Anyone fancy joining me for a quick 30 day shred before Christmas?

I've never done it before but am feeling pretty bleugh at the moment and could do with a pick-up. I think it will help me to watch what I'm eating a bit in the run-up to Christmas too.

I've no idea if I will actually manage a whole 30 days but probably more likely to if someone else is spurring me on! Anyone up for it?

Checking in...I had a rest day yesterday as I felt like utter shite, but did Jillian's Killer Arms and Back (level 1) today, plus 10 minutes of hooping. I am starting to feel thinner and more firm after being back on the Jillian train for the last month, which definitely helps motivation.

Day 6 done.

I'm quite keen to catch up on the days I missed... has anyone ever tried doing two in a day? One in the morning and another in the evening?

Also, does anyone have any favourite lines from the workout?

Mine has to be "You're strooong! This is eeeasy for you!"

Oh and delicious that's great you're feeling the difference! I have to say that I'm not. I even had to abandon some work trousers this morning as they were making me look rather lumpy round the midriff Angry

brassica don't worry! No fear of abstinence here! I will just be ripped under my cosy wine belly...😀

And as for favourite lines, my personal favourite is: " you are fed a false message of lethargy"

Back on it tomorrow, had work today

SoupDragon · 30/11/2016 23:03

I always join in (complete with American accent) when she answers her own question "can't we just do biceps?" with "NO WE CAN NOT!"

DeliciousIrony · 01/12/2016 07:37

"If you're looking for a modification for a jumping jack...look away, I'm not going to give that to you! I got 400lb people who can do jumping jacks; so can you."

But then I always wonder about anyone doing her DVD that is above 400lb, not sure how that makes them feel!

busyrascal · 01/12/2016 14:21

Just done day 7. It's the side lunges with the arm raise that are killing me at the moment.

Reporting in too: -another round of kickboxing. Had actual sweat and am quite achey, so must be working!

BrassicaBabe · 01/12/2016 18:40

Day 9 done!
Looking forward to day 10 and ticking off level 1!

MissWillaCather · 02/12/2016 09:43

Day 9 done here!

Must not slack off over weekend.. need to try to get up and do it before family stuff....

busyrascal · 02/12/2016 11:09

We are having a super-lazy one this weekend so I shouldn't have a problem fitting mine in. I might even try to squeeze in a parkrun tomorrow morning too.

I didn't manage anything yesterday as I had to work late and then the dreaded time of the month arrived...but did Killer Body (lower body) today, plus 10 mins hooping. Flopping on the sofa with some much deserved prosecco now.

BrassicaBabe · 02/12/2016 21:15

My eyes my eyes! I had a sneak peak at level 2 Sad

Anyway, day 10 done.

Measure up, day 11 and level 2 tomorrow!

MissWillaCather · 02/12/2016 21:26

Go, brassica!

SoupDragon · 03/12/2016 06:52

Wait till you see L3, Brassica :o although, oddly, I prefer it to L2. I've had some time off over the last week as I felt my back give me a warning.

My maximum number of full press ups is now 7 though! They're not great one but I'm glossing over that since I've never managed one before.

BrassicaBabe · 03/12/2016 08:13

So, 2lbs off (I've only really got 7-10 to lose)

No change to upper arms or thighs
2 inches off bust
1 inch from waist
1 inch from hips

I'll save you from the photo Grin

SoupDragon · 03/12/2016 08:26

LOL. I never weighed, photographed or measured myself, I preferred to go on how I felt and I felt SO much better. Even with several long gaps I'm fitter than when I first did it. The first time even the warm up killed me :o

I was never brave enough to do the measuring/photo/weighing!!

busyrascal · 03/12/2016 13:23

Ooooh well done Brassica!

I weighed and photographed but didn't bother with measurements. I'll check in with mine on Tuesday or so.

Soupdragon 7 press-ups is great! I haven't managed to get off my knees for them yet. I'm still with Anita.

OP posts:
busyrascal · 03/12/2016 13:23

Also, does anyone else get annoyed with how lovely Anita looks doing the moves?

She even manages to make the knee circles look sexy Angry

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 03/12/2016 13:58

Oh, once I've done those 7 (it's usually only four!) I'm with Anita all the way.

DeliciousIrony · 03/12/2016 14:37

Well done Brassica, that's fab results for 10 days in! I haven't been able to face doing photos of weighing myself, but I took measurements on 25/11 and will meausre again just before Christmas...hoping to lose at least a solid inch all round.

Extreme Shed and Shred Level 2 today, that one is no joke.

MissWillaCather · 03/12/2016 18:04

Well done, all!

No photos here either 😀 But feel, like keeping fit.

Day 10 done today: think I felt obliged cos of this thread!

BrassicaBabe · 03/12/2016 18:47

Yes MissWilla you are accountable to us all! Grin

Feck day 11, day 1 of level 2! I'm soooo close pals with Anita im going to look her up on FB!

I'm a push up on her knees girl. A single one makes me fall on my nose! There are a heap of plant/push up sections in level 2

I think that cross/cross plank thing in level 2 might start to do some real good if I can manage it!
