Actually it feels a lot better today MotherForkin. I'm not sure if it was pulled or just spasming.

Today did a cat Meffan yoga flow and a girvan abs and then did the full 20 minute girvan stretch. Felt like my body needed a good stretch as I'm quite lazy when it comes to stretching Blush

Days exercised 36

roonetta · 21/02/2022 11:55

Glad your back is better Sophie. What weights are you upping to?

I tested positive on Saturday and have felt pretty rough since Thursday. Tiredness seems to have gone, as is the cough but my nose feels swollen and blocked, even though there is no snot. Did anyone else have this? It is really annoying Confused

Did a small WWL today, only 1 mile as I have been sat around and felt the need to move.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 21/02/2022 20:43

KA L1D4 done. I’ll do it once more and then move on to L2 to try to stave off boredom. (Yes, it’s Killer Abs. Bit of a funny one, I quite like that it doesn’t have much cardio, and last time I did it I got the closest I’ve ever been to having a six-pack,but it’s relentlessly plank-y and also a bit focused on plugging stuff, there’s a weird extra which turns out to be an ad for toothbrushes.)

Sorry to hear you’ve tested positive, roonetta; wishing you a speedy recovery. Glad your back is feeling better, Sophie. I’m rubbish at stretching too, I should probably do more.

SophieLion · 22/02/2022 13:10

Oh no Roonetta- wish you a speedy recovery and hope you don't get too many symptoms Thanks

Did a 7km interval run today and some lilly sabri abs workouts. Then did a very short cat Meffan yoga for runners session (only 10 mins but was a great stretch). It's nice having a little more time available for exercise.

Days exercised 37

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 22/02/2022 17:28

Hope you're on the mend soon, Roonetta.

Hope your absence is nothing more than your digital avoidance willpower, @OublietteBravo.

I did a shorter but slightly faster run yesterday and a very plodding 5k today.

Days exercised 24.

SophieLion · 23/02/2022 10:14

Yes MotherForkin, I was thinking the same about oubliette. Hope all ok.

Bit of a mix for me today. Did a cat Meffan mandala yoga session (one of my favourites) plus a girvan abs workout and then a girvan arms and shoulders.

Days exercised 38

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 23/02/2022 13:32

Slow 5km plus 15 mins squats.

Days exercised 25

SophieLion · 24/02/2022 10:17

Epic endgame day 25 - kickboxing. I found this much easier than her other HIITs which makes me feel I did something wrong! Was also very enjoyable. Plus a girvan abs workout.

Hope Roonetta is ok too with the covid Thanks

roonetta · 24/02/2022 12:40

Ooh a Kickboxing one sounds interesting Sophie. I might look that one up.

Thanks for the good wishes ladies. I am feeling much better, although still struggling with my sinuses. I haven't done any exercise apart from 1 paltry mile on Monday, partially because I have been recovering and partially because I was catching up with work having taken a couple of sick days. I will get back to it properly next week, although I am back in the office for 3 days from then Sad. I will have to see how things go.

I also hope all is okay with @OublietteBravo

SophieLion · 25/02/2022 10:17

Glad you're feeling better Roonetta and hope the sinuses sort themselves out soon too. I think the kickboxing was harder than it appeared as I felt quite wrecked later. But I also walked a lot and up and down a very steep hill.

Today a 7km fartlek run plus a girvan's abs and core workout. Rest day tomorrow as travelling home.

Days exercised 40

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 25/02/2022 19:19

KA L1D5 done. It’s been a rubbish week, been out of the house for 12+ hours for the last three days so didn’t fit any exercise in. Will move up to L2 tomorrow.

Sophie, I’m in awe; I could no more run 7k than fly to the moon, let alone do more exercise on top of it!

Glad you’re feeling a bit better, roonetta.

Days exercised 32.

SophieLion · 26/02/2022 07:37

Hope next week is better for you exercise-wise professor.

I used to run quite a bit so it's not like I'm doing 5 or 7km out of nowhere. I also like the endorphins I get from running. The abs and core wasn't a long one - 10 mins. But even 5 or 10 mins a few days a week makes such a different to my abs.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 26/02/2022 10:01

KA L2D1 done. Oof. Four different kinds of push-ups, plus quite a lot of combination moves that are challenging to people like me with zero co-ordination.

