Ah I hope you're ok cardigans - it is tiring at this time of year when it's so dark and busy getting everything sorted for Xmas.

Day 11 of BR here - I forgot that I am not on shift tomorrow so didn't have to double up today after all and can do Day 12 tomorrow.

It's my work Xmas zoom party tonight Xmas Confused which I'm a bit unsure about really but I'll make the effort! I love an Xmas party normally but not sure it will be the same online as you all have to be in one big conversation rather than mingling with lots of different people. We'll see! Might put a bottle of wine on chill to get me more in the mood for it. WineWine

All being well with getting this vaccine rolled out we can look forward to a more normal Xmas in 2021! Xmas SmileXmas SmileXmas Smile

Ri30 L4D10 & 6W6P L2. That’s definitely enough Ri30 for 2020 (I’ve done 40 days twice over in total).

I really hope Christmas 2021 will be more normal @AlgonquinBay 🤞 - is it wrong to hope for normality by the summer?

Day 13 of BR done and so I move on to Week 3 on Monday! Am quite nervous to be fair  but bring it on!!

Zoom party was okay I guess - we had a nice catch up but not the same is it? Only lasted 50 minutes in the end, so not a huge chunk out of my evening. Finished my bottle of wine afterwards with DH!

What are those stats @OublietteBravo? Is that your total workout time for 2020? ShockShock

Suspect that the flu jag was the reason I was feeling so ropey. Had to take Thursday & Friday 'off' as I felt as weak as a kitten. Thanks for the kind thoughts Algonquin & roonetta.

Back on it this weekend though.

Me again! I feel like a bit of a fraud coming back to this thread, it's been so long since I actually did a JM workout.
In my defence, this is the space I use to workout and as you can see, it's not really accessible. Painters still here till Wednesday..

I'm in Dublin and my brother (& his family) and my husband's brother are in London and we had planned to spend Christmas there and see both. That's obviously not going to happen now, so we're all disappointed but rules are rules. Hope any of you in that area - or any area really - are doing OK.

On a much brighter note, guess who ran a half marathon this morning? (hint, it was me!) Grin

Started at 6am, on my own, my friend bailed on my yesterday, as she hadn't trained. Did it in 2 hours and 5 minutes..
I'm so proud I finished it, as that was my only goal, but now I'm thinking of going again and trying to get sub the 2 hour mark!!

Will definitely take a break over Xmas and then get back to Jillian and running and swimming and all the things that make me feel good... but tired!

Glad you are feeling better cardigans - well done on all your exercising! The Eggnoggin made me laugh (certainly won't be purchasing any of that) and I really do agree with their sentiment at the end Grin

Nice to see you back Tiny Smile - God you must be so fed up of those painters by now. Well done on your half marathon, you absolutely smashed it girl! You are right to be very proud, especially going ahead and doing it on your own! Wow Star - Sorry to hear your Christmas plans have been turned upsidedown. We are okay here as we had already decided it will just be the four of us this year. It's so disappointing for people who had made plans though Sad - hope everyone else's plans haven't been upended.

I’m back after 2 rest days (one planned, one unplanned). Not that I have many more exciting options now that we’re in tier 4. DH and I can’t even go for our planned walk with our neighbours on Christmas Day Sad. Cardio for me this evening: BFBM

So sorry to hear that your Christmas plans have been rent asunder, Tiny & Oubliette. We just have to keep hoping that things will be better in time. It's not knowing when that's so hard.

Go Tiny, you half-marathon Queen! 👑 Blimey, I couldn't dream of even getting out of my bed at 6 a.m., let alone doing such a long run on my tod. And that's a cracking time too - you are my workout hero!

How are you finding Body Shred, roonetta? I had a wee look at it on Bilibili (thank you again for that recommendation - it's so useful) and it seems a lot harder than 30DS & Ri30. 😮

You're well into BR now, Algonquin. Hope week 3 isn't too horrific!

Weather is pants here again, so I had a lovely lazy afternoon with Dr Zhivago and a pot of tea before giving myself a beasting courtesy of Jillian and Leslie. Wish I could get my workouts done earlier in the day, but if procrastinating were an Olympic sport I would definitely win a gold medal...

Sorry to hear you are in Tier 4 Oubliette. I hope you can enjoy your Christmas regardless. I am looking forward to eating what the hell I like and lazing around watching cheesy films.

Body Shred is okay at the moment cardigans. I would say workouts 1 and 2 are definitely no harder than shred or ripped. I will keep you updated on how they progress. I would definitely be competing with you for the gold medal. I really don't know why I delay it because I always feel better afterwards.

Well done Tiny that's a great time to have done on your own, fantastic motivation to be getting out at 6am too! Go you!! It's so hard to have the energy for exercise when everything's upside down so much respect due to you!

So...day 16 today of BR and you are all right, week 3 isn't as bad as I thought! Did the first one yesterday and the second today and I have lived to tell the tale 💪 Am really enjoying it actually. Love Jillian!

I usually do my workouts first thing cardigans otherwise I would never do them - my procrastinating is that bad!! Always finding something else to do with my time Xmas Grin

Best Christmas wishes to all of you, especially those of you in tier 4. We're still in tier 3 but won't be seeing any family over Christmas now. We have some good friends coming over on Christmas Day evening now, which is really nice. I'm working on Boxing Day anyway so it won't be a crazy Christmas Day anyway. It's tough this COVID lark, but I'm really thankful that I have a nice home, my little family are so far safe and well and I still have a job. So tough at the moment for so many.

Feeling a bit Christmassy cardigans but I think that's down to the kids' excitement. Last working day today and then I will be sitting around not doing very much and having a couple of rest days. I loved your positive thoughts Algonquin. I am also extremely thankful that myself and DH both still have our jobs, home and good health. Hopefully 2021 will bring some much needed good news on the vaccine front and one day this shitty year will be a distant memory.
