I'm not sure whether it's a bit early in the year for ebaying but I still have mountains of stuff to get rid of!!. Most of the over 99p stuff I had has sold but there is still a lot of things here that might be of interest to others.

After feeling a bit fed of ebay before Christmas I seem to have recovered a bit of enthusiasm for it again after receiving some lovely feedback on items that I didn't expect (I need to have more confidence in what I'm selling!!).

Anyone else want to join me?

Tortoise · 27/02/2010 10:11

It's age 5-6 yrs. My DS2 is Man u mad he would love your DS's room lol!

I seem to be having a run of buying problems this week!

1st seller sent my item plus a separate parcel with someone else's item in! They have paypalled me the money to post it on for them!

2nd Seller is now not registered on Ebay, they have said item is on it's way! We shall see!!

3rd seller listed Girls dress as age 5-6. Arrived this morning and it is too small for DD2. label says 4-5 yrs!

Going to have a sort out of DD1 and DD2's draws today to see what fits and what doesn't.

Wondering if it is too early to list crop trousers? Sure most of the girls summer clothes won't fit this year but is it worth getting them out the loft yet?

ElizabethWakefield · 27/02/2010 11:26

That's annoying Tortoise

I was wondering the same about more summery stuff, as most of it is baby clothes I have decided to hold off, as the babies who would fit it in the summer wont even be born yet, iyswim

I am going to have a clear out of more of my stuff again today, I have 2 bin bags full already, but I know I have more stuff. Can't wait to be rid of it all!

roosterroo · 27/02/2010 15:35

Hello, can I join a bit late I know but we have finally got a new router - so sm going to start listing again!

I have a Gamecube with controllers and about 5 games, whats the best way to list?as one big lot or the games on their own? I do avoid selling games as i know nothing about them

items on now

Tortoise · 27/02/2010 15:40

@ you selling your mumsnet toddlers guide book!

I would sell the gamecube as a whole bundle.

roosterroo · 27/02/2010 16:03

Got to admit the guide was a great read but I've not looked at it for months!!and two boys are enough for me - Im not planning on any more.

Ds2 is really into thunderbirds so am raising some funds to buy yet more - ebay tends to be the only place i can find any

MrsMorgan · 01/03/2010 16:19

I have loads and loads of stuff I need to put on.

Are we allowed to link to our listings on here ?

Tortoise · 01/03/2010 19:30

MrsM We do! So go ahead and link if you want to.

I am about to start listing! I have 2 PS3 games, and a huge pile of Girls 4-5/5-6 clothes to list. Think i will do some in small bundles to make it quicker.

MrsMorgan · 01/03/2010 22:12

Oh good

I have loads of girls clothes and some ladies stuff too.

Will start listing it all tomorrow.

Tortoise · 01/03/2010 22:32

tonights mass listing!

ElizabethWakefield · 02/03/2010 12:24

Looks good, tortoise!

I am going to try and add some more stuff either tonight or tomorrow. All my shoes end tomorrow night and are doing not to badly so far!

PurpleFrog · 02/03/2010 12:36

Tortoise - I had a look at your PS3 games as dd has splurged her life savings on a PS3 and has about 2 games to play on it. I notice that the description is the same for both - you have forgotten to change the details for the Smack Down VS Raw 2008 one!

Tortoise · 02/03/2010 12:52

Ooh thanks purplefrog. Will go sort that.

MrsMorgan · 03/03/2010 11:35

I have finally made a start at listing [http://shop.ebay.co.uk/cherishedchildrensclothing/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1 here]

MrsMorgan · 03/03/2010 11:36

Try again

ElizabethWakefield · 04/03/2010 17:17

Looks good Mrs Morgan, good luck

I sold 8 pairs of shoes last night, I'll relist the others later on and have a few duplicates to add, and hopefully get a few other things on too.

ElizabethWakefield · 04/03/2010 19:12

Right I think that is me done for tonight!

here is my stuff

Tortoise · 04/03/2010 19:24

EW Am watching your girl's raincoat. DD1 has grown out of nearly all her clothes! Will be looking for 7-8 if you have more to list.

ElizabethWakefield · 04/03/2010 19:35

I was excited seeing I had a watcher right away!! I also have one on the brownie jacket.

I'll have a look over the weekend to see what else I have in 7-8 and let you know.

It is a really nice jacket, you know when you feel quite sad when your DC grows out of something you like, I felt like that with that jacket

Tortoise · 04/03/2010 19:38

IKWYM
Think the only thing she probably has enough of is jeans as i found a big pile of them in the loft that i was given about 3 yrs ago!

Tortoise · 06/03/2010 15:23

All my listings end tonight. So far 11 out of 21 have a bid/bids.

Tortoise · 06/03/2010 20:00

YES! Mini Boden jumper made £6.51! Will see how much i make in total later.

Tortoise · 06/03/2010 22:50

Made about £26 tonight. Not bad but would have liked some higher bids on some items! Have some to re-list tomorrow too.

ElizabethWakefield · 08/03/2010 09:56

That's not too bad. Good for the Boden jumper. I have about 7 bids currently but none really over 99p, but there is still a day and a bit to go, so fingers crossed.
