Hello! I won't be starting till tomorrow too hungover today

Checking in. Kicked mine off with a NYD Park Run. Only 997 miles to go.

Going to spend my afternoon booking myself onto some races, strike while the iron is hot and all that.

If it’s ok, I’d love to join. Hoping this will make me more accountable and less lazy. 🙄Really need to get active again. Changed jobs in 2017 for one with a significant commute and haven’t figured out how to get proper walks and runs into the new routine. 🤔

I’m in! Kicked off my 1000km running challenge with a local 10k race, so 1%completed...

I'm going for 100miles a month running. Should be doable if I stay uninjured. Can't do more than 17 in a day though - foot injuries galore. Never survived marathon training despite my best efforts. 9 done today.

I did Parkrun today too, some people did 2 today as ours didn’t start until 11 but I wasn’t that keen!
Got 5 10k and a couple of half’s lined up for 2018 so hopefully that’ll keep me focused 🤓

6.3 miles for me this afternoon, very slow pace mind! I'm using the strava 1000 miles club to log with as well.

Parkrun for me this morning (995km to go) and 11 miles on the bike (989 miles left).
I also signed up for the Virtual Runner 1000km run challenge...medal looks nice!

4.8km walk for me today....annoying that I didn't quite get to 5km on my route 🙄

Checking in, no miles for me today but aiming to do better tomorrow

My total for today was 6.5 miles but 3 of those was dedicated walking rather than just movement recorded. Looking forward to having a go at this challenge.

I'm in for 1000k. Starting tomorrow as my new treadmill arrives fingers crossed we can build it!!!

I'm in. Started with two parkruns today, one at 9am and one at 10.30. So that's 6.2 miles done 994 to go.

Strava automatically keeps a tally of your years total, and makes you a nice little video at the end of year
Strava will also add up all the bits of miles so you’ll gain a few over the year, tactical thinking going on
I did just over 5 this morning, early morning frosty headtorch run with my friend and the dog. It was lovely to be out early on a holiday as the roads were so quiet, didn’t meet a single car.
So that’s 8 miles done so far

If anyone is up for it we could follow each other on Strava, give a bit of encouraging kudos.

Thanks for the Strava tip. Downloaded the app and tracked my lunchtime walk - 2.4km.

I'm going to try and figure out how to manually add the walk I did yesterday.

Hoping to persuade DH to go for a walk with me later - taking advantage of DD being at MIL's for a couple of days!

Shoop I use an app (free) called Strides and I just log every run in there and it adds it on.

Just to add it's a great app for tracking all sorts of goals - weight, habits, targets etc

I'm in. parkrun yesterday so 995 to go. Also on Strava. Only managed 314miles running in 2017 but hoping by logging walks too I can get close to 1000!

shoop to manually add on strava go to the cross on the top left hand corner of your feed and it’ll give you the option to manually add your distance.

I'm using runtastic at the mo but will download strava and try to find you all. Waves looking slightly lost, red and about to die... that'll be me

Not great, but I've not run properly since stbxh and I split in July. Joys of single parentdom I cannot get a babysitter just to run!

So, new treadmill arrived today. I'm feeling motivated and I'm going to do this! This will be our year!
