I'm not sure whether it's a bit early in the year for ebaying but I still have mountains of stuff to get rid of!!. Most of the over 99p stuff I had has sold but there is still a lot of things here that might be of interest to others.

After feeling a bit fed of ebay before Christmas I seem to have recovered a bit of enthusiasm for it again after receiving some lovely feedback on items that I didn't expect (I need to have more confidence in what I'm selling!!).

Anyone else want to join me?

that meant to be 150 not 130

notcitrus · 19/02/2010 20:35

Just sold another few bits and got fast feedback from someone confirming an item worked, which is nice - I think after taking off free postage it's another £28 or so, so that's about £225 in total this year.

Have a large bag of computer bits for Freecycle or more likely the tip.

notcitrus · 19/02/2010 21:35

had a scare though - couldn't find one of the items I'd sold! Tidied most of the house before MrNC found it...

Tortoise · 19/02/2010 21:49

tonights listed items

Have 3 watchers on the Slendertone shorts already!

Tortoise · 19/02/2010 22:24

Have a bid already. On a jumper which has been listed 3-4 times now!

MumGoneCrazy · 20/02/2010 19:43

I think ive got addicted to Ebay

I've spent most of what ive earned already

The postie has been weighed down with parcels the last few days

MumGoneCrazy · 20/02/2010 19:45

If you win an item and you know the seller is a MNer, are you allowed to comment on MN or is it hush hush?

Tortoise · 20/02/2010 20:26

If they are on this thread i guess it is ok but i wouldn't post it anywhere else.
Although, that depends if you are happy with purchase lol! Think i would want to know if an MNer was a dodgy seller.

MumGoneCrazy · 20/02/2010 20:51

It is you tortoise

Not dodgy though lol....DD1 loves the vtech dora laptop, i had to drag it out of her hands to put her to bed, she's been playing with it all day

Even though i broke a bit off it
I pulled it open and a little orange bit snapped off, i didnt notice that you had to push the sides in to open it

Works perfect though...Thank you

Tortoise · 20/02/2010 21:20

lol! Glad all ok. Shame you broke a bit off though. Hope your DD1 has loads of fun with it like my DD1 did .

Tortoise · 21/02/2010 19:41

Slendertone shorts are upto £21 already .

Tortoise · 22/02/2010 20:55

Slendertone shorts sold for £43!
Skinny jeans didn't sell as well as i had hoped.

Am i the only one on this thread? Where have you all gone?

MumGoneCrazy · 23/02/2010 13:41

I listed 15 items on wednesday only 4 sold

Do them slendertone shorts really make a difference then?

Tortoise · 23/02/2010 16:38

No idea, i only used them once. Too tight for my fat thighs and such a faff to put on. I didn't actually buy them new but they are new as the invoice is in the box.

So far 4 items will sell with 8 bids overall.

MumGoneCrazy · 23/02/2010 20:06

I bought a pair of control pants before that i couldn't get over my thighs then they got stuck and i couldn't get them off as they were so tight I had to ask DP to help me

sixlostmonkeys · 24/02/2010 20:02

awww I didn't win the star wars DS game ... I knew I should have placed a higher bid......

Tortoise · 24/02/2010 20:26

That's a shame six. I have listed that so many times at £4.99 start that i dropped it to £3.99. Happy it sold this time!

{shock]at the muddy puddles waterproof trousers being bid up to £7.50 so far!

notcitrus · 24/02/2010 22:35

Got +ve feedback from all the computer bits saying they work, which is a big relief. And more for the piles for council to collect (they come free a couple times a year, so need to make sure we have as much as possible for them!)

Not sure what else would sell - MrNC is thinking of getting rid of some tools once the loft is done. Give me ideas!

MumGoneCrazy · 25/02/2010 12:21

I love Ebay

I met one Ebayer who i could of kissed

She had a small bundle of baby clothes on auction, plus some disney bottles and a few dresses so i asked her if she would do them all on BIN and if i could collect as she was only 10minutes away

She said yes and took them off and said i could pay on collection £10 the lot, then when i asked for directions as i needed to catch the bus there she said she would bring them to me and brought them round the next morning.

And if that wasn't brill enough she also gave me an extra bag of stuff for nothing

There was 50 pairs of socks, 8 pairs of tights, 3 hats, 2 frilly knickers for under dresses, a hat and glove set and 5 pairs of soft shoes

Tortoise · 25/02/2010 12:24

Aww that's lovely. There are some decent Ebayers around.

mogs0 · 25/02/2010 19:08

I'm back! I've been on my hols for a week and missed the free listing days but am going to make a big effort to list things this weekend.

I've only sold one item so far for 99p ! I swear I'm jinxed whenever I start these threads!!

Tort - I sold a waterproof Jo-Jo all-in-one thingy before Christmas for over £20. I think it only cost £10 to start with.

MumGoneCrazy - you got a good price for your ds lit. My dson would like to upgrade his to the dsi so I might consider it if he can get a decent amount for the ds lite.

Notcitrus - well done! You've almost made the target! I'd better pull my finger out and get listing!!

Hi, I am a bit late but would it be ok if I joined in?

Haven't sold anything since before Xmas, but really want to get back into it again and make some money for summer.

I have listed 16 things tonight, have loads more, but want to stagger it a bit for posting. They are all baby shoes and all new

Here they are here

Tortoise · 26/02/2010 20:06

Hi EW
That is a lot of baby shoes lol!

I will probably list sunday night unless boredom sets in tonight!

MumGoneCrazy · 26/02/2010 20:23

I cant wait til sunday to see what you got this time

Tortoise · 26/02/2010 20:43
