Either I'm very stupid or Turbolister is shit. Or both. See thread I started... :(
2 hours wasted and can't list tomorrow as ds's birthday.

5 toddlers in the house. Argh...

SingleMumAndProud · 11/09/2010 20:08

Tortoise - can I cancel it though if I have bids? They all got the original 99p bid very quickly?

Tortoise · 11/09/2010 20:11

Yes i think you can still cancel if has bids. I think you get some options as to why you want to cancel.

As per previous thread I found all the stuff I'd done, and have 14 items listed. Although have to amend one as a 'gift set' is now 'a crushed box plus bowl, spoon and sippy cup', thanks to Act of Toddler.

But the party went really well.

Listings here.
Have a few more things to add.

Tortoise · 12/09/2010 19:12

I have a pile of items to list tonight including various random bits from old PC tower! (Luckily my Brother is here, he dismantled and will be able to tell me what each bit is! Grin)

OhCobblers · 12/09/2010 22:36

what motivation a free listeing w/e !!

here is my link ............. i think!

if you have time to look i'd be interested in your thoughts - perhaps i've listed the toys a little too high? thanks

my listings

Tortoise · 12/09/2010 22:55

my items
Finally finished for tonight! DS1 decided he wanted to sell his Robot Wars toys and he is very glad he did! The miniBots that he has, some sell for £20 for one! Already has 2 with a bid.
Took me ages to list PC bits and pieces. Brother didn't know exactly what some are and he is too busy on WOW to help! I was getting very frustrated! Angry They better bring in some pennies!!!

OP posts:
Tortoise · 12/09/2010 22:57

OhCobblers Your items look fine. If they don't sell you can lower prices when you re-list. Fingers crossed for bidders. Smile

OP posts:
mygirllollipop · 13/09/2010 11:35

I should join these again, I always do pathetically due to not listing much! But we are hopefully moving and so need less clutter and more cash.

Tortoise · 13/09/2010 12:52

I hate it when i get asked for a BIN price. I normally say make me an offer to consider but they said in the email, don't ask me to make an offer!

OP posts:
OhCobblers · 13/09/2010 13:30

is that what you suggest to do Tortoise?
i've just been asked for a BIN price (i do say in my listing i'll give one) and now worried that it was too low - 'cos if they're asking that means they really want it right?!!

Tortoise · 13/09/2010 14:18

ohCobblers I do normally ask them to make me an offer to consider just to get a rough idea of what they are thinking of. Then i would either accept or ask if they would pay £x. Depends on completed listings of other items similar. Smile

OP posts:
Tortoise · 14/09/2010 22:10

Grrr! I hate it when i get an email asking where their items is when only a few days ago!
Won and paid on the 10th, asking today where item is! Hmm 4 days ago and 2 of those days were a weekend!

OP posts:
OhCobblers · 16/09/2010 14:33

up to £65 today with a ton of stuff to still be added and loads ending on the w/end!!

how about the rest of you ladies?

LoveBeing · 16/09/2010 15:55

I'm getting really fed up of people putting on their feedback they had to chase me when what they mean is they won on sat and email to ask on mon where it is [grr]

Tortoise · 16/09/2010 19:12

LoveBeing I would reply to feedback like that. Smile

Very slow going on my items at mo! Need to sort out more to list but don't have much good stuff! Grin

OP posts:
Tortoise · 16/09/2010 20:19

Looks like i have feedback to reply to now! I am so Angry AngryAngry and can't understand why they have left neg feedback.
There reason was 'got my adress mixed up so had problems delivering to me'.
Yes i do seem to have put 18 instead of 81 but i contacted her as soon as i had an email from DHL tracking saying address not found. I found the contact number for the DHL branch which had the parcel and she phoned and sorted it from there.
Easy (and yes, silly) error but how does it require neg feedback?

Any ideas how to reply?

OP posts:
LoveBeing · 17/09/2010 08:41

You can send a feedback revision form to her, I managed to get one changed from neg to nut that way.

I just think people are using it more and expecting too much they forget its normal people and not a business. If I wasnt so in need of the money I'd never sell on there again.

Tortoise · 17/09/2010 09:48

Thanks LoveBeing. I sent an email asking why neg. Waiting to see if i get a reply then will decide where to go from there. Didn't know i could ask them to revise feedback.

OP posts:
tellnoone · 17/09/2010 10:07

I got someone to revise their negative feedback for me once.
See whatbthey say and hopefully they will be reasonable. I explained to my buyer that I just wanted to sell a few things and buy a few things and wanted to keep a good reputation, actually I laid it on a bit thick and she agreed to revise.

Does anyone ever feel a bit guilty at something selling for much much more that you expected? I am shocked that a skirt of mine sold for about £15 last night. But I'm happy that I recouping money to spend for Christmas.

My totals so far, last week kids clothes £27, this week baby outfit and ladies skirt (neither of which sold last week) £20. This doesn't include p&p or fees.

Still have bnib hot wheels big thing to list, futon, more clothes etc, just getting round to doing the listings is a chore.

notcitrus · 17/09/2010 12:51

I get worried when stuff I think is bits of tat go for high amounts, as I fret they will then complain about something.

Don't think my current items are going to sell well, but MrNC has found a couple more bits as we go through his wardrobes...

roosterroo · 17/09/2010 14:27

Hi toroise , can I ask these robot wars things are they small - I think we have a heap of these there about 3-4 cms and heavy metal things they belong to DS1 but Im sure he hasnt looked at them for months!

Tortoise · 17/09/2010 17:41

Yes about that size, metal, pull back and go from robot wars. Smile Not much interest so far though which is a shame.

OP posts:
JudyPink · 19/09/2010 21:32
