Haven't listed anything yet, but going to be starting to pack for my move soon, so as I go along I'll list stuff I don't want to keep.

Anyone going to join me???

I've just listed a graco stadium duo. I had sold it before Christmas (£51) but forgot to put in the listing that the basket was damaged so I offered for the buyer to pull out and he did. I re-listed it last night and I have 8 watchers so far and someone asking for a BIN. So it might be worth listing.

OneDS · 05/01/2009 23:10

Ooh thanks mogs0 that sounds promising

Lilyloo · 06/01/2009 13:43

Are you finding things sell now ??
Not sure whether to wait a couple of weeks although need the room ?

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 06/01/2009 19:41

Lilyloo- I have listed 5 things, pram- sold on buy-it-now within 2 days, paid cash when collected the next day (and it was only a stroller not a massive pram or anything!!)... then i've got 22 watchers on my bike trailer and bids aswell, also had a couple of people ask about buy-it-now's but have bids now so can't... had some girls clarks on, sold at a buy-it-now of £5, have a boys timberland coat on and its got 4 watchers and a bid already, and have a bike helmest set on which has 2 watchers too- so i'm thinking now is a good time to sell- i dont often get many bids until the last few days... i put everything on 10day listings too, and all but the pram were only listed yesterday morning!!

mumofdjandbabies · 06/01/2009 21:43

sorry for delay glasham think better go canny on swapsies and just sell , looked at bank account

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 07/01/2009 09:12

no probs mumofDJ- i gathered there must have been a reason you'd not got back to me. Think i've got a sling off a friend now too!! wuhoo!!

Tortoise · 07/01/2009 13:21

I have cleared out DD's room and have toys and books ready to sell plus girls 3/4 clothes and boys 2/3 mostly to sell.
Going to try on MN for a few days then maybe list on Ebay friday.
Just need to get all the pics uploaded to photo bucket site!

FAQtothefuture · 07/01/2009 13:23

I may be delaying the start of my ebaying....

I sent off my form for the budgetting loan yesterday (so fingers crossed there)

BUT, more importantly, I went to look at a house this morning, and I think it's "the one"!!!!

Tortoise · 07/01/2009 13:34

yay FAQ. Budgeting loan will take a few weeks. You will get a letter saying if they agree to the loan and telling you the pay back rate. You have to sign it and return it to confirm you are happy with that arrangement. Then they will send another letter telling you when you will recieve the money.

FAQtothefuture · 07/01/2009 13:35

yeah I'm not expecting to hear from them anytime soon LOL.

Thankfully this h ouse is on the No Deposit Scheme (so small monthly payments) which means that I don't need to find the money for the deposit for it

Tortoise · 07/01/2009 13:52

That is good FAQ.

I will be able to list on Ebay soon now. Gall bladder op now changed to the 28th jan .

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 07/01/2009 14:16

oooh- my bike trailer has been on ebay since monday, and it currently has bids up to £21 and 28 watchers!!!!!! how mad is that??? also the boys Timberland coat i listed has been bid up to £12.50 with 6 watchers!! I'm so happy..... think the money is going to be all gobbled up though.... the pram money i made has bought in-car dvd players, and i want a pram for DC3... and the one's i'm looking at are about £300 for the whole packages..... DH wont be happy though as i already have a pram!!

good thing is the money i was raising was going towards our holiday, and the in-car dvd players were on our list to buy before our holz, so thats not 'cost' us out of our normal money... and i also needed a small lightweight pushchair, and i think i can get a pram combo that will get me a pram i can use on hols... then i'll just need a sling aswell.

Tortoise · 07/01/2009 14:54

Right, pics all uploaded and thread started on MN here Hope some sell!

Lilyloo · 08/01/2009 12:20

Am going to list tonight then i think for 10 days to finish Sunday!

I am not repeat not buying anything though!

Good news Faq hope it is the one!

Glak that is great news fingers crossed they go for more then!

Tort hope you sell i am purposely not even looking at mn for anything as my paypal is now 0!

Wuxiapian · 09/01/2009 06:13

A few very lovely post xmas bits.

mogs0 · 09/01/2009 17:21

I wish someone would bid on my items because I'm getting board of hitting refresh! I've got 33 watchers on my buggy and I know they'll probably wait until the last few minutes to bid but I just wish they'd bid now!!!

Tortoise · 09/01/2009 21:05

How is everyone doing?
I need to get some listing done but can't see it being tonight now. Am really tired.
No interest on MN so far. I doubt people are buying much at the moment anyway.

mogs0 · 09/01/2009 22:04

I've had 3 bids since I posted on here. Maybe some of my watchers are MNers!!! 2 of my auctions have 63 watchers between them! Would be nice if they all placed a bid!!!

I have a mountain of stuff to put on this weekend but also need to do my tax return so should probably concentrate on that first otherwise any ebay money I get will be going on the fine I get from HMRC!!

FAQtothefuture · 10/01/2009 07:41

Tortoise - I got a letter from then this morning!!! (I only posted the letter on Tuesday) they've offered me one - £88 less than I'd asked for - but I had asked for a lot so that £88 won't make any difference - going to drag the DS's into town today to return the form.

mogs0 · 11/01/2009 12:19

Woohoo! The reserve has been met on my buggy!! It has 37 watchers now and finishes at 7pm so I might get a couple more bids before it ends. I'll be so relieved when it's out of the house because I have far too many pushchairs!

PersephoneSnape · 11/01/2009 12:36

i have 60+ things ending tonight and the princely sum of £12.97 so far. just covering my listing fee at the mo.

mogs0 · 11/01/2009 12:53

OMG - 60+? Do you use TL? Have you got many watchers? I'm sure there'll be a flurry of last-minute bids. How many items have bids on?

mogs0 · 11/01/2009 14:10

Right, I can't cope anymore! I seem to have spent most of the day, so far, checking the bids on my ebay stuff then feel disappointed when each item is the same as it was 10 miutes before!! So, I'm going out and will not be looking at my ebay account until 20 minutes before the auctions end!!!

Wuxiapian · 11/01/2009 14:53

Only watchers on my few bits. Oh no, I have one Molton Brown bid. Yippee!

Have so much more to list, but it's so time and energy consuming. Tut.

PersephoneSnape · 11/01/2009 18:14

yes, i love my turbo lister! 4 have bids now - up at £16.96. bid you buggers! bid!
