It works!

I've been at it a week. Before that, did fuck all exercise for YEARS. Ended up with a bad knee every time I tried running etc so gave up.

This was a last ditch attempt to stop my body basically falling off, and I was attracted by the fact it would all be done in seven minutes and at least I could tell myself I'd done something.

It actually frigging works.

(Promise I don't work for Davina. Booble plate, river of sweetcorn, cube of poo, pombears, elderly Korean lady.)

But if there is anyone who was like me, who hates exercise and just generally CBA with gyms etc, this is cracking.

I haven't managed to fast today Blush. I did box fit this morning and am planning to do another workout once kids are in bed. I have eaten a LOT of chocolate today so hopefully tomorrow I will eat better!
Thank you so much for starting the thread. It is such a manageable idea and like others I am surprised how much I ache from having done so little!

U2, I started with the area I need to work most on, thighs and bottom, so started with the leg workout. I've then done fat burner this morning, was going to do legs agsin but thought I'd give another workout a try. I'd do another one this evening but have a full livingroom!

Do you reckon Davina's looking in on us Grin

I did the fat burner and abs yesterday and was so sore today that I just did the stretching one. It was lovely Grin

Warm up, tone and sculpt, ultimate fat burn and abs.

Tone and sculpt was bloody hard. Struggled with the pressups.

Ok just did fat burner.

I enjoyed it, at the time I was out of breath but didn't think I had worked hard at all.

I walked into the kitchen and my legs are like jelly Grin

I used to do hundreds of squats with really heavy weights, now I can't do a few without feeling it. Oh well, I will get back in shape in no time I am sure.

I feel great for getting the heart going again! I may do another in the morning but will probably need to lay off the legs. Is the box fit good?

What weights does she use for the tone and sculpt?

U2 I use 2kg hand weights, but I'm not sure what Davina uses.

I'm really trying not to pressure myself into doing it every day. I've done that sort of thing in the past, and have sabotaged myself.

This time, I'm just seeing how I feel every day. If I have a day when I just really don't feel up to it, I don't beat myself up about it.

Likewise, if I feel really up for it I'll do more sessions.

I'm enjoying exercise for the first time. I found myself actually looking forward to my session while I was hunched over my desk at work today! That was a new experience...

Fat burner and fitness challenge done today. Also walked to the park and back. Didn't do any over the weekend though. My legs are aching today!

Tonight I did fat burner, legs and then stretches. I don't know how any of you do more than that in one go, I am exhausted!
Feels good to do some exercise again and like you stevie I was looking forward to it all day. This thread is motivating too, thinking of us all doing our 7 minutes and then reporting back.

I think I have noticed a little change too- my thighs feel a bit firmer.

I was actually looking forward to my session this morning (think I've had a bump to the head) Done warm up and ultimate legs. Feel really good this morning and never thought I'd be saying that about working out this early in the morning.

Up at 645 this morning. Normally I drag myself out at the last minute. Just did warm up and fat burner to start with. Going to build up slowly so I don't hurt myself and then stop.

Feel pretty good actually and more awake than normal.
