The wind was strong today. I ran Wk5 r1 today and started off running into the wind, I felt like I was going nowhere.

Oh yuk, I've got a horrible stomach bug, that rules out tonight's run. Hope I'm ok to run on Friday, I don't want to lose momentum now. I did w4r3 on Sunday, and I have to admit w5 looks a bit daunting, especially that 20 minute run, it seems a massive step up from w4. How did you guys get on with w5?

You'll manage it madmonkey. My advice is set yourself a steady pace that you can maintain for the full 20 minutes.

I managed a windy 5.5k last night. First proper run for a week due to my chesty cough. It was good to get out.

DS and I are looking forward to running club tomorrow night.

Hey Ladies, I completed C25K under a different name earlier in this thread, and have been keeping an eye on the thread.

Felicia my running trousers currently have a large tuck in them. At the waist band I've started stitching about an inch either side of the seam, and taken out a triangle that finishes at the top if my thigh by gradually coming in towards the seam with back stitch. Its still holding a few months later. Might help your trousers falling down situation?

Great running everyone.
