I hope that T May has a good place to hide.

I imagine that was intended as a veiled threat of violence?

You seem remarkably unacquainted with basic facts about your country's constitution and system of government.

But despite making vague threats about violence towards elected representatives, and despite not having the foggiest clue about how your country is run, I expect you like to call yourself a "democrat" and a "patriot".

MayhemNowCertain · 08/04/2019 09:54

government will make it at least 60/40 which massive amounts of remain voters on these threads have said is logical

So why is it in the past that parties have come into power that have less than 60% of the vote. Under the current system it is mathematically possible to get into power with fewer votes in total than the other parties.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/04/2019 09:56

GE are different to referendums

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/04/2019 09:57

Hasnt that been explained before (in much more detail than my post above)

Im sure ive read it, maybe not on this thread

{If one person by themselves can ignore a vote cast by 17.4 million I hope that T May has a good place to hide.}

Sounds like a threat of violence to me, should it be reported?

MayhemNowCertain · 08/04/2019 10:01

Someone somewhere will be working out how to take advantage of the turmoil in UK. Would not be surprised if some form of terrorist group appears as no matter what the outcome is there are millions of people going to be unhappy.

Possible that such group has no interest in Brexit, but can use the turmoil as camouflage make trouble and call themselves either the "Remain Patriots" or the "Leave Patriots".

Once people have been betrayed/humiliated/cheated, etc., they can be capable of anything. Suicide bombers are a good example. IRA, etc.

I wouldn't bother tbh, this one is just a weirdo who wants Brexit even though they seem to think it will mean living out a violent fantasy in which the PM is killed by suicide bombers.

I tend to think this sort of deranged narrative is best left in full public view. I only report the racist ones.

JustAnotherPoster00 · 08/04/2019 10:24

Mayhem do you get paid per word or per post? just wondering about employment after your paymasters take over

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/04/2019 10:28

I know there are people being paid for online posts

Any idea how one would get into that line of business, cos i can caps lock with the best of them

Its just i appear to be posting for free...which seems silly really

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/04/2019 10:28

I reckon its per word...anyone remember claig

Mistigri · 08/04/2019 10:29

I think this person is just bored and attention-seeking. This isn't the only threat of violence - on another related thread there's one about a failure to Brexit triggering a 9/11 type terrorist attack. If you were genuinely being paid to promote a cause then you'd be posting the official talking points, not talking about suicide bombers killing the PM.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/04/2019 10:30

They just might not be very good at it misti

Getting a bit over excited

DontMakeMeShushYou · 08/04/2019 13:21

The counter argument is that UK has a population of 67 million. Therefore 61 million have not signed the petition? The remainers argue that 50 million did not vote to leave therefore leave is not the will of the people. Surely the same logic has to be applied to the petition?

As I explained clearly to you before, this is lazy, ignorant, and ill-informed reasoning. Posting the same 'logic' again, albeit several days later, does not make it any less lazy, ignorant and ill-informed.

So why is it in the past that parties have come into power that have less than 60% of the vote. Under the current system it is mathematically possible to get into power with fewer votes in total than the other parties.

And this is relevant because … Hmm
