Bloody hell - that 7 min Davina exercise DVD

It works!

I've been at it a week. Before that, did fuck all exercise for YEARS. Ended up with a bad knee every time I tried running etc so gave up.

This was a last ditch attempt to stop my body basically falling off, and I was attracted by the fact it would all be done in seven minutes and at least I could tell myself I'd done something.

It actually frigging works.

(Promise I don't work for Davina. Booble plate, river of sweetcorn, cube of poo, pombears, elderly Korean lady.)

But if there is anyone who was like me, who hates exercise and just generally CBA with gyms etc, this is cracking.

I've just done box fit! Very do-able. And I don't just mean Ed Wink

BadPoet · 17/02/2015 15:08

Warm up and fat burner again today. I definitely feel it! Not dd who continues to ping around, are your legs aching? I asked? Not at all she answers brightly! Youth, wasted on the young.

I really fancy the stretching one or maybe box fit next. Well done all!

ToastMakesMeHappy · 17/02/2015 15:10

I purchased 3 of the work outs from iTunes, I didn't see a warm up one? Is it on the DVD?

PeaceOfWildThings · 17/02/2015 15:16

Have postponed my 7 minutes of daily fitness until I've beaten off this lurgy. Today I have been mainly concentrating on breathing. Tomorrow I might get the energy to get dressed!

Justtrying · 17/02/2015 15:26

Going to download and have a go, need to lose a bit and tone up and have left it very late as go on hols in 2 weeks, but 10 mins a day between now and then may help.
Currently sat twiddling thumbs in hotel room waiting to go to work this evening.

Will report back later.

BadPoet · 17/02/2015 16:10

Toast there's a short warm up at the beginning of the FatBurner download (which is the only one I have just now). Not separate as far as I could see. When I get further on I will probably do then warm up then exit and pick another session.

ToastMakesMeHappy · 17/02/2015 16:54

Thank you badpoet I will get the fat burner one - my knees are hurting, I obviously didn't warm up properly with my own little stretch routine! Blush

Justtrying · 17/02/2015 17:14

Just downloaded them all, slow hotel wifi hence delay.

Did the fat burner and the sculpt and tone took 20mins all in. Manageable even for me,gym loathing, unfit and need to lose a stone.

Will try and keep it up as I have a lot of time away in hotel rooms with work. Used a couple of water bottles as weights.

Will try a longer session tomorrow with the abs too.

Keep up the motivation folks.

stevienickstophat · 17/02/2015 17:38

You're all brilliant!

Peace concentrate on getting well first. Hope you start to soon Flowers

Come ON AMAZON!

Where's my copy, already?

stevienickstophat · 17/02/2015 18:16

Don't feel left out, Marnie (loved that book as a kid, btw)

Feel the anticipation Smile

There's a sidesteppy bit in the Ultimate Fat Burner that makes me feel like I'm playing Charlie's Angels or Cops and Robbers as a kid.

See if you know what I mean. Great fun.

Dusted my trainers off and I'm planning on doing my first session tomorrow morning once dp has gone to work. Ds is staying with gp so I've got the place to myself!

Can't wait Grin

Really need leg and bum toning, so going to hit those areas first.

Floopledoop · 17/02/2015 18:46

Read the whole thread and you've all inspired me to buy the dvd and stop lurking on MN! Dvd on the way from Amazon and now posted for the first time! Currently on mat leave with 3 month old pfb DS1 and really need to shift some weight and get rid of the c section apron.

stevienickstophat · 17/02/2015 18:51

Welcome Floople!

(You do know this place is like the Hotel California, don't you? You'll never leave Grin)

BigRedBall · 17/02/2015 18:58

You've motivated me to buy one session on iTunes, which one would you recommend? There's too many to choose from. I did the 30 day shred for a few days once and then found out I was pregnant and puked for the next 4 months so that never worked out well!

I have a jelly belly Id like to tone. Also would like to burn fat around my shoulders and arms and waist. I'm size 12 bottom and 14 top, but used to be 12 top and 10 bottom.

Floopledoop · 17/02/2015 18:58

Ha!
Am now feeling very grown up. Have a child, buying a fence for the garden and now a member of MN! For some reason buying a fence for the back garden has made me feel
more grown up than having the baby.

stevienickstophat · 17/02/2015 19:02

I'd go for fat burner or ultimate fat burner, but you do need a warm upas well. Are they included?

OP posts:
SheHasAWildHeart · 17/02/2015 19:46

Just did Abs, BoxFot and Tone & Burn - and really enjoyee them! I find they put me in a good mood so I might start doing them before work to get the day off to a good start :)

SheHasAWildHeart · 17/02/2015 19:47

And I love how totally normal & lovely Davina and Ed, rather than some of the more "military" style instructors I've followed previously!

stevienickstophat · 17/02/2015 20:09

They are normal aren't they? And very positive about it. They enthuse me ??

PeaceOfWildThings · 17/02/2015 20:12

Thanks stevie! I'm going to get some weights and the phone app when I feel better, in a week.or so. Hope you are all still doing it then!
