Purple sounds like you're doing really well on p90x3. I really like that series. Do you have a pull up assist or are you doing proper pull ups? I've never been able to do one without pull up assist but one day...

Thermo you were right they don't have BA on LMOD. I haven't signed up as that's what I wanted. The secret site now not has ONE BA video :(((( I'm thinking of looking on ebay to see if I can buy the instructor dvds individually like the ones the secret site had so at least I can have a couple of the Ines I like at home to do.

I have been doing doubles most days this week although some have just been adding a 10-minute abs workout on and others have been 2x30 minute workouts. Today, we did Core Speed and Autumn's 10-minute abs 21df video.

reastie try YouTube. In the past, I have found full BA workouts on there - takes a bit of searching and you may have to have an open mind on which ones you do. Instructors have to submit a video of them teaching a class for certification and those videos often end up on YouTube - they are a bit dull as it literally focuses on the instructor for 60 minutes but better than nothing??

OK so have bought some heavier dumbells and resistance loops from aldi this weekend...all ready for 80 DO. Autumn's coming to England next weekend to launch 80DO - would love to go but it seems part of the Beachbody coaching pyramid scheme 🤔

Roman - wow well done on continuing to fit in doubles Star Disappointing that autumn visit isn't being made available to all her fans.

I am not very on it at the mo. Did Jillian michaels Launch yesterday, which was jolly hard and I had a satisfying amount of acheage on my arms today. Full on day today; work, piano lessons for kids, parents evening for 1 dc, supermarket, dinner etc, so did an easy workout from my unwrapped poundland dvds collection. It was someone called Camilla from strictly. Wasn't too hard but the core workout was challenging enough. I also did the latin kickbox fusion {punch, punch, merengue, kick, kick tango!}

I’m totally impressed with the doubles and 5am starts too Roman. I’d like to say it would make me do them too, but let’s not kid each other!

What is Jillian Michaels launch poppy? I’m looking to add a few workouts to my repertoire.

Warrior for me tonight. And I managed to remember that for amerians 2nd floor is our 1st floor. That made elevator push ups a LOT harder dammit. Was great to workout as had a long busy day so needed to burn off a bit of stress. I used to really enjoy my rest evenings but had one yesterday and felt really antsy and couldn’t relax. I think I need the feeling of being totally physically knackered!

Purple maybe your body is keen to get back on it after relaxing over Christmas. I had a rest evening and enjoyed it, but also did Chalean Extreme this morning and enjoyed that too! Scales were down a little bit too which is motivating as I wouldn't say I have been totally back on it.

This is the pack (bodyshred) that Launch workout is on. PS I am a bit pathetic at sticking to things so have only done the first workout on this set but if I remember correctly it was another one that left my arms aching, again that workout seems to be online if you google Jillian Michaels killer arms and back workout 1, but this is the amazon link killer arms and back .Looking at the reviews someone complained there wasn't enough Jillian as she is fitting in too much working out but that would prob appeal more to people on here Grin This workout was fast with lots of lighter reps.

Yumy sounds like you're doing really well. Btw interested in Charlean extreme as I have this as got it in the sale about a year ago but never used it due to injuries, are there any workouts that don't use weights for arm workouts that I could give a go? I've never really warmed to Jillian but maybe I just haven't given her enough of a go. Actually, I'd be interested to try the shred again as last time I remember doing that was pre weight loss when I was super unfit. I wonder if I could go straight to level 3 Hmm

Purple I never realised that about Americans first floor. So every time I did that workout I was making it too easy!

BA this morning, loved it and got a high five from teacher . Was up at 6:30 to get a space for next week! Hoping for a little run or cycle tomorrow and going to try and drag dh out with me as he is off work still but he may refuse.

It's all weights focused on chalean extreme Reastie, either that or bands which I remember caused your injury? What exercises are you allowed to do - is body weight ok?

