Yes, Professor, I had covid over Christmas. You're probably right, my chest still isn't clear (I had bronchitis on top/after) so that is most likely hitting my energy. It's just frustrating not to be able to do anything and too easy not to push myself!

5km walk (with some running bits) today.

30DS L3 D9 done - I am at least on track to finish before going away. (Plane leaves tomorrow afternoon, will do the final session tomorrow morning.) Unfortunately I have no willpower about food at the moment and I'm about 10 lb over my normal weight, hoping it doesn't get worse on holiday.

Shock at 100 Bulgarian lunges! I don't have KB&T so have been spared them so far. I Googled them after I saw your post, Sophie, and they look terrible.

30DS L3D10 done. Pleased that I’ve seen the last of the Shred for a while! Now on holiday till the middle of next week (though I’ll believe we’re actually going abroad when the plane takes off and not before).

I think I’ll move on to Killer Abs when I get back (working through a few of the JM DVD collection before I tackle Bodyshred).

That sounds like a good workout MotherForkin- who was it? I mean the instructor.

I skipped endgame day 19 (will do tomorrow) and did day 20 (dumbbell HIIT). This went surprisingly quickly and I enjoyed it (although a lot of squats).

It's just a finisher I used to do with my PT, Sophie. It's 10 mins of 50s work and 10s rest alternating legs and cardio/core. I either do it a few times or add other bits in the same pattern. It's a miserable cold evening so I didn't go outside and just did a 20 min legs version (I tell myself it's because I don't like doing cardio indoors, but really, I'm lazy!) And I did a lot of flatpack construction today so my shoulders were well used.

Long day of driving tomorrow (7 hours) so I'm unlikely to get more than 100 steps done.

Well done Motherforkin. Flat pack construction is definitely its own workout Grin. Hope the drive wasn't too bad.

My DS had a dreaded positive test today, so that's him at home now until after the half term. He is okay, but full of a cold, so I am keeping everything crossed that the rest of us don't get it. Luckily we didn't have anything planned over half term.

I am therefore working from home until he is negative as the office don't want us in if anyone in our family is positive. Did a 2 mile boosted WWL today to make up for the fact I wasn't walking to/from the office.

Despite 7 hours sitting, I'm counting today as an exercise day as I've done 10,000 steps! I ended up getting the train as I was too tired to drive so had a mile walk each way from station to venue carrying half my office laptop etc. Which would have been fine only everything ran late and I ended up literally running to the train station and getting there after the train doors were shut! The station master very kindly let me on and I didn't have to wait 3 hours on a drafty platform for the next train home.

Hope your ds isn't too unwell Roonetta. Will he be isolating in the house or are you living dangerously? (We didn't isolate and the 9yo still hasn't got it)

Sorry to hear about your DS Roonetta. Hope he doesn't feel too unwell and that the rest of you don't get it. My DS spent the weekend with a friend who subsequently tested positive. So far DS is negative but we're just waiting.

Didn't exercise yesterday as had slept awfully and was too tired. Today went back to endgame day 19 - full body. Was fast paced and varied. Finished week 4 now.

Glad you made the train Motherforkin. Great step count! My DS won't be isolating (although my DD is using the opportunity to avoid him as much as possible) Grin. He is feeling right out of it today and is literally just laying around. Hopefully he will turn a corner tomorrow. Hoping the rest of us end up like your 9 year old Smile

Fingers crossed your DS doesn't get it Sophie. When is half term in Greece? Well done on finishing week 4! Is it another 10 week programme?

Only managed a 20 minute chest and triceps and 1 mile WWL today. Waiting on DS as well as working doesn't leave much time for myself.

How is DS Roonetta? Half term next week for us. So far my DS is still negative and going to school. And yes endgame is 10 weeks. It's her last 10 week one. When I've finished this, I will have done all the epics except epic 2 - feel the workouts are just too long. Heat probably My favourite.

Endgame day 21 quads and calves today. (There were A LOT of heel elevated squats.) I actually skipped the calves part as I have a problem with one calf ever since I pulled the muscle a few years ago - working it too much makes it ache (and not in a good way). Also did a girvan lower abs workout.

DS is better today thanks Motherforkin and Sophie. He has been quite poorly up until today and I am glad he is on the mend. No one else testing positive up til now, though I have a tickle in my throat today Confused

I remember the calf exercises on some of her other workouts. They are brutal so you were wise to give them a miss. I wonder what she will do after this one ends if there are no more 10 week programmes.

As DS was better today I managed a 20 minute full body strength + cardio (well she said it was 20 minutes but was more like 25) and a 2 mile WWL which was done by a young man for a change and was a lot faster. Enjoyed it.

I’m back! Can’t quite believe we actually made it to Spain, but we had a great time (ate far too much but also did a lot of walking around). roonetta, glad your DS is on the mend, and Sophie, hope you stay clear of the lurgy!

Killer Abs L1D1 done. Harder than I remember it, I must have been fitter last time.

The tickle in my throat has turned into a really annoying cough and I felt exhausted today, so no exercise for me. Still testing negative so fingers crossed whatever it is doesn't hang around.

Yes WWL is Walking with Leslie Sophie. I like the slower pace of it, much kinder on my joints. Any 'boosted' walks are faster paced. She does have an App but you can get plenty on YouTube. Be warned, she is quite annoying Wink

For some reason I thought WWL was walking outdoors in a normal walking way! It's quite a cardio workout from what I saw. And very enthusiastic people with her Grin

Endgame day 23 (glutes and hamstrings) today. It was ok. Nothing to get excited about. Trying to up my weight a little too.

Is KA Killer abs professor? I've not done that one.

We've come away and I think I've managed to pull (or almost pull) a muscle in my back. It hurts when I breathe deeply and I can't move certain ways. I ran today because I needed the endorphins and actually it was ok with the back - I guess because i wasn't twisting or using that muscle really. Not the most comfortable run though. And definitely no skiing until the pain goes away.

Anyway 7km interval run.

A pulled back muscle sounds sore Sophie, hope it heals quickly.

I've had a combination of tired, lazy and work this week so I've only do two days since I last posted Blush. Back on it properly from tomorrow.