Days exercised 33. I should just about get to 35 by the end of the month if nothing derails me. Then aiming to get at least 20, preferably more, done in March to allow for Easter holidays.

SophieLion · 27/02/2022 12:10

I hope you meet your exercise target professor 🍀

Endgame day 24 - full body complexes. Finished week 5 now so halfway through. I slept very badly so my weights felt about 100kg each and the workout seemed to take forever. The workout was varied so I think it was just tiredness that made me not enjoy it so much.

Days exercised 41

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 27/02/2022 15:30

KA L2D2 done.

Commiserations on the poor sleep, Sophie. I feel your pain; we watched a Harry Potter film yesterday and DD had nightmares and climbed in with me at 1 a.m. Not good, for someone so small she takes up an enormous amount of space, and she wriggles.

Days exercised 34.

SophieLion · 28/02/2022 08:50

Endgame day 26 chest and triceps. Didn't like this. Far too repetitive as so many push ups. Did an abs workout before the finisher (100 cobra push ups) as I knew I would never stand a chance at the finisher otherwise.

Days exercised 42

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 28/02/2022 12:35

100 of any type of push ups sounds horrific Sophie! As does wriggling semi sleeping child, Professor. Ds is 9 and almost as tall as me and if he ever has to get in beside me it's impossible to sleep. His body temperature is set to molten lava and he doesn't stop moving! Hope you're still on the mend Roonetta.

I was away for the weekend for dh's birthday so I ate, drank and slept instead of exercising! It made my run this morning tough going Blush I think I forgot to update a session on Thursday so adding that today too.

Days exercised 27.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 28/02/2022 13:50

KA L2D3 done. Owwww. I'm with MotherForkin, 100 of any kind of push-up sounds horrendous. Not to mention impossible. There are four different kinds of push-ups in KA L2 (eight sets of 30 seconds each) and I can't do all of those properly even though there are other exercises in between.

DD now has Covid so we're looking at a week off school (and therefore more home-working than usual for me, which at least has the small silver lining that it will be easier to work out).

Days exercised 35.

SophieLion · 01/03/2022 06:33

I hope oubliette is ok. She hasn't posted for ages which isn't like her. Has anyone heard from her?

Sorry to hear about your DD professor. I hope she won't get it too badly and wish her a speedy recovery.

Yes the cobra push ups took me ages to get through 100 of them....

SophieLion · 01/03/2022 09:18

Well done - you made it to 35 days professor! 👏🏻

Endgame day 27 lower body plus a 10 mins girvan braced abs and core workout.

pawpaws2022 · 01/03/2022 10:34

Can I join in? I'm actually allergic to exercise (I come out in hives genuinely!)
But I'm trying sweat therapy and have bought a peloton

roonetta · 01/03/2022 11:09

100 cobra push ups deserves several stars Sophie StarStarStarStar - that's amazing!

Sorry to hear about your DD Professor. Hope she doesn't feel too ill and gets well soon Flowers. Also well done on 35 days! Star

Well done persevering with the runs Motherforkin. Sounds like your weekend away was just what the doctor ordered Grin

I've not heard anything from Oubliette either Sophie. Here's hoping she is just busy and forgetting to post her progress.

Welcome pawpaw - would be lovely if you joined us Smile

Walked to and from work yesterday and Girvan full body workout today.

Days exercised 29

pawpaws2022 · 01/03/2022 11:36

I'm really unfit Blush
But I got the peloton 3 days ago and have done a beginners 20 min class every day so far

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 01/03/2022 16:17

Hello paws Smile. Peloton sounds terrifying to me, I did some spin classes a million years ago and they were brutal. Well done for doing three in a row!

Hope your dd is ok, Professor and it either spreads really quickly or not at all through the house!

I'm planning a slow jog/sniff intervals with the dog while the kids are at football later. If I post it now, I have to do it...

Days exercised 28

SophieLion · 02/03/2022 09:49

Hello pawpaws Smile yes please join us. How does sweat therapy work?

Thanks Roonetta. Are you all fully over covid now?

You made me laugh at the "sniff intervals" with the dog MotherForkin GrinGrin

Endgame day 28 today - biceps, back and abs.
