Aww, thank you!
There was no better time or place* to post it anywhere, and at census time there was no GC media push to protest there? If so, I missed it. GC is lower key here, as we're captured more. I'm also generally unconnected, and only heard about Woman's Space Ireland this week, which makes me think -
How cool would it have been to promote women writing their messages on this census 'space', and then share the images en mass in anonymity to force conversation now?
I'm shadow-banned on Twitter and often mistaken for a bot, so no point 🤷🏻♀️. Feel free to share I guess ? but it feels like it shouldn't be alone.
It's Posca acrylic pens, pencil and archival ink. I'm hoping it doesn't stick to the page above, frankly! I'm having fun thinking of someone in enlightened 🤞🏻 2122 hitting the books and figuring out the stickers creators. I originally had a running list of ballsy women* running around the sides, but it didn't 'pop' and then got the sticker and post-it idea. A lady before me had a loose personal note stuck in and the census man had to remove 😮
*I wish I'd worked some of it in - as it appears Maya Forstater's case will be so important in UK workplaces, and as neighbours, it certainly helps the zeitgeist.
