolutely smashed your exercise goals this year Star

Walk to/from work Thurs, Fri and Mon. Girvan back and biceps done today.

My diet has really deteriorated recently and I can see the weight going back on, especially around my middle. I am not sure I will ever get back to how I was during the pandemic when I had more time to exercise. Sad times Sad

Days exercised 42

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 22/03/2022 19:48

Thanks, unfortunately I didn't get to drink even a green milkshake on 17th! Next year...

I hear you about food, Roonetta, I feel like I'm living on sugar at the moment. I really need to start back to my 8/16 fasting.

Shorter than planned run this evening. Turns out my new sports bra is not up to the job. Hmm

Days exercised 36

roonetta · 23/03/2022 11:34

Grin at the sports bra Motherforkin - sadly I have fried eggs so never had to worry about that. Annoyingly, it's always the first place the weight comes off Hmm

Girvan "Strength and Sweat" full body workout. She wasn't wrong about the sweat part. This is what my face currently looks like Angry

Days exercised 43

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 23/03/2022 18:41

Ah, I'd love to get away without buttressing on a run, Roonetta!

Old reliable bra and longer run this morning.

Days exercised 37.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 23/03/2022 20:57

RI30 L1D4 done. The motivation has gone this week. Sophie, you put me completely to shame.

MotherForkin, I feel your pain on the sports bras. I’m a FF cup, I can’t do anything high-impact without serious scaffolding.

I’m also struggling with diet, roonetta. I need to lose a few pounds - just vanity, and to make my waistbands a bit more comfortable, rather than health - and I obviously don’t want to lose them enough because I fall off the wagon every time I have dinner with friends and every weekend. I love food, that’s the trouble.

Days exercised 46. I should make it to 50 this month, which is less than I planned but still keeps me on target for the year.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 24/03/2022 09:14

RI30 L2D1 done. Aaargh. A whole cardio circuit in plank, and crow push-ups.

Days exercised 47.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 24/03/2022 09:14

Are you feeling better, Pawpaws?

SophieLion · 24/03/2022 10:53

managed 66% of endgame day 43 (glutes and hamstrings) today before I got an unexpected phone call and then had to stop as flight to catch. Was a totally boring workout and far too many sumo squat deadlifts for my liking.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 24/03/2022 11:01

Safe travels Sophie.

Professor how the hell do you do a whole cardio circuit in plank??

My running buddy is back after covid so we took it easy this morning and did 5k alternating jogging and walking.

Days exercised 38

OublietteBravo · 24/03/2022 19:13

Hello 👋

After weeks of being pathetic I finally squeezed together sufficient motivation to exercise today. Just a short session - although I imagine I'll ache tomorrow. Ri30 L1D3 (34 min)

Days exercised: 34

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 24/03/2022 22:36

Hi Oubliette Smile lovely to see you back.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 25/03/2022 09:03

Good to see you back, Oubliette!

RI30 L2D2 done. Motherforkin, it's only a 2-minute circuit - plank jacks, mountain climbers and repeat. I can just about do it if I take the weight off my wrists for a couple of seconds between sets (and I must have got fitter since the beginning of the year because I certainly couldn't have done it in January). And mercifully it's in circuit 1, so it's out of the way early - I struggled with KA L3 because circuits 3 and 4 had all the awful moves in.

Sophie, I don't think I've ever done a sumo squat deadlift, but I can't do sumo squats properly - my hips are very tight and I can't turn out enough.

Days exercised 48.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 26/03/2022 10:00

RI30 L2D3 done.

Days exercised 49.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 27/03/2022 13:24

RI30 L2D4 done. Planned rest day tomorrow (I'm always rubbish when the clocks go forward) and on Tuesday. Will do L2 one more time and then move on to L3 towards the end of the week.

Days exercised 50.
