Glad you’re doing better @Overlyanxious. Yes, I started my job on Tuesday.

How did you get on at the doctors @KLO0224? Have they said when you can expect to get your results?

Well I went for the blood test, it was traumatic 😂 they couldn’t get blood for ages, 7 attempts later in various parts of my body they managed to get what they needed!
They said I could hear tomorrow failing that it would be Monday. Just done another test and it’s positive still.
So nothing new from me really.
My urine was very cloudy when I did my test just now, maybe I am dehydrated and that’s why they couldn’t get blood either? Or should I be more worried?

That’s definitely stronger than before @KLO0224 the test line is stealing dye from the control line. It’s also not FMU. Have you braved your digital yet?

I’ve just googled it and it says cloudy urine in early pregnancy can be due to dehydration, a change in hormones or a uti. If you don’t have any pain I would probably rule out the uti though @KLO0224

@Waiting2BAMummy no not yet, il save it for Saturday or Sunday! What does stealing dye mean? It looked darker to me.
All the reading in forums and Facebook groups I’ve done have all resulted in miscarriage when getting positive tests following a period like bleed. I just can’t muster up any hope at the minute!
I’m feeling emotional because our original due date from the first pregnancy is in a few days so I’m full of ‘what it’s’ at the minute 🙁

I’ve just examined my wee again and it’s gone back clear! Panic over. No no pain or anything either. They dipped my sample today at the doctors and all was ok. And their test was positive too.

It means that there is so much due in the test line that the control line is lighter than the test line because the test line is using so much dye @KLO0224.

I understand why you feel that way and I’m sure you don’t want to get your hopes up only to get bad news but you had a negative before your bleed and didn’t get a positive until after so your situation isn’t the same as there’s.

For what it’s worth I have a good feeling about this for you and I just hope that I’m right x

If I can get to the 13th that will match the length of the first pregnancy so that’s my goal for now!

That's such a strong line. Hoping so much for a good result for you. I think if HCG is over about 1500 then you should be able to see something on a scan. So pleased you've finally got to see someone.

I've been checking the thread all day for an update. Thinking of you.

How is everyone? I don’t have any update on the test results. It will be Monday now. But I did build up the courage to do the Clearblue test.

I hope it is, I can’t get my hopes up yet though. Hopefully they will offer us a scan to put our minds at rest. If not I may book a private reassurance scan?

That sounds like a plan @KLO0224 you’ll drive yourselves crazy if you have to wait until 12 weeks. Hopefully they will offer you one anyway, to make sure everything is okay.

After everything you’ve been through I completely understand you not wanting to get your hopes up.

I can’t imagine what state I will be in in another 5 weeks if this is the real thing!
There’s a scanning place in our main town so won’t have too far to go.

Hopefully you’ll be able to feel a little more settled once you know everything is okay @KLO0224.

The results are in from my blood test on Thursday. HCG level of 7394. I need to go back tomorrow evening for another to see if they are rising but the doctor said it looked good!

I hope they are rising as they should! But I have allowed myself a little happy dance in the kitchen!

Yay. I KNEW they were good strong lines. That's a huge result. Fingers crossed for a good higher figure tomorrow and an easier blood test. Make sure you're fully hydrated first x
