Anybody else in London ballot?

It's the first time I've entered. I didn't think I'd be bothered but now we're approaching d day (week after next I'm guessing?) Ive become obsessed and am writing imaginary training plans

When I entered I thought that if I got a spot, I'd defer it to give myself a year to put extra miles in my legs. But now I don't care about the extra miles...!!

Might look for other spring marathons.... K own I couldn't commit to fundraising for charity place.

Got home to my sorry magazine and the black training top.

The top is OK actually, lightweight black zip up running jacket. The only problem is that it says london marathon on it they need a rebranding think for these tops. Why would you wear a top of a race you didn't get into? Surely #LondonLoser or something referencing ballot failure in a pithy, tongue in cheek way would be better? These tops could be quite collectable with a bit of creativity.

I'm glad I know. I'm really excited about windermere. I wasn't going to do a marathon next year, but the vlm ballot has made me realize that I do want to do one.

Still waiting here. Both DP and I have entered. I ran it for charity last year and seriously don't know how I'd feel if I got in again.

No email, no bib number, no magazine.

I'm hoping I get the sorry magazine today.
It's the not knowing is annoying. Once I know, I can move on and look for a half more realistic marathon to train for and get excited about.

I'll still enter LM next year.

I'm starting to get so fed up of waiting I'm researching other marathons lol. Apparently the "you're in" stuff goes out first, so it's not looking good at this point. Although saying that something could still come through the post today I guess as my postie comes late but I'm not convinced..

That's it true steaming a few friends have had sorry magazines already. They have had over 300,000 entries. They can't send that many emails at once or it would crash their server. And royal mail probably couldn't handle that either. It literally doesn't mean anything if you have entered heard yet. I know people last year who got in on the third day and people rejected on the first.

No email or magazine yet, for me or DH I would just like to know one way or another. There is no escape as my facebook feed is full of speculation

The only person I know who has received a yes mag, had a good for age place anyway.

Seems like hardly anyone at my local running club has heard anything either.

First run in 3 years just completed. Was a mixture of walking and running. I was also pushing my son in his buggy. 2k in 21 mins

I got my "you're in" magazine yesterday. Although I had deferred last year's entry due to me knackering my knees so I knew it was coming. Still excited/terrified. And hoping my knees will hold up this time. Doing spinning and strengthening at the gym in addition to running just to give knee it's best shot. Whilst on pretty strict diet to try and lose a few pounds before the running ramps up.

Im still waiting for the post. I checked online yesterday and there is no bib number under my entry so im taking thats a no (thankfully 😁).

My friend entered fir the 1st time and got in!!!

Blackandpurple I got in but no bib number on buzz. They removed them all yesterday, so may not be a no

Apparently the bib numbers were taken down early afternoon.

Some people who already had a yes, said that they didn't have a bib number.

A lot of people are also saying they have a bib number showing for Ride London, yet the ballot for that is still open.

It's Day 2. and the postman has been and gone.
Nothing again.

The not knowing is driving me insane.
