13 to add to make 622.4. We recce'd the first half of a race course for October. Was a good run despite torrential rain. Felt very comfortable and might even have sensed my mojo creeping back.

3 slow and gentle miles this morning to ease my Achilles back in. Avoided parkrun as it's quite hilly. Stiill achy and stiff but better than a week ago!

aw kimmi he's beautiful. Not had new born cuddles for ages - getting broody now (no more though, no more!)

A 3.44 treadmill run midweek and a 6.25 outside run today. I am sticking to my 1000 km personal target, but altered it slightly to 1000 before I am 40 (so that is just over a year now). This gives me a bit of leeway for illness/injury etc!

7km run, well, 6.97km to be precise! Nothing compared to some of you guys but my longest run yet, 40 minutes. I have pleasantly achy legs now

Have 2 races this coming week, local hill race on Thursday night and then trail HM on Saturday. Feel the need for some tactical carb loading scoffing my face

emummy yes it's the Fare, here's hoping the weather is better than today

ha ha, my children can be as moody as they please since they have their own homes to be moody in :o
(they are both pretty cheerful as far as I can tell)

Don't talk to me about moody teenagers . DS1 is at an 18th birthday/A level results party and DS2 is apparently in bed having had his phone prised from his hand and doing an excellent Gollum impression.

Long easy run in the sunshine this morning, so nice to not get soaked! Hilly route in preparation for next week's hilly trail 5k, so not as fast but very pleased to have coped with all the hills without stopping.

Been on my holidays and it was far too hot to run (and I drank far too much wine to get up early enough to run when it was cool) my one aborted attempt was a measly 1.08 miles

Just 2 miles from me. Run to and from kettlebell class on Tuesday after which my legs were very stiff for 2 days.

Didn't get to run again at home as my dad had an accident and broke his heel badly on Wednesday so was helping with that till I came back with kids yesterday.

Will hopefully get in some good runs this week.
