Wow Purple that sounds like a spooky run.

Happy to try speed 3! I totally agree with you re internet Reastie and that's the main reason I haven't signed up to BBOD as apparently that is a problem with the site.

I actually did speed 1.0 today and it is lovely to begin with but hard for the burn out. I didn't modify though apart from an occasional sip of water. Ab intervals on the other hand urgh I now hate it. DP is very suspicious when I do ab workouts and accuses me of 'rolling around on the floor complaining' rather than working our.

yum I make those type of comments to DH - he rolls around huffing and puffing whenever we do abs work 😂

So my efforts to get to 30 workouts have taken a blow today as I have injured my knee somehow 😕 no idea how but it just started hurting this morning whenever I bend it and put weight on it - so anything requiring a squat-type movement like going to the toilet.

We needed to do a double tonight to make up for a rest day yesterday. Was planning on Cardio Fix and Dirty 30 but had to change Dirty 30 to Upper Fix as Dirty 30 is just full of squats. I managed (with a few modifications in Cardio Fix) and hoping I haven't damaged it anymore 😦

So I think that is 23/30 with 6 days left 🎅

Thermo 25 is stellar work, you will definitely do this! Hope the knee gets better soon. Be gentle with it as knees can be tricky. You can always do five abs workouts if you get desperate to meet the 30.

Fingers crossed for better broadband tomorrow to do a BA workout from the secret site. I am feeling very flabby still and constant hunger is making my appetite become ridiculous.

Reastie I am really hungry too! I have given up on being a diet - sadly my winter skirt I have been living in is now too tight.

Roman you could always count t25 stretch as a workout for your double to give your knee a break this will also make me feel less of a wuss lol re your dh, I often hear friends complaining about their dh's and nod along sympathetically while secretly thinking - that sounds like something I would do!

T25 upper focus, quite like that one, and speed 2.0 this evening.

Yumy you'll be back in the skirt. Fwiw I spend most of abs workouts rolling around moaning. I've always found them really tough, I guess my core is rubbish.

Wanted to do BA today but dd reminded me I had told her we would do the new Tony Horton double trouble workout (aimed at two people doing it together and also at families/children). Unfortunately I couldn't go all out for fear of banging into dd so was a bit of an average workout. I think she enjoyed it though so it was good from that perspective. I found TH looked weird and it took me until half way through to work out that it's because his face looked really botoxed. His hair looks really overly dark for his face too so he just sort of looks a bit strange. I guess maybe given he spent half of one of his boxsets saying aging is for idiots you have to try to look like you're not aging!

Crossing fingers for BA tomorrow. Still resisting all Christmas food this season apart from a slice of nut roast at lunch today.

How is the knee roman? Perhaps some ab workouts to give it a rest for a day or so?

I thought Tony Horton looked pretty odd on the 22hc so maybe he’s upped the Botox a notch again. It must be hard to look old if you’re a personal trainer as your livelihood does depend on your looks but he has gone a bit far. Shaun t seems to have gone grey and it suits him.

What is it with all the doubles on here? I came on to post that I had done dirty 30 x and then find I’m the only one who hasn’t done a double! It was a workout against the odds as I had a lot of potential reasons why it wasn’t convenient etc etc but I’m so glad I did it. I had a tiring stressful day but all forgotten now after a few curtesy lunges.

Very intrigued by the tony workout Reastie. His hair is a touch too dark - bit of just for men might work better. To be fair I have roots at the mo which is probably worse!

I am absolutely shattered after this evening Ript circuit and stretch, have just woken up from a snooze. Have so much to do I need a second burst of energy.

So I rested my knee on Tuesday, it seemed better yesterday but then started hurting again at work. Anyway, it seems to come and go so I decided to give Ript Circuit a go yesterday (but not doing the squat moves) and it was ok. I think I just need to select my workouts carefully and yes, abs and arms workouts will probably need to feature heavily!

So 26/30 workouts done with 4 days left. Not sure I can do anything today due to other commitments so will need to double up tomorrow Xmas Hmm

Reastie how was BA?

I'm with you all on the eating - I am trying but I seem to be putting on weight at a rapid rate and we haven't even had Christmas yet Xmas Confused God knows what I'll be like by 2 January!!! Thank god for elasticated waists eh?

Thermo BA was good fun thank you but feeling a bit panicked as there were barely any BAs on the secret site, I think only one full length one (which I did). Usually there are loads of full length ones and I tend to alternate between a couple, both of which seemed to have dissapeared. Has anyone else found this? . I'm not sure where else I can see them as I don't think all of them are even on LMOD (which I'm thinking of signing up to in desperation if they really have gone from the secret site).

