Wolf my heart bleeds for the dear man …. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Curvy - that sucks about the holiday,

Life - My ohhhh feck it is cold camping set up is a camping cot like this Argos one , blanket, thermarest, sleeping bag with sheet inside because I don't like the nylon feel against my skin, and a thin quilt I made. All topped off with a hot water bottle. But that does down to -15. in the North of Scotland in the middle of winter. I also have a wood burner for the Teepee. If you are coming by this way you can borrow the lot.

mummy I hated it when they were clingy...

Today is a NSD..... the first for a while.

Lovemaltesers · 03/08/2020 18:26

Thanks for the new thread wolf

We made the most of the 50% off food with a trip to Burger King. It was delicious! The leisure complex it was on is so quiet though and it is where DP and I met. Feel sad for those who may be imminently losing their jobs Sad . We went to a water slide place too, feel really in the holiday from home mood now!

Found a restaurant gift voucher I’d forgotten about and checked online as thought it would have been out of time now but it’s extended until the end of August. Will book us in on another 50% off day. I recommend other people have a hunt around for unused gift vouchers.

Wolfcub · 03/08/2020 19:07

Does anyone have a futon or very small double sofa bed that they would recommend ?

OP posts:
ememem84 · 03/08/2020 19:46

Checked local drinks shop. £11.99 for 24 cans. The nice tall skinny ones too. Same volume as the “normal” ones.

It is an extortionate price but it was in coffee shop next to the office and would have been cheaper at supermarket. But still.

I hate Monday’s. Dc are always exhausted. I’m irritable because it’s always a catch up day for me as I don’t work Fridays.

LonelyOversharer · 03/08/2020 20:04

Thanks for the thread wolf the only futon I have ever had was from IKEA. Lasted forever.

There is a wasp buzzing around in my bedroom. I suppose I'd better get it before the kitten does. Are all kittens as thick as mince?

Two trays of flapjack made, omitted the peanut butter and used left over granola and about 1/3 very cheap muesli. It's very crunchy and nice.

Tanks for da new fred

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/08/2020 20:21

Lonely they look ace!

NSD today. Will need to get a few bits tomorrow, bread, some vegan feta and probably more fruit.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/08/2020 20:24

£12 ice cream today for day out. £36 Sainsbury's on fresh stuff.

I'm going to borrow some air beds and camping beds on legs. If that doesn't work the whole bloody lot is going on eBay.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/08/2020 20:24

Not sure about beds but IKEA is usually decent.

ememem84 · 03/08/2020 20:49

Annoyed at dh. Both dc just went down easily for him whilst I struggled. Git. 😂

xmummy2princesx · 03/08/2020 22:08

Unfortunately not mrs Grin

It’s my least favourite thing unescorted I think he’s teething so that’s why but it’s just draining.

lonely they look luvly!

em Logan was like that 4 my ex was so annoying!!

I’m not spending 2 much lately due 2 being stuck in. It’s a blessing rly.

ememem84 · 03/08/2020 22:23

Bedtime. Finally.

Watched one more episode of money heist and whilst it was good I need to be in bed.
Catface is here with me.

I bought a neck hot water bottle from
Amazon the other day. It’s amazing. I have so so much tightness in my neck and shoulder and it’s this which is causing my arm pain. Heat is helping until I go to the accupuncturist on Monday.

SingToTheSky · 03/08/2020 22:29

Thanks for new thread!

Spends, yesterday I ordered another book for DS’ birthday, a body brush and moisturiser. Today only about £12 for two course lunch and drink with friends as my local does the EOTHO scheme. DD1 has been asking about pizza express for ages - it was actually closing down before lockdown but it appears to be open again so I may take the Caglets.

Cagletini really made me laugh today - as soon as I got home she told me to wash my hands. She knows the score now 😂 but then this evening she had an hour long tantrum (minus a break where we were looking at the animals on google AR) because, in her words, “I didn’t want my pancake cutted up!” 😂

Must get back onto IKEA sale tomorrow and decide on a wardrobe. I think it was sea who warned me that when we made do with a clothing rail on moving, we’d end up making do for a lot longer than planned. Well, it’s been two years. 😳

SnugglySnerd · 03/08/2020 22:30

Thanks for the new thread Wolf.

ememem84 · 04/08/2020 06:51

Morning all. Thanks wolf for the new thread.

I’ve quit the gym. Wasn’t going enough to justify the £39 a month due to wfh etc. Will re join when my old trainer is available.

Made a charity payment to local charity’s 1000 club. £30 for the year.

Wolfcub · 04/08/2020 08:44

Morning all. It's raining here. I was going to take ds for a picnic but may have to rethink that plan

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 04/08/2020 10:02

Morning all.
Today will be spent tracking down medication for 22d.
There is a supply issue, so now have to go round to other pharmacies! She doesn't have many left. I'm a bit pissed that the pharmacy didn't let me know sooner, I put the request in 2 weeks ago as we were meant to go on holiday, so I had time to sort anything out if anything went wrong!
Good job we aren't going anywhere now!

Will also need a small topup shop.

SingToTheSky · 04/08/2020 11:34

Woohoo I finally phoned the bank about my account downgrade not going through. All done properly this time (by the end of the call I could see the new account type on my app) and he’s giving me the fees back as the last two payments shouldn’t have happened. So that’s £36 back and £18 a month saved going forward. Yay!!!

I hate being assertive and stuff on the phone. But as it happened he had a rather lovely accent (US but couldn’t place where) which made the task a bit easier 😳🙈

ememem84 · 04/08/2020 12:24

Wahoooo! sing

ememem84 · 04/08/2020 12:25

Am waiting for my nail appointment now. So £39 will be spent. Annoyingly I broke my little finger nail yesterday. It’s broken very very low down and pulled off. So am dreading putting said finger on the spam off solution! #stingy!!

Wolfcub · 04/08/2020 15:13

Curvy that's appalling. Is it something you could get from a hospital pharmacy if needs be.