That must be why I haven't yet done any of them yumy :( I can do teeny push ups on knees (limited number) and I can do a few arm weights works with tiddly weight (1.5kg) but there's a lot of arm stuff I can't do and I think I'd just worry I'd aggregate it as even moving my hand slightly with it can make all the difference. I can't wait until I do a proper programme again though! Hey ho

Reastie you could do shred then following the modifier and using light weights - I actually find level 1 the hardest for some reason. I think I have hurt my knees more doing shred than anything else though. CVX in P90x3 and the cardio routines in Chalean Extreme use light weights I think so they might be worth a look, but they are cardio with weights rather than upper body. T25 has an upper body focused workout - would that be worth trying with modifications - I can't think what it includes off the top of my head but liked it when I did it recently.

Actually not upper body at all but Core de force is quite fun - Roman used to do it so might know better if it would be good for you, but that might be a program you could do with modifications?

Thanks yumy. I tried core de force after thermo recommended it but I can't do punches (well, I can but it irritates the nerve). My range of motion in my nerve issue is definitely better in the last three months since I've been wearing the night brace though :)

Dh has refused to go on a run with me citing no trainers as his excuse I think he's just scared he won't be able to keep up

It must be frustrating not being able to pick and choose workouts but you are good at making up your own workouts, which I can't do, and at least that way you can pick cool music or some tv to watch and do exercises.

Have already bent my own rules of shaun t or Jillian for cardio; instead I did Davina intense cardio box, it was a bit strange with long 2 minute rests where calming zen music played and a message would come up saying things like drink water, then Davina would pop up yapping for a few seconds then the screen would fade out to another message! Once I skipped those breaks out the workout was too short really. Will tag another workout on from the selection if I do it again.

Yumy I've got a davina workout and I found it was a bit lite for me too, but maybe she does more hardcore ones?

Blush so I discovered ba IS on LMOD. I emailed them to ask why it wasn't and they replied that's it was. I don't know how I missed it but I'm glad they do. Plan is to sign up and do it on Sunday.

Yesterday I didn't go for a run in the end as it was raining and I'm a lightweight. I did a toning workout at home with lots of squats etc. I quite like doing that where I make up the moves based on what I can remember from all of the bb workouts and variations in moves but I always feel like I should work harder.

2min long rests poppy?! That would really irritate me. The longer the rest the longer the workout! I’d have skipped them too. Someone told me the davina 10min workouts are good.

Did your DH relent and go out for a run with you reastie? We’re the opposite here. My DH is a lot faster than me no matter how fit I am. We’ve just started planning our next event to do together (we’ve done adventure races, marathons, all sorts). I’ve picked a really hard looking trail half Mara through Snowdonia. Am a bit scared now. I’m not too worried about the mountain and trail bit but the length is a worry - I haven’t done a half Mara for about 10yrs. Eek. I have until July to get my mileage up.

Did max out cardio on weds and max out sweat this am. Couldn’t work out last night. Have had a horrible headache all week and simply felt too grim to do anything but go to bed. Seems a bit better today and often exercise helps. Wasn’t my finest workout though - max out sweat is a really tough one so I stopped a lot. Am hoping it has done the trick as I’m tired of being grumpy and feeling bad.

Purple Flowers hope the workout does the trick and you will be back on form soon. I think it feels crap exercising at first but then sometimes helps kick the draggy end bit of illness in the butt a bit sooner iykwim!

Reastie that is GREAT news about LMOD!

I thought Davina intense would be one of the hard Davina workouts! DD2 did the floor stretch and actually kept at it while I was making dinner so all is not lost.

I am having a rest day today, might try and fit a double in at the weekend. But as you know I am terrible at keeping to my plans Blush

Reastie that is great news about LMOD. I have just had a look and can see them there and it is really tempting me in - the thought of Combat and Attack (and Body Balance cos I love that) on tap is really appealing to me. However, realistically I know I won't actually use it as DH won't do those workouts. I cancelled my subscription before because I wasn't using it...but I want it Grin It might be good for my 5am workouts that I do without DH....ah I don't know what to do!!

yum 2 minute rests??? Really?? wow, that would be so irritating! As much as I love a good rest (which is why I prefer Autumns workouts to T25 Grin), 2 minutes would just feel like a complete waste of workout time Hmm Not keen on Davina anyway so I have never been tempted to buy any of her DVDs Grin

Still plugging along here - mixing up the workouts between T25, 21df, 21dfx and Fitness Blender. Quite enjoying it for now.

