I usually say how much the stuff has sold for, but you can do it either way.

I've got LOADS to say, mostly small bits that'll probably go for 99p or thereabouts , but I want to have a proper clear out before/straight after I move so another ebay challenge seemed like a good idea.

The figure (£300) was just a random one, I'll be surprised if I make that much, but you never know

I am going to pick through every room in the house and be really ruthless. Doubt I will make 300 but the more the better!

yea I'm going to go through each room too, got to start packing up stuff that's not used regularly so I've got less to do when I find somewhere to move to.

I've already got a few boxes of bits in my room (sold some of the contents of them before Christmas on ebay) so will just make some more, I'll make sure I pack the boxes properly though so if I haven't sold it by the time I move I can eaisly see which boxes are ebay stuff

I did a car boot the week before christmas and some one got a real bargain I had a pippen video which sells for about £10- 15 on ebay but was short of cash ... but it ended up in the 50p box and was sold in the dark before I relised I wanted a fiver for it lol

I'm in, am skint and the house is overflowing with stuff, the DS's had loads for Christmas and I could get rid of their old toys without them even noticing.

When are you strating to list? Is it busy around now?

Would like to make enough to cover the DS's birthday presents/party (both in March)

yes not bad thanks Snowballz - got a headache, which I'd LOVE to say is a hangover, but it's a combinatio of forgetting to turn the heating down low (so waking up with it being too hot) and caffeine withdrawal after substituting a small (25cl) bottle of wine last night for my usuall multiple coffess

(plus DS's makings lots of noise as per usual)

I will pass out if I think what I have done today - off topof my head I have done 2 loads of washing and drying, including stripping and changing our king size bed, washed 3 loads of pots, gathered and listed Ebay stuff, tidied tins cupboard, . . . I need to get a life!!

FAQ: if I were to send you a box of stuff, would you flog it for me?

I know this is a really cheeky and demanding thing to ask, but I daren't sell them myself. Every time I've sold on Ebay it's been a total disaster, as I cannot resist spending my earnings immediately on more tat I don't need. In fact, I've deliberately 'forgotten' my login details to prevent any more useless Ebay buying...

Possible incentives...:

• you could keep a percentage of the profits (you decide what's appropriate - 50%?)

• I'd send you a cheque for the listing costs

• you could have any of the things I send, if you like them or could use them

• I'm not bothered about making a lot of cash, but these seem a bit nice just to charity shop, IYSWIM
