Visa applicants hoping to travel to the US will now have to submit phone numbers and all SM usernames for years as part of their applications.

This means my mum will never be able to visit the US again - she is a total Luddite and will raise all sorts of red flags.

It's all grandstanding, stoking the fires of suspicion and hostility, creating a hostile environment.

It's worth remembering that Roy Cohn (ex Joseph McCarthy henchman) was once Donald Trump's mentor and personal lawyer.

Pretty, I've got loads of veg coming on too. I think our freezer will be full of runner beans, dwarf beans and tomatoes, hopefully. I also think there'll be too many squashes and courgettes as well. I foresee plenty of soup and courgetti! 😂

As bad as that is math surely it won't affect your mum if she's just visiting? It's visas for work or study - not people travelling on an esta for less than three months visit.

Just returned from my holiday in Eurofurrinland. Here we go again.

T-rump has pissed me off today (like all the other days). My veg have been crap, got to go to garden centre and buy plants instead of the seeds I planted and then find some decent slug repellent - read today that a ring of oats around seedlings makes the slugs explode and die?

I'm staying away from the news whilst trump is here.

I'm just not up to it.
