Not just Gibraltar.

British Overseas Territories such as Anguilla and Montserat depend on regular supplies from nearby French and Dutch islands that are fully part of the EU.

KennDodd · 22/03/2019 16:21

Is there a minimum age to sign? My teenagers would like to sign it.

I don't think there is an age limit.

Be a British Citizen or UK resident and you can sign. No mention of age limits.

I am starting a petition to the UK government about the limited hour's people under 16 to work on school days and Sundays as employers won't employ them due to the 'unfair' restricted hours

Oh but it's relevant. When JRM is in charge after a glorious no deal Brexit kids will go back to leaving school at 14 if the pater isn't loaded and have to work down the mines. Well, somewhere.

Decormad38 · 22/03/2019 16:26

That’s why it won’t be taken seriously because it doesn’t reflect the referendum demographic.

MrPan · 22/03/2019 16:33

3million 360,000 currently showing.

It doesn't reflect the exact demographic but there is a significant overlap!

GooodMythicalMorning · 22/03/2019 16:42

ooh it's going so well now.

Frequency · 22/03/2019 16:45

There is a lot of complaining and ridiculing of this petition on comments on news articles about it on FB. E.g. one Romanian guy, saying his brother who never set foot in the UK has signed it. Several saying they've signed multiple times, another saying he got the BT phone book out and made multiple emails to sign and a lot of people saying that a strong majority are not in the UK (whether expats or not I don't know). And TM has apparently said she doesn't care

I read on Facebook the other day that the Earth is flat and Elvis is alive and living in an old folks home. It's definitely true because they were in articles on FB and loads of people commented on them. I also liked and shared a post and I'm waiting for Asda to send me £1000 worth of vouchers.

Laska2Meryls · 22/03/2019 16:52

Elvis is alive, i have just seen him down the Co Op

Great to see the updated constituency figures, Someone on the last thread said that that local MPs get emails when people vote also ..

TM doesn't care.

Well lets show her that we do care.

As I said on the last thread please don't repeat stuff that disses the petition.

Yes there's a margin of error in all petitions; they may be a limited tool. BUT they are something. Over 48% of us have been completely ignored by both main political parties for three years. It is time we had even a limited voice.

A huge proportion of the 3 million of the signatures are authentic and that sends a message to our right honourable cabinet of esteemed leaders. It sends an international message too, that our Prime Minister doesn't speak for us.

lonelyplanetmum · 22/03/2019 16:58

If you have an MP who ignores constituents...its a way to have your voices heard. Even if you don't know what the Brexit solution is- signing the petitios sends a message to your MP that the constituents are not happy.

Please will people in Rees Mogg and Liam Fox's constituency sign it!

Brizzlemint · 22/03/2019 17:06

Bristol West is doing the country proud Grin

mymadworld · 22/03/2019 17:12

adulthumanwolf · 22/03/2019 17:18

Come on South Cambridgeshire! 12013 signed.

Everytimeref · 22/03/2019 17:20

I signed it 2 days ago but didn't get an confirmation email does that mean it didn't register?

adulthumanwolf · 22/03/2019 17:21

Did it go to your junk? Mine did.

Everytimeref · 22/03/2019 17:34

I looked at junk mail but couldn't see it. Think will sign it again.