Me and DH have decided we are going to start 80 DO next weekend (I think). I assume the videos will start appearing on the secret site from Tuesday onwards but we are going to leave it a few days to allow for any delays in them appearing. However, we are going to do each workout in turn although we will not be doing it for 80 consecutive days as you are supposed to (because surely we have to have rest days and real life doesn't really work like that does it??). Anyone else going to do it too?

I may join you sporadically for 80 do roman. I’m quite enjoying p90x3 so will finish that then if 80do is on the secret site then I’ll do a few. I found the taster workouts a bit fiddly with all the bands and sliders but I guess you get used to it. Working out for 80 days straight sounds like madness. There must be some stretch days in that which I’d be skipping in favour of an actual rest day Smile

Let us know how you get on with lmod reastie. I’ve never tried any les mills. They’re longer aren’t they? Somehow I’ve become addicted to 30mins only workouts!

Thanks for the Flowers am feeling a lot better and headache has gone. Am worried it is work stress and that it will be back next week Sad. Total synergistics yesterday. Was still tired from max out sweat so was wobbling all over the place. Busy day today but hope I can fit in the challenge later. (I always skip the burn out Blush so it’s over in 25mins)!

purple it does seem quite fiddly but the ALO ones we have done without the band's and sliders and still felt that we got a good workout so going to play it by ear.

Also the majority of the workouts on LMOD are actually 30 minutes so a edited version of the gym classes. I am SO tempted but we are supposed to be on a strict budget 😣

Right, I've signed up to LMOD. They have a months free trial ATM so if you were thinking of doing it it might be a good time to give it a go as usually I think it's only 7 days (well, it was last time I tried before Christmas). I did Ba this morning but it was only 35 mins but they do seem to have longer ones (I think). Not as many workouts as I thought there would be for each type of class and annoyingly it hasn't got the most recent BA release that's a few months old now or the one that's due out this week. Maybe they can't put out the latest Ines until the next one has come out to make people do the classes to stay up to date? I've never tried body balance and not sure how compatible it is with dodgy arm but would like to give it a go and see tomorrow. Purple I imagine you might like the grit workouts on there, they look quite hardcore!

Glad you're feeling better today purple, hope it doesn't last next week. Work stress is rubbish. Drink lots and lots and do you know that weird accuouncture point on your hand that helps headaches? Between your thumb and finger, I don't know how it works but that really helps when I have a nasty headache.

I wonder if we'd be allowed to set up a LMOD log in and all have the password and share the cost Hmm if others are interested. I guess we'd have to always do workouts at different times though as it might not like two people logged into same Id at the same time doing different workouts.

Reastie sharing membership might be complicated, but I will def look into the 3 month trial that would be excellent!

I was exhausted yest and had back ache, dp is poorly at mo so maybe I was coming down with something. Anyway I had a nap instead of a double Blush but did chalean Burn 2 (weights) today as felt ok.

Am a tiny bit tempted by the 1mth free trial but then they’d probably trap me and I’d get sucked in to a membership. I am exactly the person they’re targeting! You’re right grit looks right up my street but needs a bar bell I think and DH is already at the end of his tether re the amount of fitness equipment in our living room.

I was outraged by the price of the les mills branded equipment - £70 for 10kg plates for barbell, packages of kit (step, weights, mat etc) up to £450!!!

Hope you feel better today poppy. I felt the same on sat - I was totally wrung out. I wondered whether it was just being generally a bit tired and run down.

Did the challenge yesterday. Now on 11 pulls, 13 press ups per set. Think could push to 12/14 on next go. These are assisted pull ups obv. My max ever full pull ups is 2 and even then the second one probably wasn’t a full one.

Rest day today. Have a good day all. Smile
