I didn't quite make the virtual christmas workout (sorry!) But I did go for a long walk this morning which I count as a workout which takes me to 30/30 before Christmas Day 🎉🎉

yum pyramid is one of my fave workouts...goes really quick I always find.

So if anyone wants to set me a challenge for the period between now and 15th Jan when 80 day obsessed starts, feel free 😊 clearly I need a challenge to motivate me!

How didn't everyone's Christmas Day go? Lots of excess consumption?!

When I was doing speed 3 I thought I might die of exhaustion* having not done it in such a long time but the last ten minutes I enjoyed, it just felt like the first ten minutes went in for ever!

Did a 30 minute cycle on Boxing Day to test out a new cycle seat dh got for me and it was a lot softer and more comfortable so hurrah for having my cycles!

This morning I did insanity pure cardio. Usually when I do insan Th after not having done it for a long time it is hard and even in the warm up I can take multiple breaks but I was really proud to only take one short break in the warm up at the end of round two to give me a little bit of energy to the all out third round. Overall it wasn't as bad as I was expecting which has given me a boost given I've been feeling very unfit and maybe my cardio fitness isn't as bad as I think. I did have to modify a few moves and some I did slower/not as deep but it was still a challenge.

Thermo how about 21df as you've got nearly 21 days so would fit in well. Huge congrats for your 30/30, that is brilliant work.

Purple did you get the secret site to Work? They still don't have most of the les mills workouts on it they used to and I miss them so much. I might sign up to the OD service.

*ok, not quite die but it was fast!

Hi reastie!
We had a great Xmas thanks. Due to a Xmas miracle all was calm on Xmas morning so I managed a Xmas run which was lovely. Lots of people out which surprised me to be honest.

Rest day yesterday then back with max out Power as it’s one of the few DVDs I have. Am toying with doing p90x3 for a few weeks. Not sure.

Great work on speed 3.0 and pure cardio. They’re both tough workouts. I’m amazed you found the first 10mins of 3.0 hard vs the second. The second 20mins has all the evil burpees from hell at super speed

Must recheck secret site - I just couldn’t even find the videos - the icon was missing.

Wow I am impressed that you have all managed some exercise these last few days...and purple super bonus points for you running on Christmas day!

Nothing here Xmas Blush mainly because the lounge floor is covered in toys, lego and books and neither me or DH are motivated enough to tidy it up to exercise Xmas Grin

Maybe tomorrow...

I may have had a baileys chocolate latte before my workout (speed 2.0) this morning Grin Have to use Roman's lego on the floor reason for not exercising the other 3 days though.

yum have you tried any of the A Little Obsessed workouts yet?

Still not done any exercising! The lego is still winning the battle in this house 😂

Aldi are selling some dumbells from next week..they look quite smart and compact compared to my bulky ones! They have some 5kg ones which are 0.5kg heavier than the heaviest ones I have so I think I'll get some as 4.5kg isn't that challenging on a lot of exercises anymore 😮

Checked secret site again - when I open in iPad app it doesn’t show me the link to videos and then video albums anymore. It’s so strange. I can see videos if I open it without the app just through google but then the videos aren’t sorted so there are 1000 videos which I need to scroll through. Has anyone had this happen? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app just in case but that didn’t work.

Anyway - have gone back to p90x3 so total synergistics for me yesterday. I cannot believe how hard i found the pull ups and chin ups!

purple the secret site is like that on my phone so it seems to be in order of upload (so the newest uploads are at the top) and you can search but the names to search aren't always obvious so it is very frustrating. On the xbox browser, it gives you the option of albums which is obviously so much better. I have no idea why they are different as I use an Internet browser for both Xmas Confused

I have also noticed that a lot on the albums have been taken down so I have to search for them now anyway. Also adverts have started appearing at the beginning of them all...which annoys me but I'm trying to be calm about it considering its free Xmas Grin

Purple last time I tried pullups I was horrified by how hard they were even with an assist. Must be one of those things that need to be kept up.

No exercise today, we went to a panto (and played with lego!)but no reason why I shouldn't tomorrow, so hopefully I will press play. Having a curry and prosecco this evening. A health kick will be in order in January :/ Thinking of signing up for BBOD and hoping for an offer so I will wait before trying A little obsessed incase that stops me being a new customer.

Did you do your workout poppy? The bit under my arms and down my sides is still sore now 2 days after my pull ups. I think we can conclude that those muscles need strengthening!

I’ve also gone through all the videos on the secret site and saved them to ‘my videos’ in my profile which seems to have solved the problem. It was extremely boring to do.

Rest day yesterday then did cvx today. I was super tired after it - I literally could have had a nap! This is not part of the plan as we’re going to a party this afternoon. We’ll be partying hard until the various kids get too crazy and then we’ll be going home. I estimate 8pm. I know. It’s going to be wild..... WineGrin

Happy new year to you all 😊 quiet evening here...pj's and a film!

Went for a good 90 minutes walk with DH yesterday which was bliss despite the rain! The DC would never walk that far without a lot of moaning but they were at sports practice for 2 hours so we took the opportunity!

That's the only exercise I've done for a week 😞 so Tuesday will be the start of a new regime. Going to go back to 16:8 diet and consistent exercise of 6 days a week. Aim to shift 1/2 stone a month...

Yumy alas I didn't get a new bike, just the seat to put into my existing bike (and my existing bike has a massive puncture so it's gone on dhs bike for now).

Thermo I didn't see any gin bottles either, now, have you been drinking?!! Walk sounds lovely. Whenever we go for a walk with dd after about five minutes she starts asking how much longer and walking at the speed of a snail.

Not been too bad with workouts this week but they've tended to be quite short ones. Yesterday did tf hiit 25 and day before did LM bodystep. Will probably do a weights based workout of my own invention today.