My birthday today and I managed a cheeky mini run. Only a small one as my calves were playing up after BA yesterday so didn't want to make them too ba s but didn't want to miss out. Thermo we can moan together about our legs!

I looked in the mirror today and saw an upsetting tummy wobble. I weigh the same as normal but look more flabby there Sad. Let’s not dwell on what Xmas might do to me!

Did cardio challenge last night and Ript Circuit tonight. Didn’t want to workout today but then remembered if I didn’t workout I’d have to wrap presents. I’ve told DH no matter what sort of excuse I make tomorrow that he must insist I do it. I will NOT be doing it at midnight on Xmas eve....

Rest day for me tomorrow yay! I did Core Cardio today and dp kept standing in the door way meaning I had to show off so was shattered by the end. I then did upper body which was a bad choice as I couldn't bring myself to do any more burpees and had to skip a bit, I was fine with the weights though.

Is anyone feeling christmasy yet?

Yumy I'm feeling very Christmassy! I find the couple of days before Christmas difficult as I just want Christmas to be here already, I'm so impatient!!

So have we decided on Christmas Eve joint workout? We were discussing speed 3 maybe (I don't have speed 2 on DVD but if you'd all prefer to do that I can do speed 3 in place). Can I through insanity pure cardio into the workout? I love that one (well, I hate it when I'm doing it but love it afterwards) and haven't done it for yonks but could easily modify that one. It would definitely be a good challenging on for me at least as I'm feeling I've lost quite a bit of my fitness over the past couple of months and I need to kick myself into gear.

Happy Christmas eve eve everybody Xmas Grin

So I may just scrape the 30 workout challenge by the skin of my teeth and a bit of artistic licence. Have done a 'treble' today of ALO cardio core, fitness blender arms workout and the 10 minute abs fix from 21df. It takes my total to 29/30 so just tomorrow's to go. However I accept that the 10 min abs workout probably shouldn't count as it's so short but I'm desperate 😂😂

My knee pain is still intermittent so I'm just trying to ignore it and carry on as normal...but avoiding squats where I can.

So what time are we exercising tomorrow? Not sure about insanity ones reastie as I haven't done any and think they might be too hard Xmas Blush

I'll be working out at about 9am tomorrow thermo, get it done for the day! I'd say with insanity the point it you just go as fast as you can and have a break when you have to. The moves themselves are simple drills and you do each move I think 45 seconds- 1 minute for pure cardio (I forget which length). There are about 15 moves. There's no break in that 15 minutes but I always take a few and you do as many/as fast as you can. I actually really miss that workout and thinking about it is making me really really want to do it!

Id count that roman. I’m so impressed that you’ve nearly done it. Just one workout to go!

Normally I’d say I’m up for any challenge but I don’t think I can face pure Cardio. I don’t think anyone would be offended if you did it reastie. Speed 2.0 or 3.0 for me. I’ll go with the majority verdict. Prob also a 9/10am workout for me too.

Don’t be impatient for Xmas to start reastie. We’ve started it here - it mostly involves randomly doing Xmas things and eating nice food at odd times whilst not observing any of the normal ‘rules’ for the kids. Excellent. We’ll be doing presents from tomorrow too - it doesn’t work for us doing them all on Xmas day so we’re trying a new way this year.

Went for a run this am which was nice. Rest day yesterday but took the kids into London. We went to St. Paul’s cathedral in the afternoon and when I looked at my phone later we had walked 5miles and climbed 360 steps!

Reastie you are sounding like my ds - he would happily skip December to get straight to the big day and he is not a fan of Christmas eve.

Your Christmas plans sound lovely Purple. Christmas eve is my favourite day, have tried to get as much done as pos so we can enjoy tomorrow, drink and have fun making gingerbread etc.

Well done Roman - I would count the 10 minute workout - a treble is brilliant. Think I got to 26 but that included 2 stretch workouts and a fair amount of t25 doubles. Had a lovely spa day yesterday so did some swimming but nothing that could count as a workout and I was too busy today, my exercise will have to be covered by running around shopping, collecting parcels!

Right morning workout for me too then! Can we do speed 2.0 please, as I can't find 3.0. We don't all have to do exactly the same it can be the same in spirit! As another option I found Cize speed it up but its 43 minutes and Gamma the pyramid. Will try to check before I workout x

Yay for Xmas eve workouts. Couldn’t do speed 2.0 as all the videos seem to be off the secret site ShockShock. I’m hoping this is just my user error. So had to do max out cardio - argh. Was a bit harder than I was planning to do but dd and ds joined in which was fun. They couldn’t do the pike up, ab press up move though - wimps! Grin

Now have an embarrassing workout injury as didn’t put my mat down and have carpet burn on my elbows. Long sleeves today!
