Thank you Tortoise!

£300 sounds like a good aim. I made about £65 last night so quite pleased with that.

Going to try and list some more stuff over the weekend, but i have been banned for 30 days from listing some makes due to the crazy new counterfeit rules Hmm

Here is what I have on just now it is some relisted from last night.

TheNextMrsDepp · 05/09/2010 01:20

I really must get cracking on the HUGE pile of stuff in the loft. I used to eBay all the time, but I fell out of the habit. Maybe you ladies will inspire me.....

Tortoise · 05/09/2010 09:17

Yay! Welcome Ebayers Smile.

Well done SNOW. That was quick feedback. Smile

I need to work out what other bits i can sell! Don't think i have anything worth more than £1 or 2!

LoveBeingOnEbay · 05/09/2010 09:25

Tortoise · 05/09/2010 09:42

OP posts:
LoveBeingOnEbay · 05/09/2010 12:07

Thanks tortoise, we did quite well cause also had a couple of bin that went too. Grin

btw has anyone had any problems with the selling app, mine auto added and old email address so couldnt get hold of the money cause loads of probelms and got me my first ever neg feedback Sad

NappyShedSal · 06/09/2010 02:11

Yeah - made £117 tonight (well minus fees etc- do we all just ignore those?!)

Still got 15 items left that finish on Wednesday. Then I need to start listing again - I reckon I should make £300 by christmas (and probably spend alot more though!)

AddictedToRadley · 06/09/2010 02:52

Oooohhhh Can I join? I've been a buyer on EBay for a while with 100% feedback and have loads to sell but been a bit nervous because of the rip off scams I've heard about. Desperate for cash though so will go for it!

Is it easy to list something as a first time seller ie I have a 15ft Quick up pool that I bought for £175 and found my garden is on a slight hill!! I want £100 minimum so how do I go about it? Do I add I. That it can be a heated pool if you buy bits that are around £40 or not because I don't have them? Sorry to hijack a little but definitely want to join the £300 target by Xmas.

TYIA x

Tortoise · 06/09/2010 12:34

Well done NappyShed Smile

AddictedToRadley Welcome. Smile It is pretty easy to sell, i have been for years and only had 1 or 2 problems.
If you have a minimum you want to get, then you can list with a reserve or have that as your start price (Listing fee would be higher though). Good luck.

Tortoise · 06/09/2010 20:05

Yay! Grin Guitar sold on BIN. They are collecting it tomorrow. Bit annoyed they paid paypal when i put cash on collection but nevermind.

Other items are doing OK. Laptop bits are doing pretty good.
About to list a couple of other bits.

OP posts:
Tortoise · 06/09/2010 20:55

OMG! I listed a PC tower on BIN £45 and it sold within about 10 mins. I bought it for £41 a few weeks ago but made a mistake, seller would accept returns. Well, now i have made £4 profit!!! (Wish i had listed it for £50!) Grin
Have listed a couple of other bits too.

OP posts:
AddictedToRadley · 07/09/2010 01:23

Well done on the BINs. I might try that first with the pool, although think I should perhaps have sold it a couple of months ago!! Oh well you live and learn. If I don't get the £100 I may keep hold of it until next year and try selling when the weather's good instead of on the turn like now!! Going to get sorting through things to put on eBay. Does anyone know if you can list via an iPhone? Or does it need to be computer? Thanks x

Tortoise · 07/09/2010 10:58

Another item sold on BIN Grin MP3 player sold for £55. Just waiting for payment!

If possible, i would hold onto the pool until next year, but i may sell. No idea about iphone tbh.

OP posts:
notcitrus · 07/09/2010 17:33

Will join in - have been amassing stuff over the summer for the next listing session.
Anyone want a laptop cable?!

WhatTheFrack · 07/09/2010 17:44

I'll join in, DH and I had a good old sort out at the weekend, I'd love to make £300 that would pay for Christmas.

Don't know how to do a link and show you all our stuff though. A couple of the CD's already have bids and the other stuff has a few watchers, so I'm hopeful.

WhatTheFrack · 07/09/2010 17:46

I've worked out how to do it, this is the stuff we listed at the weekend.

here you go

Tortoise · 07/09/2010 20:21

WhatTheFrack Good luck with your items. On the clotheslisting, i would put the size in the title. Smile

NotCitrus Good to see you. Smile

OP posts:
Tortoise · 08/09/2010 16:13

About 16 items ending tonight. 10 will sell 39 bids so far!

OP posts:
notcitrus · 08/09/2010 19:37

Just bid on your grobag Tortoise!
Suspect will get outbid but it looked like a bargain for a grobag without poppers over the shoulders (which ds undoes and then complains he's cold...)
