Brexiteers, if there was a 'People's Vote' how would you vote?

For me? I'd flatly vote No Deal.

Would others vote to stay in the EU or agree to Teresa May's deal?

Everyone I know who voted Leave would still vote Leave (the same goes for those who voted Remain) so I'd be really curious to see what the outcome of a 2nd referendum would generate.

We have a mutual defence arrangement, it’s called NATO. Any alternate grouping can only really be a rival to that and I can’t imagine why a NATO member would want to be in one?

KennDodd in a way, a sad way, what you say does not surprise me.

These folk who voted for this brexshit, were misled into thinking it would be in their interests. If you lose your job, it must be the fault of the EU ( that's what you would think if you have been drip-fed poison for most of your life by the Express, Daily Mail, Sun or Telegraph).

Not all of those who voted to leave in 2016 are stupid but a lot of them are, and even those who should know better have their heads in the sand.

Motheroffourdragons Who will control and sanction the use of an EU army, like all things EU, we were told an EU army would never happen, here we are, how do you know in the future it would not be used against a member state, ( you cant say for certain it will never happen )

All EU countries have armies so it is mostly the 'cooperation' part that needs discussing.
The chances of Russia attacking the UK are far higher than others from the EU. Russia is continually edging into 'UK airspace', mostly to be annoying, but it would not take much of a misunderstanding for things to escalate downwards very fast. Watch the 'scrap' between Russia and Ukraine happening now.

In which case the nations of Europe who are NATO members need to spend the required amount to provide for their own defence. An alternative command structure can only reduce the proportion of overall defence spending which is allocated to personnel and equipment. Europe has relied on the continuing good will of the American taxpaÅ·er for its defence for far too long!

I think part of Poland and certainly some of the other Eastern EU countries were occupied by Russia not long back, either in current memory or certainly grandparents lifetimes. Even pulling cabbages in torrential rain in the UK for 'peanuts' is better.

There are actions being taken in many places around the world that do not normally hit the headlines were a whole range of EU country's troops are either 'peacekeeping' or actively fighting ISIS. Quite a few in Northern Sahara IIRC trying to prevent mass killings and provide a bit of stability. The upshot is that fewer try to trek to Europe as refugees.

I would vote REMAIN again because I have taken the trouble to look at the evidence.

Unfortunately there is a serious risk that the malign forces which influenced many to vote leave two and a half years ago would go into hyperdrive and the same folk would allow themselves to be brainwashed yet again.
