OMG I just realised a new month has started and I'm still filling in my June spreadsheet. I can't keep up any more.

CurlsandCurves · 06/07/2018 14:59

@Flappy bargainous bags you got there!

@ememem bless you, a hangover in this hot weather! Your posts are making me smile, hope you get a nap.

Top up shop done, £37 which sounds a lot but I’m quite pleased. So often I go off piste because it’s the weekend so let’s have some naice food. Which can easily be £20 more than I planned to spend.

ememem84 · 06/07/2018 15:51

curls alas no naps here. I’m reading about very private funds. Yawn.

I’ve now had probably eleventy billion litres of water. And an ice lolly.

ememem84 · 06/07/2018 15:52

ONE hour left. Ish

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/07/2018 16:50

I think I've spent a £1 or so on calamine for my prickly heat.

John Lewis blinds refunded.

SnugglySnerd · 06/07/2018 16:54

NSD. I think that's every day this week!

WreckTangled · 06/07/2018 17:09

Time for a swim!

Wolfcub · 06/07/2018 17:28

Urgh Em I’m not sure I could cope with a hangover in this heat although I will be working on developing one later.

Day did not go to plan. Spent half of it in a&e with ds - he is fine but it meant running round like a blue arsed fly the rest of the day trying to get everything done. £20 nails. £89 b&q on new pendant light and table lamp (very modern not sure how they will look in my ancient house but hey ho out with the old husband in with the new modern lighting) and some masking tape. Also picked up the paint I had ordered and already paid for.
Sainsbury’s returned shorts but then bought treat tea for ds, food for me for the weekend and booze for me neither of which is strictly needed but is very much wanted after today!
£6 post office posting birthday card and baby presents

Wolfcub · 06/07/2018 17:28

Wreck your pool look lovely

CremeEggThief · 06/07/2018 17:36

Sorry to hear about your DS, Wolf? Is he ok?Sad

NSD.

Wolfcub · 06/07/2018 19:11

Creme yes he’s absolutely fine thank you and I knew that when I took him. If the decision had been down to me rather than at the request of school we wouldn’t have been anywhere near a hospital. Even his bruise which looked like it would be spectacular earlier is barely there now

CremeEggThief · 06/07/2018 19:14

Oh that's a relief to hear, Wolf. I know you posted he was having a tricky time a couple of months back, so I'm glad to hear he's ok.Smile

WreckTangled · 06/07/2018 19:18

Pleased ds is ok wolf it's my dads pool I had a swim it was very warm.

Cagliostro · 06/07/2018 19:19

Glad he's OK! Can't have been fun waiting in hospital in this heat.

I collected the new sling and she loves it! Will require some help to have her on my back (this carrier can do both) but determined to learn.

Cag superhero lift for wearing on your back, until they get big enough to jump on Grin

Cagliostro · 06/07/2018 19:39

My friend just said the exact same thing! I haven't seen her for a while but she is going to show me when we meet for dinner in a couple of weeks. I tried with DD's help and nearly strangled myself 😳😂 the clips come up really high on me (it's a Tula, with a buckle between the shoulder blades when you wear on the front) so definitely need a hand to adjust them (when same friend helped me adjust the caboo it made the world of difference, she is an expert!). I have a feeling my giant boobs aren't helping matters though...

Glad your DS is ok wolf and have a well deserved Wine

Hope the hangover eases up em but sounds like you had all the supplies to keep you going Brew

I got an interview next week for the job I applied for! I now need to remember how to be a public sector worker, rather than someone who has been taught how to swear a lot, at everything for the last few months and remember how people are supposed to behave at work.

DP is also about to spend the weekend writing a job application. If we both got the jobs, we would both work term time only plus two weeks. It'll never happen, but a nice dream Smile

SunnyLikeThursday · 06/07/2018 20:22

Good luck Love. That sounds great. I also am a fan of swearing

I've got the pesky virus now. It's been a bit of a rubbish week for that. Onward and upward though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/07/2018 20:26

Motor trade Love? dh Is motor trade & every other word in this house begins with F or C.

SunnyLikeThursday · 06/07/2018 20:27

Fluffy now if I'd have known that I'd have signed up years ago. I'm sure I could fix cars.

ememem84 · 06/07/2018 20:34

Home. Finished work at 5. Picked Ds up from dparents. Have made risotto. Had another glass of wine. Nowhere near as delicious as the champagne I had last night (free bubbly tastes the best!!)

Dh is watching football.

WreckTangled · 06/07/2018 20:34

Ds said 'dammit' earlier and cried so much when we gently told him not to say it. He didn't realise it was a rude word!

It's hot indoors than out right now Hmm

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/07/2018 20:34

Sunny I do not doubt it. You'd be no worse than the people they hire.

£7.50 insulated picnic bag. Dh will go halves with me as he threw out a perfectly good cool box last year.

SunnyLikeThursday · 06/07/2018 20:38

Fantastic Fluffy I'll put it on my list.

I'm currently trying to fix my clarinet which is 70 years old and a bit rickety, and it's nervous work. I phoned a man and asked about it and he said that although it's old, it's the clarinet equivalent of Inspector Morse's Mark 2 Jag. He says it will make the best noise a clarinet can make, but if a bit breaks I'll never be able to get the parts. I think I may just have unwittingly become a classic car owner. Yikes! I am gingerly poking at the buttons.

QuiteCleanBandit · 06/07/2018 20:55

Yay I got £1.80 back into my Paypal for the chocolate so it was 9p Grin
