Hi, I wanted to be clear about the thread I started before - it's not a swap, so nothing is required in return! It's for the perfectly good uniform items that you might otherwise give to charity. This way we can support each other in our mumsnet community.

I've got several pairs of boys black school trousers aged 8-9 with adjustable waists. Free to good home and I'm happy to post just PM me Smile

For a girl
4 white school shirts aged 7-8 short sleeved
5 white school shirts aged 8-9 short sleeved
3 white school shirts aged 8-9 long sleeved
At least 3 summer dresses (8-9) which would do for next year?
two grey school dresses (age 7- 8)
One grey skirt aged 7-8

All I'm good wearable condition

spaghettiarms1 · 22/07/2015 16:21

What a lovely thread, unfortunately I have promised most of our outgrown uniform to a friend but am dreading the expense of kitting out my two boys too!
On the lookout for boys uniform age 4 or 7. Grey trousers & white polos. School shorts and of course the dreaded football boots / school shoes in a 13. The school were talking about a lost property sale last term but it didn't happen, they 'disposed' of unclaimed uniform.
I'll be back if I have anything of use for

ASAS · 23/07/2015 20:12

I have a pair of grey trousers which are a woman's 8 (regular length) but might suit a teen girl? Happy to pay postage.

PlayingHouse · 24/07/2015 22:23

Boys (or girls) aged 9-10 dark blue Mini Boden snuggly jacket. Very thick and lined with cuddly fleece. Would probably fit 11-12 as it's big. Has been much loved but still in great condition and I would love someone to have this. Can post Monday and will pay postage.

Two grey zip up pinafore dresses. Sainsbury TU size 8. Hardly worn.
I have various sizes of grey skirts, white polos and black trousers up to age 8 ish. Will look out if anyone is interested. These are more used but would be great as spares.

A wee bump.

My stuff posted uphthread is still available, but I will have to dump it soon, as it is cluttering up my dining room table.

Please PM me if you could use any of my stuff

endoftether12 · 25/07/2015 08:29

I have a lot of age 9-10 boys clothes that need a home. Also some size 2 nike football boots which are like new.
If anyone has anything for a 11-12 year old boy (white shirts, navy trousers, navy jumpers is the new uniform, although anything would be great) I would be really greatful.

LovelySpread · 25/07/2015 09:18

Fleecey jacket has now gone x

SuburbanRhonda · 25/07/2015 11:15

Hi i don't have anything to offer but wondered if anyone had age 7 boys black slim fit trousers or an age 3 black girls pinafore? School is changing uniform from september so am panicking as have to buy all new.

Muddlewitch · 25/07/2015 22:06

I have some age 5-6 blue and white gingham summer dresses and some age 5 grey skirts if anyone would like them.

Muddlewitch · 25/07/2015 22:07

Oh and a couple of age 5 grey pinafores too.

Eva50 · 26/07/2015 06:03

okokokok I have pm'd you Smile

Jcee · 26/07/2015 13:14

Got a pair of size 8 (junior) black pe pumps. They are in like new condition as DDs school insisted on a full PE kit for reception year but then didn't seem to actually do more than a few sessions all year!

WhenDoISleep · 27/07/2015 17:10

If anyone is interested I have the following:

  • John Lewis Boys' trousers - grey (adjustable waist and mock fly)

2 pairs age 4 / waist 52cms
4 pairs age 5 / waist 53cms
2 pairs age 6 / waist 55cms

  • John Lewis Boys' shorts - grey (adjustable waist and mock fly)

2 pairs age 5 / waist 53cms
2 pairs age 6 / waist 55cms

  • 2 white Trutex polo shirts - I think these are 5-6yrs, but the sizing has washed off the label
  • red shorts (matte, rather that the shiny style) - 22in waist

All have been worn, but are in good clean condition. The P.E shorts were barely worn as they just seemed to do P.E. in their uniform in Reception.

If interested, please let me know via PM.

I may have a few more things in a couple of weeks once I work out what I need to replace before DS returns to school.

AmIthatsummery · 28/07/2015 00:01

I've posted stuff out today

Still have girls grey trousers, age 5 and a pile of white ankle socks, if there are any takers

I will have other clothes too, but I will post them on the other thread, once I've sorted

ravenAK · 28/07/2015 09:47

Still have:

Boy's grey trousers, age 13-14 x2
Boy's v-neck sweatshirts in royal blue x2

LOTS of white shirts/blouses in assorted sizes - all quite well worn but might be useful spares
LOTS of blue gingham frocks, all ages 4-11

Adarajames · 28/07/2015 12:36

yummutummy drives me made when schools do that, it's so unfair! I don't think they should be allowed to insist in whole new uniform but should run current one alongside new till people actually need new items then can change to the new! I think you should tell school that's what you'll be doing unless they are prepared to provide / pay for the new items!

yummytummy · 28/07/2015 14:10

Adara yes you are right i wish the school would've paid but unlikely i think. I just don't want my dcs to be the odd ones out if everyone else is kitted out in new. It stresses me as have to get shoes bags etc as well and exh just doesn't help at all with all that. The pressure is too much at times

WhenDoISleep · 28/07/2015 15:32

I still have

  • red shorts (matte, rather that the shiny style) - 22in waist

available.