I still can't find most of the LM workouts on the secret site, I'm convinced they've been taken down. There used to be loads with the up to date ones on too but now it's just a tiny amount of older ones.

Happy New Year Reastie, Purple and Roman!

No parties here, but dc were at my mums so dp and I had some nice food, cocktails, procescco and dvds - Hacksaw ridge was a good one. I also stayed up longer watching Life, which I have wanted to watch for a while but was a bit of a rubbish movie I thought. DP is always in bed before midnight but fireworks go off like crazy round here so I knew midnight happened at least!

Reastie it's a shame about LM, will you sign up? The main thing putting me off signing up to BB is that you have to phone to cancel the subscription and can't cancel online. How much is that call going to cost!

Purple no exercise the last couple of days even though I could have really Blush but did t25 ript circuit today.

Think I am finally nearly ready to take down Christmas stuff, eat less crap and get back to normal.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one with a somewhat sedate New Year’s Eve! I had a tiny hangover though which I regard as a success.

That is bloody outrageous re cancellation for B.B. on demand. My car insurance was the same and it was enraging.

We’ve de-christmassed here. No more xmas food in the house and decorations are down. I find it therapeutic to do it on nyd.

Did The Challenge (p90x3 push/pull up workout) today. Rest day (and back to work Sad) for me tomorrow. Will also do a weigh in. Can’t predict the result.

Morning all - back at work and normality resumes today Smile

Reastie I have been looking on the secret site for the LM workouts and they do seem to have disappeared Sad I really wanted to give the latest BA a go as some of the music is fab but it isn't there.

I can't believe you can't all see gin bottles on my last post - how bizarre as they are definitely there on mine! I was using the MN app for a change so maybe it is a glitch on there. Not keen on the app tbh (it doesn't show paragraphs either) so I think I might revert back to using it in a browser.

So, I am currently sat at work feeling very uncomfortable as my skirt is a bit tight Blush I am so far off achieving project winter skirt, it is laughable Sad I was so close a couple of months ago and yet again, I let it slip and now I am further away than ever.

Anyway, today is a new day, a new year. DH is putting the Christmas decs and toys away today so I will have my lounge back so plenty of space for exercise. Going to throw myself (and DH) back in with a double tonight - probably Plyo fix and then a basic arm workout from Fitness Blender. Decided to just do random stuff until 80 DO appears on the secret site in a couple of weeks.

Thermo try to remember almost everyone out there is finding clothes a little snug this week after Christmas. You're not the only one and the important thing is you are doubling tonight and on the case! But I know how annoying it is to be nearly there and then lose all that hard work. It's sucks.

I'm still mourning the loss of the LM workouts I told one lady at my local gym about the secret site a month or so ago. It's the only person I've ever told about the site and then a couple of weeks later they had dissapeared. I've convinced myself it was because I told her and somehow it's all my fault Blush.

Brilliant news, I got to the gym and did BA class today . I missed a proper class with actual people! I find I push myself so much more and it's so much more fun and jumping around in my tiny dining room trying not to bang into anything. So feels super today. Rest day tomorrow and think I earned it. Oh, and exciting news I have shiny new trainers.

Yumy I'm going to do the seven day free trial of LM. Might start it this week end, tbh I'll probably keep it up if they have all the BAs on there.

Purple I love the challenge, makes me feel so strong and powerful.

reastie glad you managed to get a real life BA workout in! When I subscribed to LM, I don't think they had any BA workouts on so just double check before you sign up.

Did the double yesterday and then did Dirty 30 today and 10 min Abs. Dirty 30 felt much harder than normal which is strange as I was consistently exercising up to Christmas eve and then only had 9 days off Hmm

Anyway, me and DH have decided we will take it in turns to choose a workout up to when we start 80 DO- so this means I will be doing a rotation of Speed 2.0, Ript Circuit and Dirty 30 on alternate days as these are the workouts DH always defaults too Grin

Well I survived getting back to work. I hope you all have too.
Did the warrior tonight. As usual got confused between 2nd floor, 1st floor and bottom floor on elevator push ups. DH said I looked muscular after I finished. Must have been all the press ups! Grin

I still can’t raise my arms above my head after the pull ups from the challenge on Monday!

purple I can't even imagine what those push ups are! Hope the arm pain is easing a little.

Done a Core de Force workout followed by a new 10-min Autumn abs workout that has appeared on the secret site this week.

I am aching in my chest and side abs after yesterday so not sure whether to have a rest day tomorrow or do a lower workout like Barre legs. Will see how I feel tomorrow.

Just normal press ups roman. Just lots of them. I got pumped. Like a body builder - well a really small puny one.

Did total synergistics last night and rest day today. Am thinking I’m going to do 2 weeks of each month of p90x3. 12wks of p90x3 is too long for me but half that will be perfect.

Rest day yesterday but did a double today of a 30 minute combat workout followed by AAA from Little Obsessed.

Really getting into the swing of double workouts now although real life starts next week with school/sports practice etc so time will become limited again and I'm going to have to go back to my 5am workouts again 😣😣

Hope the return to real life isn’t too painful roman. Are you doing doubles and then rest days (so it’s equivalent of working out every day?). I find doubles so hard to make myself do.

My office has been full of people wanting to lose weight post Xmas. I’ve been a one woman beach body marketing campaign. I honestly think home workouts are the most efficient way to get a workout in.

Did the challenge again today. Increased my push up number by 1 per set. As I never write it down (sorry Tony!) I can’t remember how much it is vs when I last did p90x3 but I think it is less. Am going to aim for 12 pull ups/14 press ups per set and am on 10/13 now. Press ups seems achievable. The extra pull ups seem impossible but I guess I just need to be patient.
