Anyone fancy joining me for a quick 30 day shred before Christmas?

I've never done it before but am feeling pretty bleugh at the moment and could do with a pick-up. I think it will help me to watch what I'm eating a bit in the run-up to Christmas too.

I've no idea if I will actually manage a whole 30 days but probably more likely to if someone else is spurring me on! Anyone up for it?

I will join you. Maybe not shred cos I got a bit bored of it but some 20 minute workout. I did a spin and abs class yesterday. Will do shred tomorrow before my meeting. Have started a 3 week clean eating plan too. Will shift half a stone before Christmas!! Good luck!

Can I join you? I've just bought the DVD in a bonkers moment via Amazon prime
DVD will be with me Thursday I think.

I've lost a stone to a stone and a half (depending on which day of the week you catch me) this year through 5:2 and various low cal diets. But I'm sick to death of the cycle I'm in of 5lbs off Monday to Friday, 5lbs on Friday to Sunday Sad

Oh, and I can't remember when I last did any serious exercise....c2003 I think Confused

I felt fine all day today but as soon as I picked up the weights for day 2 this evening...owwwww!!!

I'm going to feel it tomorrow!

I'm so pleased that others are joining me in this. My dh is mocking me relentlessly...

OP I didn't bother wearing trainers and strained my toes (which hurts a lot!!!) on level 2. That stopped me doing it for weeks then I got out of the habit amd have only just started again.

Brassicas I use baked bean cans for weights. Wear trainers (see my previous post) and there is a fair bit of abs work so you'll probably want a mat. And that's it!!

I managed to seriously hurt a thigh muscle 7 mins into today's workout during the squats, so I'm out.. and in pain Sad

Ouch indigo, I have done that before with the Shred it with Weights workout, it's really put me off that DVD! Hope you recover soon.

Brassica Congrats on the weight loss! I am far from a fitness freak, but think that having exercise to focus on helps to spur on motivation, particularly on non-fasting days.

Busy My DP is banned from being in the room while I shred! ALthough you could always invite him to join you and see how he likes it...

Indigo, did you ice it and give it a massage? Rest today, it might be ok tomorrow. I find when that happens to me I find a workout that doesn't need that muscle. Like a 15 min abs workout so I feel I have done something.

Hello,can I join too? Started last Thursday as I couldn't face running in the freezing weather 😳

Class today, so shred again tomorrow. Have told dd I will be ripped by Christmas- she laughed! Quite rightly, but need to do something as the great outdoors is too cold for me just now.

Killer Abs L1 done today, it certainly sneaks some tricky moves in there! And 10 mins hula hooping. Aiming to do another 20 Jillian workouts before Christmas, so about 5 per week...then I can drown myself in wine and chocolate Wink

I wasted 10 mins looking through google images of before/after shred. There are some funny ones there. Couldn't spot the difference on quite a few!

Before I started today I took my own measurements and personal "before" pic. We shall wee...!
